Very disappointed with the services and food, we booked a table for 8 people and asked for indoor seating because we had a couple elderly people and cold weather, but, we were given an outdoor table for 7 people, when I mentioned to them that it was a bit squeezed for 8 of us, they said that's all they could give to us, take it or leave it attitude, found them a bit rude ☹. The food was very average pub food. The good thing about this restaurant is they have a huge playground for kids to run around.

You are warned! The good is the location, the Swan Valley on a sunny West Australian day is magnificent. There was a band playing outside who was quite good and not too loud. The food was average and the prices as expected The bad; parking, we had to invent a place to park as it was overcrowded! We had a large party and had booked ahead We were inside, we weren’t given an option of being outside which was so much nicer. We were seated along a set of windows so if someone in our party wanted to get up so did others in our party to let the out. Bad placement! We took half an hour in a queue to order food, as we were ordering the staff wrote on a board near the counter 60 minutes for mains 45 minutes for pizza, Surely this would have been better placed near the beginning of the queue? We ordered and waited the 60 minutes. We enjoyed the Perth autumn weather. My burger came first and we waited another 10 minutes for my wives Parmi, the meals came out sporadically even though we all ordered at the same time. One couple in our party didn’t receive their meal until most of us had finished eating ours. At one stage we asked a staff member ‘what was happening with the order?’ he gave the standard answer of ‘yours is coming next’ as we saw numerous orders going to other tables. Everyone dislikes sitting there while the rest of your party is eating theirs and finishing even before they had received their order! Eventually their order arrived. The food; my burger was very dry and the meat over cooked and the chips were cold, I am guessing it was sitting on the counter for a while before I received it as it had that taste about it. The parmi was a good size and nice. A couple of people in our party had the brisket burger and both said they were very dry. There was three queues for drinks. We were told there was functions on and only a few staff, that was why they were so busy. Someone in management should have made decisions regarding the amount of people walking in in accordance with the amount of staff. I am normally looking for positives for every place we visit but this was hard to do for the Henley Brook, we went there because it was recommended however we didn’t find our experience worthy of a referral. The staff worked very hard and are a tribute to this place as is the location. Hence the two stars.

Been here a view times and never had a bad experience. Always a lot of people which is a great sign. Plenty of parking. Huge grass area for the kids to play and a play ground. Inside and outside seating to cater to whatever your preference is. Staff are friendly and attentive

Good pub style food and menu with great service. The atmosphere is wonderful set in a large country style setting in the Swan Valley. Plenty of space and seating, including indoor and outdoor. There is also a playground for the kid's and dogs on leads are allowed during the daytime hours.

The Hen is an awesome place to go to have a good meal and drink and relax at the same time. Indoor, outdoor and marquee dining as well as heaps of grassed area to sit with a picnic rug and your 4 legged friend. Note: dogs only allowed on week days. Staff are friendly and courteous. Order and pay at til for food, however drinks are ordered separately at bar and paid at bar.

Sensational food and service. Friendly hard-working staff in a family friendly atmosphere. Affordable dining for the whole family. Definitely worth a wee road trip, you won't be disappointed that's for sure.

Great venue! Came here a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised with the incredible service and food. Once our meals were finished, staff came and asked why some deserts had been returned half-eaten, to which we replied that we were simply too full! Great to see the staff care about their customers and food and sought feedback, will definitely be back again!

This is a tough rate for me. I really liked it here but was expecting something a little more upmarket and instead got excellent family pub vibes instead. The lower star is purely because of what I was envisioning going in. I have every intention of reviewing down the track and will be back. In general the food was really good and the staff extremely welcoming. We had pizzas, we had the share platter, we had cocktails and tried a local wine. Parm* was great, the pizza bases were excellent.

The food we had was great and plenty of. The drinks 🍸 went down well, and the cider was tasty. Staff tried everything to keep us loaded up and were sorry they didn't have a couple of things we wanted. I liked them. Well, the atmosphere was great 👍. Sitting in that gazebo was so relaxing 😌 and pleasant. Bloody flies are back. That didn't stop us from having a ball. We'll be back for sure in the near future. Recommend this place to anyone. Kid friendly and tons of room to play.

On Thursdays they have half priced pizzas. I always order the "It's A Spicy Prawn." Not spicy at all in my opinion but still tasty.

The Hen is a great place with a great family Vibe to me the only drawback is if you are booking for a lunch on the weekend ask to make sure your not close to the speakers for the live music as my guest and I left after our food as it was just too loud and we couldn’t have a conversation

What I absolutely loved about Henley Brook was the fantastic atmosphere with lush green landscapes and live entertainment right in the center of the yard. On top of that, my go-to drink was the Single Fin beer. It's a great spot to visit when you've got a bunch of friends for a nice chat, although it's worth noting that the wait time can be around 30 minutes to 45 minutes. My personal favorite was the perfectly cooked medium-rare beef paired with a cold beer. Plus, it's really enjoyable to watch the kids playing around and having a blast. I highly recommend this place for larger groups of friends and family, but do be prepared to spend a bit. It's well worth it for the experience!!

Went for lunch with my partner, we had a great time. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was well priced and good portions. The taste of the food was great. Hi had a burger with chips, my partner got the chicken parmi. Alcoholic ginger beer was great , not too sweet and not harsh👍 Had some bumnuts ? I think that was they were called, beer battered jalapenos, really and so delicious 😋

Great location, family friendly without being surrounded by kids all the time. Open space, playground and some animals, all good. Drinks are from the region, food is good pub like quality. Nice to chill outside on long benches or inside for a more intimate atmosphere. Well worth a visit when in the Swan Valley.

Such a nice place to chill and have our lunch. We really love it, will definitely come back again.

Lovely Sunday afternoon spent sitting on the large picnic rugs supplied under the shade of a beautiful tree. Live music was great and atmosphere was perfect! Lines for drinks were a little long but food ordered and received quickly.

We enjoyed our dining experience at this place. Nice ambience with big dining area both indoors and al fresco. Big estate and play area for the kids. Good food, friendly staff, and quick service. Popular place for lunch and dinner. We ordered fish and chips, arancini, pizza, and pasta. Everything here is pretty good.
