This
vast
open
space
has
something
for
everyone
if
you
like
being
outdoors
and
you
appreciate
all
that
nature
gives
us...
Beautifully
kept
flower
beds,
planted
by
the
Richmond
Fellowship
(so
I've
been
told)
who've
been
doing
a
fantastic
job,
and
you
can
see
for
your
self
when
you
take
a
visit
😉😉
A
dedicated
Litter
picking
group
also
goes
round
the
park
once
a
week
to
help
keep
the
park
clean
and
tidy
which
is
lovely
community
spirit!
Plenty
of
people
come
and
walk
here
with
their
dogs
or
take
a
visit
on
their
lunch
break,
eat
sandwiches
on
a
park
bench,
meet
a
friend
for
a
chat,
attend
clubs
&
groups
or
visit
the
playground.
The
way
I
see
it
there
are
2
sections
to
Queens
Park.
The
1st
part
(visible
from
Church
Road/
opposite
the
Caterham
Dene
community
hospital
&
Tandridge
Hub)
is
the
smallest
section
of
the
park,
but
by
far
the
prettiest.
This
area
is
what
I
would
call
Queen's
Park
'Gardens'
because
this
is
where
you
will
find
the
beautiful
flower
beds
I
mentioned
previously...
So
this
1st
part...
(aka)...
🌿🌼🌷🍂👸🏼'Queens
Park
Gardens'👸🏾⚘🌺🍃🌻
♡contains♡
▪︎
the
smaller
section
of
the
park
but
by
far
the
prettiest
area
of
Queens
Park
▪︎an
area
of
well
kept
green
in
the
middle
where
garden
games
are
sometimes
played
by
regular
groups
&
societies
▪︎
a
reasonably
wide
paved
area
that
surrounds
the
whole
green,
acting
like
a
circuit
for
people
to
walk
round
with
dogs,
alone
or
in
small
groups
▪︎and
the
outer
'circle'
or
surround
if
you
like...
because
its
more
of
an
oval
shape
is
colour
upon
colour
of
beautiful
bushes
and
flowers🌼🌺🍀🌼
Between
this
smaller
section
of
the
park:
the
beautiful
gardens
and
the
larger
section
of
the
park,
there
is
a
large
hut
where
some
activities
and
groups
take
place
(yoga,
tennis
🎾
etc)
as
well
as
toilets.
Moving
on...
to,
the
much
larger
area
of
Queen's
Park
-
this
is
what
I
would
refer
to
as
'The
Playgrounds'
(although
coincidentally
you
could
easily
miss
this
bit,
not
knowing
it
was
there
as
its
well
hidden
behind
trees
and
large
hut
in
the
middle).
◇
here,
in
the
Larger
section
of
the
park
you
have...
°
a
football
field
which
is
big
and
I
presume
other
sports
make
take
place
here
too
°
a
large
area
of
land..
I
couldn't
say
how
much
but
people
can
walk
their
dogs
as
well
as
let
them
off
the
lead
if
they
wish
°
a
children's
play
area
-
swings,
slides,
the
lot...
its
quite
a
good
one
from
what
I
remember
(didn't
look
at
it
clearly
but
it's
usually
very
busy)
°
a
small
refreshments
&
ice-cream
van
&
a
seating
area
/
some
picnic
benches
ice-cream
🍦🥤🧋
°
many
benches
around
the
outskirts
of
the
park
itself
°
lots
of
lovely
trees
and
wildlife
in
general
-
its
a
lovely
place
to
visit
if
you've
never
been
and
just
down
the
road
is
also
East
Surrey
Museum
which
is
free
to
visit.
