This by far was the funniest thing I have done in the ocean! Being able to walk on the ocean floor was so.. out of this world! I couldn't stop smiling. The guide is awesome. He will point out different ocean life. He also was able to do some fun entertaining tricks underwater. Making it seem so easy. This helped me relax and really enjoy myself. I felt very safe. There was a safety diver close by the whole time. Another great thing about wearing the helmet is your hair stays dry so you can continue with your day of exploring when you are done. This experience was well worth the money. I will definitely be a return customer!

This is the most awesome excursion I've ever purchased. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. They were also thoroughly able to explain the sea trek underwater helmet so that we felt safe and comfortable. Once we signed some routine paperwork, we got onto a boat that took us from land to a deeper part of the ocean. There, we switched to another stationary boat. This boat had a ladder that took you about twenty feet down to the ocean floor. Once you had your sea trek helmet on, you climbed down a ladder that took you deeper and deeper underwater,. You did have to pop your ears several times before making it to the ocean floor, so it is not recommended for people with ear pressure issues. Also, there was a man with us that had a history of heart problems, and he was given a full refund and snorkel equipment to keep himself busy while we were underwater, but he was NOT allowed to participate by wearing the actual sea trek helmet without clearance from his doctor. While you were underwater, you could look around you and see beautiful fish, turtles, water snakes... it was amazing. The guide gave you fish food to attract schools of little colorful fish to you. He showed you some underwater animals. He also did tricks (like filling his helmet up completely with water and letting it drain or doing backflips). At the end of the tour, you were encouraged to jump up and down, as it is almost a zero gravity environment. You can squat down and jump SUPER high, and the helmet is about fifteen pounds, so it helps you gently return to the ocean floor. This tour was awesome. We took great underwater pictures. Also, you did it all without getting your hair or face wet... the helmet stops water from getting in. It continuously pumps oxygen, so you even feel BETTER after participating than you did before. All in all, this was a great, life-changing experience. I would pay double the price to do it again.

I was here October 23rd 2019 while on RCCL's Liberty of the Seas and since the friend I was on the cruise ship was not certified to SCUBA dive I opted for some SNUBA instead since, time underwater is time underwater in my book. It was really nice and the staff was very friendly, honestly I wish I could come down to the island and stay for a week or two and just see everything I can. My wife passed away in February of 2019 so this trip was of major importance for me, she was from Jamaica and that was the last stop after hitting Cozumel and then Georgetown. I talked with the staff after the dive and felt like they were very caring people, the time I spent there will be remembered forever. They have a great wreck that is right outside of the door. If you have never dived before and have always wondered about it try the SNUBA out, you will not regret it. And you will get to see some interesting aquatic life as well as learn a few skills that will be useful when the diving bug bites you.

Canโ€™t believe it was so easy when I thought that it was going to be difficult. I wouldnโ€™t trade that experience for anything and even lil kids were doing it! Staff on board and at the oceans floor 30 feet down were truly professionals and can make anyone feel comfortable. Great tricks and even let us do tricks.

A very unique experience compared to snorkeling or scuba diving. The staff was very friendly and entertaining. Not sure if I would do it again as you don't get to explore as much as you would scuba diving, but if you're not a swimmer or have never done it, I highly recommend it. One thing to keep in mind, you might not want to do it if you are claustrophobic or panic when going into water. Do not try and take deep breaths in the helmet as it will raise the water level which might scare you more.

There is a spot right by where you can see 4-5 tarpons feet off the sand, due to the chum the locals throw in the water from their catch of the day. Today I also saw a stingray! 5 minutes from the cruise port.

What an amazing experience!! Iโ€™ve tried scuba diving and just couldnโ€™t. Because this is a helmet, you donโ€™t need an air regulator in your mouth. The guides were great. We highly recommend this adventure and we will surely do it again!

Do it! Just do it! Unless you get freaked out by being 30 feet under the sea or fish. We took a Carnival cruise and chose the Sea Trek as one of our excursions, not sure exactly what to expect. As soon as you're off the water taxi from the boat you're steps away from where the excursion boat is located. This made our limited time on Grand Cayman island even more enjoyable as we didn't spend unnecessary time driving to our excursion. This was an unforgettable experience. Especially if you've never scuba dived before. Once you're in the water and firmly planted on their ladder located on the back of the boat they place a heavy helmet on you which provides you the oxygen you need. You then climb down the ladder until you're 30 feet down on the sea floor. You're guided by the crew the whole time and they make sure that everyone is doing ok. You'll see lots of fish and coral. This is an amazing experience and allows you to receive some of the benefits of scuba diving without having to actually scuba dive. Amazing.

My wife and I recently had the chance to take this underwater excursion in October and it was awesome. The crew was very helpful and took the time needed to help make this experience very fun and memorable. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Grand Cayman who wants to see the world from a different view.
