Beautiful and big sized green space with nice views. It's close to Mayfield lavender farm and is an excellent choice for dog walkers and for short hikes through the woods. I usually cycle here and take in the views and take a walk before the ride back. Love this place in summer and fall seasons. Plenty of car parking spaces and a cafe at one corner. Perfect for a morning stroll and coffee/breakfast after.

Oaks Park is Sutton Council. Relax, walk or jog in the beautiful open spaces and fresh country air. Enjoy a drink and or meal in the cafe. Explore the historic site of the Oaks Mansion and the stable block with its resident artists community. Listen to the birds in the woodland as you follow the Oaks Nature Trail. Play with the family in the dog free natural children's play and picnic area Explore the flora and fauna of the park, particularly the beautiful trees and meadow area.

Didn't see the whole park, but the cafe and toilets were very nice and clean. It was nice to see so many people with their dogs around. They had dog treats to buy for them and lots of other animal goodies too. Will be back when the weather is better.

Have been coming here for over 30 years. From a kid! Lovely walks and they have just revamped the cafe. Lovely, lovely staff here, always happy. Food is really yummy and reasonably priced. Can't fault it. 10/10. There us a gold course here also with a clubhouse where you can get food too. A lovely day out for a family, couple, walking the dog or to relax by yourself.

Great place for a walk and picnic. Nice views, too. In addition, there is a café, which does nice food. Very friendly staff there. Car park can get busy at times, but not surprising given the beautiful landscapes here. Worth coming to and coming back to, however.

Had a lovely half day here with my grandson. Big space to play and he loved climbing trees. Had lunch in the café and it was lovely tasty food served quickly. Would certainly return again.

A steep field, covered in dog poo.. And the dog theme apparently continues on a Friday evening 🙄

Morden Hall Park is one of the sites looked after by National Trust. Being situated near the local amenities makes this place a great spot to spend time alone, with your pets, friends or even family. If you do not want to bother carrying much food to the site, you can buy some tasty scones or hot chocolate on the two cafes on site, one of which is a dog-friendly cafe. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, food and beverages are available for takeaway only. Toilet is available at least at one of the cafés. There are lots of interests at this site ranged from strolling around and enjoying the sights, jogging, having a picnic, taking pictures, photography, beekeeping, observing wildlife in their habitats, finding stuff for your garden, pond and aquarium, even organising an unforgettable moment such as a wedding event at a beautiful building embellished by picturesque surroundings. For you who enjoy the serene atmosphere, I would recommend you to be early so that you can immerse yourself in nature. The best moment to hunt some nice pictures is usually either in the morning or in the afternoon when the sun gives you perfect shimmering golden light (However, the sunny day in winter is just perfect from sunrise to sunset). Even a hazy foggy misty weather could give some dramatic effects on the pictures you take. After a rainy day, the terrain could be a little bit muddy. Choosing the correct gears could make the most out of your adventure here. Therefore, checking the weather before visiting is beneficial, depending on your point of interests. Bins are available around, either for general waste or for dog waste. Due to high number of visitors, the bins are often full. Most of visitors take the ownership of keeping this site clean and beautiful. I personally do not mind taking my rubbish with me and throw it later somewhere else. Every single visit is a unique experience. I would recommend for you to explore it in different types of weather, time and occasion.

Absolutely my favourite park in South England! If you want to feel like a small gremlin (or fairy) roaming the forest - this place is a must! Surrounded by trees and forestry, it's an amazing place to explore, and the café is like a reward!

Primarily a dog walking park, sadly not ideal to go with young children. We've twice had dogs push our toddlers over and simply been told 'this is a dog walking park' by way of apology. Dog walkers seem to think its an official dog walking park. It isn't.

Well looked after, clean and helpful staff. Good for the family. Would like to give more stars however there are safety issues, if you are walking, have disability or allowing children to run ahead, bikes and runners are all using the same walkways and tend not to slow down.

  • 4/5 James K. 3 years ago on Google
For somewhere in the middle of the M25 it's a small green haven of nature. Fairly busy with kids, and bits of the area closed off because of covid. It's an interesting National Trust property with some industrial heritage (parts of a snuff mill) alongside lots of trees, millstreams and ducks, geese and other wildfowl. They had a nature trail to encourage the kids to look at different sorts of trees, which my eight year old daughter loved.

  • 5/5 Simon D. 3 years ago on Google
Run by the National Trust this park is different perhaps from many in London as there is so much wetlands and a river (Wandle) flows through it. Many footbridges and even water wheels originally made for grinding tobacco into snuff. There is much to see and explore here, including a Victorian stableyard which has been renovated into a very pleasant cafe. There is even a second hand book shop. This south London park is easy to reach, especially on the Underground as the Northern line station, Morden, is very near.

We went to the National Trust café in Morden Hall Park Morden. As you can see from the photo the Male chef is preparing food and NOT wearing any PPE equipment !!! Hasn’t the National Trust told or Trained there staff staff about Covid 19? The park is lovely, I walk my two dogs here regularly and they love going into the woods and running around and getting a dog sausage at the cafe afterwards. However, I was here the other day and the road had been blocked by the wildlife trust and it meant getting into the car park was very difficult and it blocked up the road, they need to be more considerate about where they put their van!

Ok, I guess, if you're a dog walker. Not a good place to play football with grandchildren. Dogs everywhere keen to play. Only one of the four of us got messy shoes. Quite good for the number of dogs around. One small play/picnic area dogs aren't allowed. If it draws dog walkers from other parks, I suppose that's good.

Very pleasant walk to take with dogs or friends. Good for children in that its not a big walk (less than hour) but don't expect swings etc. Didnt visit the cafe but large indoor and outdoor dining area with toilets etc. Decent car park with some tarmacadam paths for buggies etc around central area but limited.

A nice park, but not very space to park a car due to trees. Probably best to plan a visit when not too many others are likely to go. The café looked really good and had quite an interesting menu. There was a mixture of indoor and covered outside seating.

Lovely park for dog walking or just to take a leisurely stroll. There is a large carpark at the top entrance and a nice little cafe that serve hot and cold food and drinks as well as doggy treats. Leaving the carpark away from the cafe will take you on a wooded circuit around the golf course. Can get very muddy after it has rained. There is a small play area for children close to the cafe.

Great for walking with views into Central London. More of a giant dog garden than a park (locals must really like doggies, doggy traffic lights could help in busy spots as there were so many)

A good park with a large selection of interesting trees. Fantastic if you like dogs: there are many and, I mean many!!! Not good if you don't like or, are frightened of dogs - I'm ok with them. Unfortunately, many owners seem to be happy to eat at the dog friendly cafe and just sit there ignoring there dog barking it's head off continually, doing absolutely nothing to control it - blissfully unaware or, couldn't care less, that it's making a nuisance of itself.

Dig walker's heaven. Always busy but large enough never to get crowded. Expect to see nearly everyone walking dogs. It must be south London's canine social hub ! The café is good too. Usually busy in good weather but coffees and cakes always delight. Public toilets available at the café too.
