I love this place. Friendly staff, great venue and last night I saw a show that touched my heart so deeply. 'A lifetime of the deaf and deafblind'. Everyone should see this show, the progress that is being made for equality was beautifully showcased in this musical number. Thank you to the Blue Room for providing the platform to enable a greater awareness for our deaf and deafblind community.

This is a wonderful, intimate theatre space. A cool little bar to have a cheeky before the show, and then sitting right up close and personal with the actors, it's hard to fault. I loved the show, and love the general location. It's generally vibrant and alive right up until late, also Dave whilst being interesting.

The heart of independent theatre & performance in the city! Great vibe, cool bar & plenty of performances to see all year round!! Do yourself a favour & check them out, while supporting your local Perth indie artists!!

My partner and I hired the bar space for our engagement party recently, and can highly recommend this venue for your event hire. From the first enquiry, Mitch looked after every aspect of our booking, and gave us heaps of flexibility on the format and style of the night. On the night, Scott & Charlotte did a fantastic job of making sure us and our guests were well looked after. Afterwards, we had some dishes that we needed to leave behind, which we arranged to pick up the next day. We were pleasantly surprised that the staff had washed them for us and had them packed ready to go. The service here is fantastic! The venue itself is an awesome option for an alternative style event. It has a great vibe, with good drink prices and a nice selection of beverage options. Highly recommend!

Seeing Where Water Once Was, on at The Blue Room…I had a great experience. Lovely, ambient, intimate kind of place with different independent, excellent plays on for every one. The bar is very quaint but provides a good range of drinks with a happy and helpful bar man Matt. Receptionist lovely too. This place is in a great spot with easy access to parking that after 6pm is free in the big underground parking under the State Library Theatre. There’s plenty of places around to eat, vegan, Indian, pretzels 27/7 convenience shops and sushi. The place was just right in temperature too with it being rather cold outside. Love this theatre ❤️🙏🏻 in the heart of Northbridge

This place has grown into a gorgeous space for new theatre works and lesser known artists. Lovely little bar inside, and the building has kept its original character. They also still support innovative performances that try something new like The Lion Never Sleeps, an audio performance tour of Northbridge in the 1980s during the AIDs crisis.

I loved the experience of " my night at " Unbound" showing at The blue room. The team of Devisors, performers and production have worked so well together as a magnificent team to put together such a " different" and entertaining performance. You can see why it was polished from three years in the making 👏😁

Could not recommend this theatre more to our beautiful city. We are so lucky to have such an inclusive venue with such a warm safe space. I had gone there for the first time on my own, I am autistic so it is very hard for me; I had fears I wouldn’t see the show due to overstimulation but because of the staffs attitude, the warm atmosphere & safe space provided I was able to enjoy my first night out in a very long time. Thank you BlueRoom Theatre 💙
