Very nice place. The turtles are huge! Lots of fun things to do, for adults and kids: you can feed turtles ($5/bag; a bag is huge, so one is enough), pet small turtles, snorkel with them (there could be like 15 turtles around you), watch crocodile feeding, turtle feeding and shark feeding. And you can relax on chairs on the small "beach", or go to a restaurant. We had a very nice day spent. The highlight was snorkeling and feeding/petting. This is probably #2 thing to do around the island after Stingray City. You can get there by bus, $2.5 per person. When going back, walk north to the next big intersection (7 min walk), you will catch a bus there much faster.

It was good. We spent about 5hrs here. PROS: TONS of turtles, duh...ranging from all sizes...you had different tanks and opportunities to interact, learn about, ans swim. CONS: Algae was too much to swim in...yes algae us a good sign of good habitat, but not when you can't see through it and brown. Otherwise we ate lunch, which was surprisingly good. Predator tank has two sharks (nurse, I think) couple large tarpon, and a barracuda. Bird sanctuary was ok. All small areas required a mask...which I thought was idiotic...since we were all required a negative test to be in the country. My kids were 17,15, 12. Get only one bag of treats for feeding large turtles..plenty. Gift shop was affordable for cayman rates.

An amazing place to spend your day with kids or without. Different packages offered and would recommend getting the package that allows you to snorkel with the turtles. Also has a pool and water slide for kids to enjoy. Better to start early and then relax on the beach area and also has restaurant on site to eat at. Be sure to note the timings of the feedings and activities. Also has small butterfly area and aviary, but not much to see. They have information center with a video and lots of information about turtles which is a good break to enjoy.

I can’t say enough about the property and the interactions we had. A beautiful lagoon filled with sea life including dozens of sea turtles. You can don snorkel and mask and essentially swim in an aquarium. We arrived early and had the place to our selves. Having such a close up view of tropical fish and sea turtles will likely be a core memory as it was such a great experience.

Great experience to learn about turtles and their habitat. This was an excellent hands on experience for our 10 year old. He enjoyed interacting with turtles in their large lagoon. There are holding tanks you can walk into and touch the smaller turtles. You can also feed them. Take a GoPro camera so you can take pics and videos of the turtles and the variety of fish in the lagoon. The snorkeling and water park areas were amazing. This is a place we'd definitely return to.

Great educational centre and lots of opportunities to interact with the turtles. Very affordable excursion as well. The only negative I had was that we saw many visitors not being respectful of the rules, such as washing up before touching the turtles, so as not to cross contaminate. Also, during the snorkel with turtles in the lagoon, we witnessed some snorkelers chasing and cornering the turtles in an attempt to touch them. Otherwise, it was a fun outing.

Excellent choice for a family. There's a few things to do here, not just looking at turtles. They have a crocodile on site. They also allow you the ability to swim/snorkel with the turtles and other fishes. There is a mini beach area and splash pad. There's a restaurant on site, however I read the food was okay so we decided to eat off-site. They had a butterfly observatory. However it was not butterfly season, so we did not see any. There was also a bird observatory. It was a very cool experience. Everyone was friendly. Took time to educate us and the kids really really enjoyed it. I will definitely go back and participate in the swimming with the turtles. Also if you took a cruise to the Caymans it's way cheaper to catch a taxi there and pay for your ticket at the center. The cruise charges hundreds as an excursion, and it's just a $8 taxi and $20 ticket at the door. And across the street is a dolphin observatory as well.

Loved seeing all the turtles of all sizes. You can even touch them in the wading pool! My family had fun feeding the birds at the bird area. The predator pool had a nice spot where you can view the fish swimming past the glass.

We explored the Turtle Center as part of the excursion on our cruise. We enjoyed the park very much! But had to give a special shout out to Tony our tour guide. He did a great job explaining the facility and how they help the turtles year round. He was very funny and kind! There were two different places to eat but we ate the bigger place in the park. It was lunch type foods with a bar. We were able look at the VERY large turtles and then enter into small tanks with smaller turtles. There was an area to snorkel and a few other activities but we didn’t do any of those. Would be a fun place to bring kids!

Excellent place to spend the day with the family. They have different fees based on the activities that you are interested in. There are restaurants at the turtle center with decent prices. You are allowed to touch some of the turtles in the smaller ponds. You can also snorkel (if part of your package) to see the turtles and fish. The water is not deep and it's very safe for children. There is also a bird and butterfly sanctuary at the center, where you get to feed the birds and see beautiful butterflies up close. It's definitely a place worth visiting if you are in the Cayman Islands.

A neat place to visit they are all about the turtles. Though they do have a bird and butterfly Avery . They have paces where you can pet them and if you pay extra you can swing with them. For the lower entry fee you can wade in a small tank and pet them also. Surprisingly the gift shop is not over priced things were actually the same price or lower than other places we look at. It is a little run down but I feel like they are doing a good job of education and helping the population of turtles grow. It is a good way to help out a good cause and experience some neat stuff.

Snorkeling with the turtles was the most amazing experience. Worth every penny! The only sad thing was the turtles forced to be in small enclosures that clearly didn't want to be there so people had them trapped to touch. If you want to touch them pay extra to snorkel with them. It's unfair to keep them trapped! Lots of learning while there too. Babies to breeding age. Amazing!

Turtles are so cool. Lots to see and touch and swim with. Only reason it's just a 4 is that they really seem to be missing more of the informational aspect. They do so much great work but outside a little "information center" it's mostly non-existent. I think plenty of people would want to learn more too, not just splash on a water slide.

Wow! Book this before you go. Pricing was incredibly reasonable and the Centre is beautiful and educational! We loved it all! The turtles, sharks, the restaurant, the gift shop, everything!!! We came in from the port and took the public bus for $2.50 USD each. Dropped us off and picked us up right in front of the Centre.

Had a really nice time at the Cayman Islands turtle center. Here you can see turtles of all different ages from baby to adult. You have a chance to snorkel with the turtles They also have a nice restaurant to grab a bite to eat

We visited last week while our cruise ship was in port. We took a public bus ($2.50 USD per person) which was about a 20-25 minute ride from the port. We really enjoyed our time here, though wish we would've had more. We felt a little underwhelmed at the other animal exhibits besides the turtles, but understand that's not their focus. The snorkeling experience with the turtles was great and worth the price of admission on its own. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful. We tried the restaurant on site and thought the service was great!

Not what. I was expecting but we still had a great time. We've snorkled with stingrays before and we're sectioned off to a small part of the beach. This experience was totally different. The Turtle tanks are located in an outdoor type aquarium. I was a little grossed out at first, but I quickly got used to it and glad I went. The turtles are sweet/gentle and will swim right up to you for pets.

Amazing experience. Totally worth it if you are on the island especially if you like turtles. You can swim with them, touch the little ones in the pool. It is a kid friendly experience. They offer snorkels at no extra charge. There is a water park for the kids. Really good experience!

The Cayman Turtle Centre is a great for families. We stopped in during a cruise and loved it. You can swim with the animals, feed birds, even stand in the baby turtle tanks and pet them as they swim by. There is a restaurant on site that offers beverages (including alcohol) and food. They have a very nice gift shop with reasonable prices too

Loved it, have been several times in the last 21 years. It only gets better. Swimming with Turtles is the best and of course chasing Heihei! The food is great, there is plenty for everyone of all ages to see and do. Highly recommend this adventure

Fun place to visit. The food was good and the staff was helpful. We loved the turtles and we're excited to return as soon as we are able to. Our "exit through the gift shop" went better than expected. One guest said it was the most reasonably priced gift shop he had seen and I agreed.

It was such an awesome experience! I started my time there swimming in turtle bay. The attendant there was very helpful and nice. Then I dried off and explored the other areas of the park. I learned so much about the turtles, the crocodile, sharks, and birds you take care of at the centre! I would definitely visit again when I come back to Cayman.
