Owned by the friendliest guy in town, this place has excellent gyros. If you get the chickpea salad, you'll be treated to a delicious "House Secret" sauce/vinaigrette. The portions are generous, and meat is tender and well-seasoned. I sampled the chicken shawarma, and highly recommend it.

Saw the perfect 5 star reviews and got intrigued, have to say it’s MORE than deserved. The fries were perfectly crispy and the special sauce was great. The tzatziki sauce was the best I’ve ever had, actually killer. All in all the food was bussin, the prices are reasonable, and Ali is that guy, super nice. Go here ASAP !!

I ordered through chomp two days ago, and went in person for take out today. The food was *that* good! Both times I got the gyro and kebab. So much food! Amazing flavors and textures! I'll be back!

Food is AMAZING!!! But the service is even better, they are so kind and welcoming. I stopped by randomly and I'm going to come back for more as much as possible. The Shwarma combo is amazing and the sauce they use on their fries is to die for :) You should def come check this spot out.

Owner is awesome, I recommend the Gyro and fries, it’s a pretty decent deal especially since you get a lot of food. Meat is very juicy and there’s ton of flavor! His secret sauce he puts on the fries and stuff is to die for, I told him he should start selling some in bottles for people because I’d love to use it for just about anything! Do not pass up on this place, he also has cheese curds too. Note: Please bring cash, help out our small businesses :)

I ate there when it first open. I ended up amazed of how good the gyro he cooked for me was. I have had gyros but none like the one I had that night. It was that good that I even ask him to cook me another one haha. This is a place everyone should try!

We drove from Cedar Rapids to come try this very delicious food. The service was beyond excellent and it was very quick. We hope to get to try everything on the menu soon. The chickpea salad was perfect with a little bit of spice to it. And the gyro meat was well seasoned and cooked just right. Highly recommended!

This place rocks! The food is so tasty. They have their signature sauce which is out of this world. I went their couple times and it gets better every time. I love their gyro.

Come and support this wonderful man. The food is tasty and unique to Iowa City. The cheese curds are a pleasant surprise. They are very good and differ from typical fried curd.

I went with my son because I had heard that this place was good. We arrived, looked at the menu and ordered chicken shawarma, a gyro sandwich and mixed kabob. I don't know if it was because the counter guy heard me talking about the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen or what but my chicken shawrarma was a tortilla with pieces of dry chicken and nothing else. The gyro had no sauce at all and the mixed kabob was ok. We were not impressed.
