Also called the Redhill top. Experience the pleasant wavy winds and the soulful vocals from the birds. You literally feel you are top of the world. You can spend quality time here with your family and pets. A mind relaxing view of planes landing and taking off from gatwick airport. You need to carry food along with you as there are no restaurants or shops. This place is accommodated with 4-5 benches to sit and relax. Remember, there are no public toilets here.

It's really peaceful. The scenic beauty and calmness that you enjoy at this location is really worth enough.

Nice open space that doesn't have lots of people on it. There's a free to access orienting course with downloadable maps from the mole valley orienteering club. Parking is the only downside, there isn't an actual car park and many of the surrounding streets are either very busy or narrow. So expect to walk in for the last couple of hundred metres or so.

A beautiful spot to sit and ponder. Views over St John's church and south to Gatwick and beyond. Good tree climbing, kite flying & dog walking opportunities too!

Beautiful views, great spot for short or longer walks, shame that some dog owners are not bothered to clean after their dogs.

I have been coming here for more than 50 years and it's always calm and peaceful. Brilliant for walking and exercising your dog. Great for children and there are some trees that are very easy for the littler ones to climb. Far reaching views all the way to the South Downs. Parking is not allowed in High Trees Road so you need to park in Church Road. A lovely place.

Located above the locality of St Johns this is one of my favourite open spaces in Surrey. Along with the viewpoint looking out over The Weald it also has some beautiful beech and oak woodland. Once you've had a look around why not head for a jar or a bite to eat at the nearby Garibaldi Public House

As a child growing up here in the 60's and 70's, I have fond memories playing in this lovely wooded kingdom. It's great to see the photos people have taken, and see the ordnance survey datum plinth still remains. I moved away to Sussex in 81, and occasionally return to Redhill to visit my old haunts.

I walk my dog here early on weekday mornings. There is a lovely view that stretches up to Crawley and London's Gatwick Airport (Not in London). This is a nice bit of green in quite a residential part between Redhill and Reigate. No issues in letting my dog off the lead here, friendly dog walkers frequent this place.
