Fantastic is what I would say, the staff from coming in to leaving were wonderful. The nurses and staff on the ward were so friendly and caring and even the cleaners to kitchen staff lovely. And the food was restaurant quality, only thing I didn't like was the surgery, the hospital and staff you are all amazing. Thank you for taking such good care of me, and a big cheers from my husband you made him feel so welcomed when he came in.

Absolutely disgusted at how my 17 year old daughter was treated on her overnight stay last week on 9/9/2020. Her first time in hospital since birth...to have tonsils out. Night nurse no compassion and told her to check her mental health as her being so upset not Normal. Then following morning sent home without pain medication. As we live an hour south she ended up in local hospital the following night all night as her pain was so severe. Couldn't be more disappointed at her treatment. And all this considering we have the best private health cover. Very angry parent

RAT tested and masked up and only one parent can be with their child during surgery. Surely the risk is so low that there wouldn't be the need to ask a child to choose who they want with them. It has become so idiotic.

My very first surgical procedure to have some wisdom teeth extracted. I was very nervous and anxious. The staff were nothing but amazing, from admission to surgery then discharge. I was well looked after and felt safe and comfortable.

Coronary Care Unit staff were respectful. Good care taken of my husband. Great facility to have special secured unit here in Bunbury. Disabled parking bays available close by. Cafe also available on site.

I had my first major operation this week, and I cannot fault the nurses and doctors care throughout my stay. Regular checking if Iโ€™m in any pain, uncomfortable or feeling ill. The level of care and compassion given has been well over expectations. Being a catholic/christian private hospital, I was offered any religious care, and was not pressured to accept. They didnโ€™t treat me any differently to those within the faith and I felt listened to and respected. The level of care towards my family and communication with them while I was in recovery was quick and unprompted, giving me comfort in knowing that my parents were aware that the surgery went well and according to plans. I honestly cannot recommend them enough.

My partner recently had a Hip Replacement and had a comfortable stay. Covid restrictions were minimal re visitations. I also had a planned Cesarian a while back and recall this being resort style.

I don't care what anyone says, the staff at St.Johns Bunbury,in particular Oncology, are excellent and have nothing but high regard for them.If people don't like it go elsewhere.

Was a Patient a month ago. Not a very good experience at all. Felt like I was being shunted out the door well before I was able never mind ready. Was booked in for overnight stay and obviously due to being an older patient it was not deemed needed by hospital policy after Dr said I could go home that day if appropriate. Nurses were only doing there job as per hospital protocol. Filled in the follow up survey and told them I was not happy with how the hospital performed it,s duty of care. BIG mistake. Follow up phone call a month later from hospital and I was made to feel like it was all my fault for not informing staff who were pushing me out the door about how I was feeling. Does not matter that I had just had surgery. Big lack of communication between the staff and patient and patient support people Next time it is a Perth hospital or public at Bunbury regional even though it means a longer wait. Poor performance and would not recommend St John of God Bunbury.

I am a 70 year old woman and I had a serious operation there on 6 Sep 2017. The operation was very successful but the treatment I received from several nurses was very poor. I had post operative delirium and had a bad time. I was terrified but the nurses found my actions over which I had no control to be most amusing. Not one explained what was happening to me. My husband was my only support and even he was not aware of what was happening to me. Let this be a warning to baby boomers who might need an op. Be aware that this reaction can happern especially with the painkillers, etc. It is probably worth a trip to Perth if you cannot have your procedure done in Bunbury Regional Hospital which is very good. I have given one star for the other staff who were very good.Suggest the nurses need a refresher course on compassion. I received an apology from the CEO but would have preferred a face to face discussion with the nurses involved.

Excellent experience & outstanding care while admitted for day surgery today. From Admissions staff/Ortho registrar/Ortho surgeon๐Ÿ™Œ including great theatre staff/ward nurses all so caring, happy & efficient! Lovely clean room/bathroom. Very nice food served with a friendly smile. Big thank you to all St Johnโ€™s staff โค๏ธWe only ever hear about the negatives & you should all be so proud of your amazing, nursing care & professional attitude with patients.

I had the worst hospital experience here. My first was the night I was transferred and left to suffer without antibiotics that I had been assured would be there. The second was the taking of a sample for testing, and then being told for almost 48 hours after the sample was given, that I hadn't provided the sample. The third was when a nurse read my chart incorrectly and started me on oral antibiotics while I was still on IV antibiotics. I cannot fault Dr Azlan. A marvellous doctor and human being. The one thing this hospital has in its favour.

I went to the day unit for a procedure. The staff were so so lovely. Very warm, professional, caring. Although my time was brief, it was made very welcoming. Well done to the staff of the day unit xx

๐Ÿซค Attention Staff, Can't get over some nurses to patients, seem unprofessional, talk very rude and inconsiderate to patients, you must remember PATIENTS are very vunurable, and in A&E how dare you make my mother wait for a glass of water, 3 hours, yelled at my mother for her to wait 5 minutes because...
