Great place to people watch. Great coffee and traditional pastries from Lecce. Some gluten free options too. If you like custard/cream, try the Pasticiotto, and the local specialty is the Caffé leccese (espresso, ice, almond milk syrup) We had the full aperitivo (a drink + a bunch of small bites) and spent a few hours in the sun on the patio.

That’s the best Caffe in town, amazing food, perfect location in the heart of the city. We have tried different type of sweets and they were the best we have tried in Italy. Lastly, customer service was amazing and the staff super nice.

Very good traditional Italian pastries and espresso right on the main piazza in the heart of Lecce, Italy. A nice place to eat and watch people walk by. This is famous for its pasticciato and café leccese. The servers are very nice. It’s a must stop while you are in town. Seem like everything filled with pistaccio cream is extra good. Same for the maritozzo.

Wow, amazing cafe. Huge selection of sweet and savoury pastries, arancini, calzone etc - I sampled many and they were all delicious. Great cappuccino. Really good location, right in the centre with lots to look at. You can order and pay at your table. Long opening hours too.

Our stay in Lecce was made even more special with the hospitality shown to us by the kind staff of cafe Alvino, particularly Salvatore! Grazie di tutto.

Great café and pasticceria in Lecce. Had my first Pasticiotto …. Local delicacy filled with cream, discovered by accident in 1795.

Good spot for some people watching. They serve these tiny mousse/cheescakes pots and with a coffe the bill was e5 - bargain. Friendlt service and it always looks busy, they all cant be wrong. Would go again.

I had a Latte bianco with granita di caffé and it was very good. The place inside is very elegant with crystal chandeliers. The staff is very gentle and precise and the prices are okay. I recommend to try here rustico leccese for an unforgettable experience!

This pastry cafe offers a wide variety of delicious treats. Everything we tried was genuinely tasty. Moreover, the service is efficient and friendly. Definitely a place I recommend for savoring authentic local flavors!

Had heard great reviews of this place and it did not disappoint. The location is great with fantastic views of the piazza. The selection of desserts out here is huge. The place is renowned for its pasticciotti and Lecce almond coffee. The former did not disappoint - Nutella, custard and many more flavours. The Sicilian cannolo was equally good and so were the savoury dishes - Rustico leccese and rustico vegano. Great place for a break before continuing the walk around the beautiful city of Lecce

The food is amazing. We had very nice pastries and the selection of sweets is big. The cocktails were not so good, though. And the location is very busy and the shop is very chaotic. The staff is not the most friendly, but they managed to sit us in the shade after we asked them, so that's positive. Overall, a good experience mostly for the food, which was great. Better to take away and go sit in a more pleasant spot.

Great selection of pastries 🥐 and coffee ☕️ it was busy in March 2023 when we were there, so I’d imagine it would be a popular place in summer🔆 toilets were not so clean😒

Pastries are good but far away from the best in town. All in all still a good experience, friendly waiters, lots of space outdoor and in the city center. A bit pricey compared to the other local coffee/pastries shops.

Double espresso, watered down, worst one I’ve had in Italy. Pastries, dry and way too sweet. The waiters gave us a feeling as to rush us out of there. I gave it a second star because the table and chair was stable (unlike most in italy). Caio.

Mixed feelings about this place. Fagottino with spinach and ricotta was kinda nice, the calzone wasn’t very good.. it felt that they were not fresh of the day… they heated them of course but still..

Supper. It is locaced right to the theater. You can have a coffee with some typical sweets, food with a table outside with a good view. They have quite a lot type of foods and option. We ordered the pasticciotto, panzarotto the typical food from here. They were all good. I suggested to try the traditional cream instead of other tastes. The service was a bit slow. So make sure that you have time to order and enjoy your food and drinks. Highly recommended.

The places looks pretty good. I ordered a "chocolata" and expected a hot chocolate milk. But didn't know what 8 ordered I guess. Because I got molten chocolate with oil on top (2-3 millimeter of oil). I really didn't like it to be honest. Luckly I got a little bit of water next to it. I added pictures if you wanna see what I mean. The place was very crowded.

Huge selection of fresh, tasty pastries and sweet treats. Open hours are long so you can visit until very late. Highly recommend!

My friends from Lecce said it was the best cafe in lecce and it did not disappoint. The pasticcioto were great. This place is slightly more expensive than other cafes but it’s because it has a great view and is right in the middle of town. I would return.

Nice cafe in the heart of the city. Perfecto to eat something sweet or savoury and enjoy a drink in the terrace. It is always busy but the waiters can give you an idea of the time or set up a new table. I think the Spritz is a bit too pricey as I was charged 7 euros for one and it cost half not far from there, but the rest of the prices are more or less fine. The pasticcioto was ok but not the best I had in Lecce.
