A wonderful sight to see! Get an up close look at these amazing and fascinating creatures, echinoderms! Whether viewing from above or beneath the surface these incredible stars of the sea with fill you with delight. Also spotted several small jellyfish in these shallows waters so watch closely and don't touch.

Although there are boat tours to Starfish Point, we decided to drive from West Bay. Definitely worth the drive! The water was absolutely beautiful. We saw at least a dozen or more starfish and there was a boat offering grilled food and drinks if you're hungry while there.

Absolutely gorgeous Beach, very clean, not a lot of seaweed. Star fish everywhere, you don't have to be on the charter boats. Breakers in the water allow for a calm beach. There are jellyfish in the water, so please be careful.

Great place to view starfish in their natural habitat, but be respectful and do not pull them out of the water. There are two ways to visit here. One is to drive up and park with a short little walk. Other way is to take it part of the stingray tour. We enjoyed time when we drove there and we were not rushed, which unfortunately is the case with the boat tours that only stop for 15 minutes. Also be careful there are jellyfish in the area and multiple people obtained mild jellyfish stings right in front of us.

Nice spot with some starfish that you can touch. Just don't take them out of the water, because that irritates them. I would probably not take a trip only for that; but as a stop after Stingray City, it's good.

Starfish Point is a little secret near Rum Point on Cayman. This hidden area is a gem if you want to swim in shallow sea and very easily sea loads of starfish. We easily saw a dozen in the little area of Starfish Point we made camp. There are trees to give you shade and some makeshift tables to sit and eat at. The recent addition of clean changing rooms and freshwater showers within the small car park means at the end of the day you can clean off before the drive home. There are multiple bars and restaurants nearby so that you can make a good day visit. If you have small children this is an ideal, safe place with plenty of interest to keep children entertained.

I love starfish point. The starfish can be seen so clearly close to the edge. The water is so clear. The beach is beautiful. I wouldn't come in the morning or late at night though the mosquitos are pretty bad.

Great experience, one of the must see in Cayman; you can join some fee-paying tours and come by boat or you can drive there yourself (just past Rum Point) as itโ€™s a nice public beach. Plenty of starfish just lying there peacefully on the shallow sanded seabed nearshore (water level is kneecap / ankle height); youโ€™re allowed to carefully pick them up and take pictures while gently handling them, but please do NOT take them out of the water and make sure theyโ€™re not flipped over when you put them back on the seabed, as you can pretty much kill them if you do that. Snorkeling here is not the best as thereโ€™s a lot of sea grass going all the way out from shore but nevertheless itโ€™s the best (if not the only) place to see starfish on the island.

Quiet cay with fine sand and calm, clear water littered with loads of starfish! Not much else to do except at the starfish and sunbathe but that's exactly how you want to start or end a day on the water.

Truely a beautiful area to visit. The water was clear, warm and the epitome of heaven. Every couple feet were different colours and sizes of star fish. Easily handled. Lots of parking and lots of area if you come by boat. Definitely a must see if you are in the area. An amazing place to relax!

This is a nice public beach which is famous for having starfish laying around on the sandy bottom. Many of the tour boats come to this spot, but if you are staying on the island you can easily drive to the location which has free parking and public restrooms with a changing area. You can easily spend a few hours here just hanging out on the beach. If you are on a cruise and take the boat tours, they arrive and stay for only 15-20 minutes normally which is plenty of time for starfish watching. We drove to the beach and during times when there were no boat tours, we only had about ten people on the beach so very quiet. When the boat tours come in, just get out of the water and watch the crowds for a few minutes then get back in the water. Itโ€™s not like the starfish get scared off!

Excellent drive out to Star fish point and its free. Very relaxing and quiet, great for everyone. Accessible for elderly, special needs/ disabled persons. Very suitable for a dog day our. We took our dog Rusty and he has a great dayout๐Ÿ˜. The last picture of us in the swings was a stop along the way on the Northiside road coming from the Queens Highway area. Do add this to your list of places to visit when visiting our Cayman Islands. Hope this review helps alot. Follow me on Instagram @345_islandrose for more info about the Cayman Islands ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡พ . Get there early before the crowds. We arrived at 9 and were the only people there. It was lovely to roam around in the water and spot the starfish. As people arrived via foot (after parking) and kayak we chatted with them and the vibe was very friendly. By 10:30 jetskis and motorboats started arriving and I could feel this small area getting overcrowded. Seeing other reviews mentioning party boats would really turn me off.

Shallow water where you can find many starfish, don't lift them out of the water for pictures, Starfish cannot breathe out of water, โ€œbeing exposed directly to the open air causes significant damage to its skin, even if you do it quickly. Finally, touching a starfish could expose it to compounds that might not be harmful to you but are harmful to its species. Sunscreens for example can be very toxic to starfish.โ€

We had a really good time and the snorkeling is fantastic. We had to go out a little farther to find starfish, but we did find them and they were huge! We also saw lots of fish and even a lobster! It was quiet and secluded, but it's also big enough that you could have a picnic with lots of people. There are bathrooms and a shower, which was nice after snorkeling in the salt water. I would definitely recommend this place!

Seriously surreal is the only way to describe swimming above starfish the size of dinner plates. I didn't Tanger them out of the water and hurt them... they can't breathe out of water...go enjoy and respect this natural habitat.

What a neat place! The parking is a short walk from the beach area, and the path is sand and fine pine needles so very comfortable. I would suggest that you bring water shoes because there are scattered Sea Urchins, otherwise not bad. All to most of the starfish are at wading depth, so a snorkel is not needed. I brought one and saw a few fish out a bit deeper. I rated it 4/5 stars because it gets a bit crowded when all of the tourist boats are there. Overall, great place!!
