An outstanding restaurant in all regards. We made the booking last minute and it turned out to be a great decision. Our first impression was that it is an immaculate restaurant decorated to an extremely high standard. We were greeted by beautifully presented courteous and attentive staff. The menu is comprehensive and authentic with some lesser known regional choices, quite superb. Just before the food arrived, our warmed plates were brought to the table which was an excellent display of attention to detail which runs through all aspects of this impressive and welcoming restaurant. Every dish served was delicious, at the end Chef even came to our table to check if we liked food and if we have any feedback which is great. Without doubt it will continue to be one of the finest Indian restaurants in Purley if our first impressions are anything to go by. Simply first class, well done to all concerned.

Biss, the chef and owner, went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. It was my birthday, and he generously treated us to a complementary starter, which was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. We couldn't finish our main courses and I was pleased that the food was served piping hot. The freshness of the food truly shone through, with vibrant spices and fresh herbs enhancing the flavours. I can confidently say that this is the best restaurant I've dined at all year. The kindness, attentiveness, and customer service here are truly unmatched. Biss even came out to ensure we were satisfied with the food and recommended something new for me to try.

We have been to Gurkha Naan a few times since its been open. The Owner and chef Bishnu is a really nice man he comes out and will personally greet every table and even make specal dishes for customers to try. The staff here are just as amazing and considering how busy they are they manage to serve everyone really quickly with a smile there is no real wait for service that I received or saw. The food itself is not typical curry house food with some unique Nepalese dishies which are nicely balance. and big portions. I really hope they continue they way they are going and become go to restaurant in Purley. Myself and my family will be visiting again and hope to try some more unique dishes. A lot of restaurants have lost the personal touch but this place with Bishnu is reintroducing that personal touch. Thank you for making it a very specal meal for myself and my family.

This was an excellent meal last weekend. Brought back memories of beautiful food in the mountains in Nepal. Head chef coming to speak to the customers was also a lovely touch.

My friends and I went for dinner yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Everything was beautifully presented and very delicious. We really enjoyed all the dishes but would have one recommendation for the vegetable poleko. The vegetable pieces should be cut smaller - easier to eat and easier to share. We would still highly recommend a visit and will surely be back!

Amazing food with fresh ingredients. Great to see some new items on the menu coming from the Nepalese cuisine, on top of all the Indian classics. Everything we ordered at our dine in was delicious and we will return.

Great tasting food you can tell has been made with fresh ingredients. Head Chef and Owner took time out of the kitchen to ensure the service and more importantly the dishes we ordered were first rate.

Fantastic! The food is very tasty and fresh as well as excellent value particularly given the quality. The menu has a lot of choice including some quite different dishes to any standard Indian. I’m very pleased this has opened in Purley and will definitely be back. As an aside, the delivery company (Foodhub) failed to turn up but the restaurant were great at stepping up to make up for someone else’s mistake as they actually got their staff to deliver to food despite being busy in the restaurant. This was above and beyond but tells you how importantly they take service. A big thank you. I’ll definitely be back!

Been here 4 times. Took some curry expert friends with me. They couldn’t believe how good the food was. Lovely staff lovely food. I live in Purley so such a good addition to the local community. A pleasure to write a review for deserving people. Hope it stays this way.
