I always go cycling here, and in my opinion, it’s one of purley’s best kept secrets. I only discovered this place cycling and the view you get is incredible and insane. 100% would recommend to any dog walkers or cyclists. Such a beautiful tranquil place.

A really great, well-managed nature reserve, with plenty of plant and animal biodiversity. Really beautiful and peaceful. One of the best places in Croydon or Sutton for nature lovers.

Visited to do the parkrun. Great views of London! I was fortunate to visit on a nice sunny day.

Round Shaw Downs local reserve is a nice and well maintained natural land. Our family enjoyed a day out here. The spring blooms add a welcoming touch to the scenery. The place looks clean however there were few littering and we stepped over dog poo. Shouldn't be left there. There are ground besting birds in the reserve.

Lovely area of countryside just outside Croydon. It has views over parts of Central London and the towers in Croydon It also has an area with grazing cattle.

Nice patch of greenery in an otherwise urban Croydon area surrounded by industrial estates. Lots of areas for nature with a mix of meadows, shrubs and trees. Popular place with dog walkers. The collonades centre has free Parker for 3 hours and is situated across the road. Lots of history here during WW2 and some of the original runway and features can still be seen.

Stumbled across this calming open space on a grey, chilly, muddy day. So nice to find an enclosure of bullocks and to see lots of birds. We'll definitely go back in the spring and summer to see the seasonal changes.

Love this open place and the views are amazing. Being able to see the seasonal changes to the planting is a treat.

Wow.. lovely peaceful walk feels like the country side. Not next to the busy Purley way .

Stunning fields nice to take the children for a stroll before we settle them for bed. If you have a dog it's lovely place to take them too with plenty of fields to run around in them

My late mother and father's favourite place to walk. Especially walking towards the cows and bulls. In all weathers it is a breath of fresh air. The problem is too many irresponsible dog owners have taken over the whole walk.
