I
am
proudly
South
African
Indian.
I
came
across
'The
Truro'
by
chance
and
I
can
honestly
say
that
it
felt
like
home.
At
a
time
when
my
family
was
missing
home-home
somehow
came
to
us!
The
owners
are
so
genuine
and
down
to
earth
and
they
made
us
feel
so
welcome
and
special.
In
fact,
we
were
thrilled
with
the
service
from
every
staff
member.
The
food
was
absolutely
delicious
and
bursting
with
flavour.
I
highly
recommend
the
Durban
butternut
soup
and
the
scrumptious
prawns
and
calamari.
I
think
it's
a
brilliant
fusion
restaurant
and
it
really
does
bring
something
different
and
spectacular
to
London.
The
malva
pudding
and
the
cheesecake
were
also
exquisite!
I
would
love
to
see
more
South
African
dishes
on
the
menu
in
the
future,
eg.
our
famous,
spicy,
mutton
sausages
and
bunny
chows.
Until
then
I
look
forward
to
my
next
visit
and
highly
recommend
this
restaurant
to
food
lovers
in
Croydon
and
beyond!
P.S
Take
a
moment
to
read
the
backstory
of
how
the
name
of
the
restaurant
came
to
be.
Our
ancestors
would
be
incredibly
proud
of
you
and
so
are
we!
Wishing
you
a
successful
journey!
