I really liked this hotel, great location for Victoria coach station and 7 minutes from the train & tube station. We had a quad room and it was very spacious, it had a window looking onto the street. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning everything you need. The breakfast was continental with a great selection of what you’d expect, you can also take to your room. There was an issue that really ruined our 2 night weekend stay which was none of the eclectic sockets worked. We didn’t realise until the morning when we woke to find that none of our phones and portable chargers had charged. The plug socket next to the mirror required someone to lean on the plug whilst I dried and straightened my hair, it was absolutely ridiculous and I feel completely ripped off!

The hotel itself is very well located, the rooms were impressive at first glance with a nice shower as well. There is no lift so be prepared to be lugging large suitcases up the stairs. The only reason this is a 2 star overall is because I was there one night and we had bed bugs in the room. Horrible! The hotel was however very quick to refund the total amount for the night.

3/5 Ok The property is located within a 7 minute walk from Victoria Station in a quiet neighborhood. We initially arrived approximately 1.5 hours prior to the check-in time to see if we could possibly get a room earlier. Unfortunately we were unable to and were advised to come back at 3 pm. In the mean time the hotel offered to store our baggage. We were instructed to walk our bags into a side storage area and leave our bags there. It was quiet concerning as the storage area was unlocked and we were not given any claim checks. The staff at the front counter were not rude, but also not kind or helpful. *** There are no elevators in this hotel *** Upon entering our room, we found it to be quite small for two people. As we were staying only one night this was not an issue for us, however if we intended on staying longer I could see this being a concern. The bed had some hair on it as well as a stain on one of the pillow cases. The biggest issue for us was the bathroom. Not only was the shower extremely small, the toilet was almost unusable due to the location. The front of the toilet was not more than 2 feet away from the wall. In order to use it, we would have to sit on it at a 90 degree angle. I could not fit my legs between the wall and the toilet. Overall I would not come back to this hotel based on our experience.

Where do I even start.. This hotel does not even deserve one star to be honest. When we arrived there were other people checking in and there was a man lying on the couch in the lobby with no shoes on. Then we got to check in there was no welcome or information given just the key and told to go down the stairs. When we got into our room I was hugely disappointed. It was so small, stains all over the walls, confetti from previous people staying there , flies on the walls, curtains stained, our key card for our room didn’t work everytime we came in in the evening so had to run back upstairs for them to reactivate it again. We put the sign outside the door for our room to be cleaned, we were there for 3 days and it hadn’t been touched once. When we checked out I said to the lady I want to check out she took the key card and said that’s it. Not even a “how was your stay “ etc very poor manners/communication. The only thing I did like was the location. Would definitely not stay here again I would rather pay that bit extra for a much nicer hotel.

Just back from a 3 night stay here. Our room was on the 1st floor so no elevator wasn't really an issue for us. Room was compact but modern and spotlessly clean. Fresh towels every day, coffee/ tea replenished every day. Breakfast was choice of cereal, toast, croissant, pastries, bread rolls, ham, cheese, selection of fruit, yogurt, fruit juice and coffee machine was spot on! I read the reviews about this hotel and was really dreading my stay here but I was pleasantly surprised! There was clean pleasant smell throughout the hotel... It wasn't any more noisy than other hotels, you'll always here doors opening and closing and voices in corridors, it wasn't a major issue. The bed was a small double but it was comfortable and clean.... For the price and the location I honestly couldn't fault it. Our room looked freshly painted, if I had to pick a fault I would say the voile on the windows was a little grubby but that really is just being picky... We would definitely stay here again.

The best thing about the hotel is the location, as other people have already described. Our room was on the third floor and there is no elevator, so we had our problems getting our suitcases to the room. The rooms are extremely noisy, even after the official night's rest (10 pm) we could hear people stomping around directly above us at 11:30 pm. The rooms were not properly cleaned, there was hair and dust everywhere, overnight my cell phone display was full of dust. The room was way too small for 3 people, especially the double bed, as well as the bathroom. The hair dryer is outside the bathroom and once during use just went out. The electrical outlets worked fine. Breakfast in the basement was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The staff at breakfast kept jumping around between people, they didn't say anything, they didn't really come across as friendly. So if you place a lot of value on the location in the city center and have few demands on the accommodation, this is the right place, the hotel is also not too expensive.

I stayed her one night, and it did not look like the same as in the Photos, it was dirty and old, and it was no lift in the hotell so you had to walk up the stairs. No service her and not much to have for breakfast. The toilets smelled weird, and the towels were dirty too. Not staying her again! Do not recommend.

Good enough location, price was much better than surrounding hotels, although had a bad experience. The receptionist gave us room card for the room on the top floor ( I had crutches at the time) and advised that if we needed anything there I a phone to call reception. After a great effort to get to the room, only found out we couldn't lock the door from inside as the lock felt out of the door as we tried to lock. Though to call reception, but phone line was dead and not any cables connected to it. So decided not to stay as I've instantly felt very unsafe. Went back to reception and asked for refund. He went to check out the room for my complaints and came back saying that lock not working doesn't matter as you need a key card to get in and the phone cables are in the wall just needed to connect. Omg didn't know I meant to do it myself, move the heavy table, find cables and connect the phone before you could use it!!! He said he can't refund, so I had to argue to get manager and eventually we got our money back. Two single ladies on our own middle of night in London, wouldn't go back to this hotel. Ended up paying more, but got nice room same night.

They provide laundry service so I asked them to do laundry for me and they returned all my clothes having turned BLUE. They would not give me a full refund of the value of clothes ruined. They only gave me a small refund for the visit because they kept saying it was my fault not theirs?? If you’re going to provide laundry service then I don’t need to tell you how to do laundry. The hair dryer was broken and we told them and it never got fixed. The first night the shower flooded and when someone came to fix the drain, it smelled the rest of the night. The staff was helpful at least to bring room spray. We also experienced an allergic reaction due to bed bugs (diagnosed by dermatologist in states). It’s a good location. The one thing we appreciated.

I’m honestly not sure why the reviews are so bad. We just stayed here on our london visit (may 2022), and I was at first a little skeptical given what I had read. The rooms are small, but enough to fit a full bed and a twin. I also loved there was an actual AC unit too. The bathroom was remodeled , and although it was quite small, did the job and had a great shower. You can hear noise from other rooms but it isn’t anything that bothered us. For the value and location it can’t be beat. Would highly recommend!

this hotel is absolutely not recommended, the rooms are dirty and it also stinks everywhere in the hotel. the reception makes double bookings on your credit card and is then unreachable. the staff speak bad english. the bathroom is full of mold and does not vent at all. you pay extra for breakfast. but they close the breakfast room and give you a plastic bag with a banana and an old cookie, no coffee or tea. the hotel is very noisy also the window and the front door do not close properly.

Very spacious rooms and highly worth the price. There is no lift to take you to the room. I had to climb up 3 floors. Very clean and tidy, i spend a night there. The location is awesome. It is very convenient to get to any sights of the city. I stayed during the Christmas holiday. Which all the local transportation was not working. However its so easy to take a walk and enjoy the area.

I had a fantastic stay! The comfort of the room, perfect for a solo traveler like me, was outstanding. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the cleanliness of everything was top-notch. The front desk assistants were more than excellent and incredibly welcoming. They made it effortless for me to get everything I needed. My room's location, overlooking the intersection, offered a beautiful view. Opening the window turned the room into a peaceful oasis, with just the right amount of breeze and soothing city sounds that weren't noisy. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Good location, but the room we booked could be a little better maintained. We saw that the staff began to paint some rooms next to us, so maybe ours was next. As the last room booked, it was on the low ground and the 'view' was a small space with an equipment (a generator, maybe?). Also, a little bit of hassle until it gets warm, using the AC with inverter. We liked the pressure of the water, the fact that the bathroom was (apparently) recently renovated. The bed was comfy and the complimentary tea and coffee helped.

The hotel didn’t have an elevator, which was initially ok, but the stairs are very small & narrow. It’s very difficult to walk up with large language. The steps and floors are squeaky. The room had dust everywhere, and the bathroom and towels were NOT clean. The bed sheets were also dirty, darker stains all over it. The window doesn’t properly close so you have cold air coming from the windows at all times (freezing cold room at night). You also hear people talking, and cars driving by. The electrical outlet doesn’t even work properly. The charger just falls off and you have to keep holding it for it to charge. The air condition doesn’t even work. Why bother having it there? Even after room service, the room was still dirty. Both the bathroom & bedroom. Lastly, the hotel is very old & I do NOT recommend. You’ll find a lot better hotels nearby for a better price.

It was a great stay overall. I read a ton of reviews/research before booking this hotel (and other hotels) and a lot of people mentioned about small rooms which I was definitely concerned about. The room, in fact, was small BUT it had everything that a hotel has. In my humble opinion - considering that the hotel is in London - the price is VERY reasonable and couldn't have picked a better hotel for our 2 day stay. Honestly, there is nothing wrong with it. The location is great as it's super close to Victoria station. It did have drain problems but I think it's a London thing. The city is ancient. 5/5

Stayed in the basement room next to the breakfast room. Bed was clean and comfy, decor is typical cheap Victoria hotel - tried to make it look high end but it's done badly and all falling apart, exposed wires on the hairdryer, loose light fittings, rotting wood in the bathroom, random holes in the floor under the carpet etc. Nothing major though. However, all night I could hear rats scuttling about in the walls and ceiling. One of the recessed ceiling lights wasn't properly in place so I even saw a couple running around, and a little foot popped through. Pretty disgusting as it's next to the breakfast room, I immediately cancelled the breakfast when seeing and hearing the rats!

Excellent location 5 min walk from Victoria Coach Station. Nice clean room and great value for London. Have stayed many times for work and with family.

On arrival of my stay the room I had been allocated was unacceptable and dangerous. The whole experience I had during my 1-night stay was awful, and this hotel shouldn't be allowed to operate in its current state. On my initial walking up to the room there was bed linen and towels on the stairs in front of fire extinguishers. In such an event as a Fire this could be a trip hazard or worse render access to the fire extinguishers useless. There was a hole in the ceiling, torn curtains, stained walls, bed, and walls. The hair dryer had electrical tape holing it together and questionable PAT testing label. I hope you can work on these details. I didn't sleep very well at all and have had to seek other arrangements for the remainder of my stay. I would not recommend staying here.

Two stars do this establishment right. I don’t mind the no elevator to get to the top floor part, however furniture is worn down, the room had a distinct smell to it that was not pleasant and the bathroom could have been a lot cleaner. Given it’s price I wouldn’t book with them again unless they take some action and pay more attention to details. It’s location close to Victoria station is ,however, convenient for someone flying out of Gatwick.

Really pleasantly surprised. My room was clean, modern, quiet. Bathroom had an awesome rainfall shower. Sometimes budget hotels can feel really run down, but this felt really good value for money. I’d definitely stay here again. Free Wi-Fi, comfy bed & pillows worth a mention too. Only negative was some marks on the wall in the room but that’s really minor I had a great stay.
