The terminal is one of the many terminals in San Jose. A taxi or a bus change might be needed to get to other places in San Jose. The bus from this terminal goes pass the La Paz waterfalls early in the morning around 6am but the driver must be informed to stop because there is no bus stop and return around 5:45 pm but the bus must be flagged down because there is not bus stop.

This is a very convenient way to get to the Atlantic coast, the bus itself is very clean and it comes with AC and a second floor option. But ...don't expect a friendly cashier, at least from my experience, I think they have a very potential bus terminal but they should train better their personnel by implementing better customer service and guidance to their clients Otherwise it was a very smooth ride even though I was driving on the second floor .👍

Very good you can get buses to move around easy to every part of the region and out at a low cost.

Very chaotic if you don't speak Spanish. Even with Google translate no one could tell me where the bus to sarapiqui/Rio frio was. The ticket agent told me the wrong spot and it was the guard who helped me when I asked. Very confusing place

Although the bus was already reserved, they offered us the foot ticket. Don't know if is legal, but ok, just take care, and buy a ticket on advance. also, the bus is in supposed dangerous zone of the city, so, take additional care!

You can only pay in cash. Buses are not that punctual.

3.5 out of 5 to be precise. Lots of places to eat, clean. One big inconvenience, there is no WiFi but serves the Carribean coast of Costa Rica to perfection.

Very busy bus terminal with people headed to various regions. Taxi stand located outside terminal and there are areas to purchase snacks for a bus ride. Keep your head on a swivel as there are a few sketchy characters in places like these

Formerly known as Deldu. Not the bus to take for a border run. They charge you to use the restroom here. No paper towels to wash up.

    Must have public baths

God help you if you need to take a poop at this terminal. No matter what else, remember this one edict: do not poop here. Other than that, the food is okay. A lot of panhandlers here.

Not only they took forever to get to San Jose (a/ almost five-hour trip), not only because when we made the stop to eat and go to the WC, etc, roaches came out from under the back seats, the worst part of it was that when we got to the main station the driver just opened the luggage compartment, without staying there and random people came along and stole some of my things..... And the driver saw the person, and knowingly walked away because when I try to find someone he wouldn't be there. On top of that, the so-called security, started to rush us out outside, eventhough it was almost 10 p.m. and there were a lot of hand beglers and homeless people, among others right there harassing people for money, saying they will hold you things etc. Finally, to some people that were going to Peñas Blancas, the same so-called security, kept telling them that, yes! that was the terminal to take the bus that will take.thwm.to.the border and that's not true, those buses will take you halfway to the border with Panama, not Nicaragua. Amazing hoy bad the service is, but it reflects on all their fleet from others areas as well.

The times are very accurate for at least when the bus will arrive. And the prices are very good. Make.sure the bus you want isn't at the one a few blocks away. Mine was but it was close enough it wasn't a problem.
