Not bad, have to have car very long way to walk round, there's no sort cuts to get there ,if willing to climb over fance down the banking .

May I start by saying wow, wow, wow what an outstanding store this is!!! After dropping my daughter-in-law of at work today Fri 8th August 9 am I decided my 3 year old grandson and myself will call into Homebargains at clay cross Chesterfield to just pick up a few needed bits. As soon as we got there I had realised that I didn't have a coin for the trolleys so I could put my grandson in, with is in mind I just pick up a basket. It became quite clear that Tommy wanted me to pick him up.. I saw a shop assistant who's name is Jake to ask him if he was able to get me a coin so I could use a trolley.. This young gentleman said no problems I will go and get one for you . I found Jake to be such a warm caring person, softly spoken very calming presents about him.. He made a conversation with my grandson which made him feel at ease as he's not feels very well. I loved the fact that Jake had done this as this shows what a wonderful individual he is. I said thank you and carried on with my shopping feeling good..as I'm walking around this store I started to notice other members of Staff doing nice things for other shoppers even if it was only just saying good morning or just a nice welcoming smile.. As I arrived at the pet section my grandson said that he needed a wee.. A store staff member was filling up the pet section I approached him asking if there is any toilets that he could use? Again it this member of staff went out of his way to take us to the toilet... I found out his name is Brandon again he was so nice, polite and caring...This makes a huge difference to me as If Jake couldn't be bothered to help me I would have struggled to complete my shopping or if Brandon just said no toilets available then I would've had to leave my shopping to quickly take Tommy outside for a wee.. In both these instances your staff was there to go above and beyond to help me!! Please could you thank them both for what they did for us today as I left your store feeling very valued as a customer.. Outstanding customer care & service experience was given 👏 👏👏 THANK YOU xxx

Good shop for middle range priced super market shopping. Good selection of items food, non food and homeward. Newish store with wide aisle and good layout . Costa coffee and Macdonald's in the same retail park.

Severe lack of mens toiletries available. No Lynx shower gel or deodorant unless you want to buy a gift pack. Long queues. Gone downhill in last six months.

Love home bargains always end up buying so much more than I went in for I always have a great amount of stock and products a lot cheaper than major supermarkets in the area

I like Home Bargains first time I've been to the clay cross one it's a new one very neat and tidy well stocked shop.

The staff in this Home Bargains are exceptionally polite and friendly. An old lady, in front of us, was aided by a lovely young lady her name was Amy (I think), and she helped her to her car. New store opened recently in a new development of homes and shops within an expanding village, close to Chesterfield. The store has lots of offers, and it's stocked with multiple day to day items, foods, kitchen, decoration, DIY, and Christmas stuff, too. With clean shiny floors, shelves, and friendly staff ready to help and assist you.

Wonderful shop. Could spend a fortune in there (usually do). Got this lovely wool only £1.99 for the 3 balls. Very excited.

A very nice, well laid out tidy spacious store. Lots of choices for stock, more than some Home Bargains. Free parking You do need a coin for a trolly! Sells food including fresh and frozen Highly recommend

You know what you want? Probably won't find it.. You only have vague ideas of your requirements? You are so welcome. They have..things.. you can buy them.. many things.. strange things..in strange disorganised aisles

It's okay, it's pretty standard as their stores go, not much of a 'WOW' factor but it's new and the local population will definitely vote with their feet on this addition to local retail venues. A few more stores dotted around this one would benefit both Home Bargains and any other stores that could open on this embryonic retail park.

Wonderful shopping experience here, as always. Staff are pleasant and competent, the store is clean and uncluttered, and the range of products on offer is amazing. The store is located just outside Clay Cross, accessed from a roundabout on the A61 Chesterfield to Derby road. It's in a new development which includes a McDonald's and a Costa, both with drive-thru options. There's ample car parking, although some of the bends are a bit tight if you have a big car, and you may have to pause if there's a car coming the other way! Could have been planned better. There's also a small restaurant on the opposite side of the road. The food there is very good.

I always manage to find new and interesting things to spend my money on. They've even strted selling fresh and frozen food which is reasonably priced like the rest of their products. Well worth a visit.
