A fantastic discovery for all level of golfers, we played the 18 hole course which has lots of great elevation throughout the entire course and fantastic views as you play the round, the course is in stunning woodland location very well kept with good greens. The only negative comment about the course is that the bunkers could do with more sand but this really is a small point. The club staff at Pro shop were very friendly on arrival and the service at bar was also equally excellent. All level of golfers would really enjoy playing this gem of a course.

A superb venue for a wedding. A large dining area that has wonderful views over the golf course. I've seen this room dressed up and it's a magnificent place for a wedding. The layout works well with unobstructed views across the room from the top table, no unsightly pillars in this room. There is no need, as is often the case with venues, to have to leave the main room to visit the bar. Here it is conveniently located in a corner of the room so you won't be loosing your menfolk later in the evening. Played a beautiful Friday evening after work in mid July. Course in superb condition. Great views of London on the way around. Not overly long but testing undulations and couldn’t work the greens out for love nor money! A great facility and nice terrace for a drink after your round. Highly recommended.

We played the 9 hole course. Beginner friendly. You have to adhere to standards but they are very relaxed. The 9 hole was kept to a very high standard and was beautiful. Good mix of pars and distance. A good walk, especially due to the hills. It was like you discovered a new area every time you walked to the next hole so it sometimes felt like Millionaires golf club. It was fairly busy, I went on a Saturday. Rate of play is kind of important. Would highly recommend this course to anyone.

Really impressed with this place, a little hidden gem. We this last week, expected the course to be a little wet. Pleasantly surprised, course in great condition for the time of year, reasonable price for the round and for the buggy. I’d return and recommend.

Pro shop staff very welcoming and friendly. Location nice with some great views at certain parts of the course. The course condition is about what you’d expect for £26 - fine and playable, but not great by any means. Layout about the same. Unfortunately the on-course management was non-existent. Mainly 2 balls, mixed with singles and the odd 3 ball, nobody wanting to join up to create 4 balls which would have helped greatly. 2:45 to get to the 12th tee and when there, there were still 2 groups waiting to tee off! That was me done for the day and unfortunately will never be back.

I dont know if theyve changed greenkeepers or some management but 18 hole course in fantastic nick. Especially greens

Great condition course for a late afternoon twilight round. Challenging in places with a good mixture of holes. Outside of being bitten (my own fault for playing in shorts in twilight) 14 times on the last hole had a thoroughly enjoyable round and shall return.

Played here yesterday and was very impressed! Proshop staff friendly and efficient. Was told I could tee off 30 minutes earlier than booked. Course in great shape and greens very good. Friendly players on the course and ranger came up to make sure I was happy. Only 10 minutes from my house so will definitely use again!

Could not recommend any other place than the Oaks to have your wedding and reception. My wedding was a few months back in August and the guys there made the day feel like a fairy-tale. The layout and style of the building was so ideal for us, open and simple, working so well with our colour themes and ideas of using as much fauna and flora as possible! Everyone is so kind and helpful, having meetings with Natasha on setting up and communicating to her is so easy. I sent so many questions, updates, etc and Natasha handled all of it beautifully and helped in making the day feel even more like a breeze. Thank you so much to everyone who worked that day, that I spoke to, and that worked the wedding night, you were all incredible and can never thank you guys enough!

Course is ok but in desperate need of someone to manage the play. I’ve played here multiple times on weekdays and every time it’s the same, literally hours spent waiting on tees. Wouldn’t recommend unless you have time on your hands

For all the rain the course held up well. Greens were fast and true. Fairways soft and had to clean the ball often but overall really happy for state of course. Will return.

Very handy for the driving range but top tracer not on all bays. Reception staff very chatty and helpful.

Had a golf society here on Saturday and it was top class. Course is quite forgiving which suited our society of various abilities. Very easy to organise with the club and great place to have some drinks afterwards. Bacon sandwich and peak time round for £34, bargain.

Paid for a block of private lessons before Covid. Received no communication until I messaged about booking one of my prepaid sessions and was told they had expired. I understand it’s been hard for businesses in Covid but I was not notified or given an opportunity to use them at all.
