This was my first time at Pancheros. It was not a great experience to say the least. The restaurant was relatively clean. However, one of the big problems was with the service. The workers messed around in the middle of making our food and did not make eye contact at all. When they finally did talk to the customers they mumbled and didn't listen well, leaving myself and others having to repeat things often. In addition to the staff's behavior, the food portions were way miniscule compared to the pictures on the menu and upon biting into it some of the food was cold and underdone. These are the key things that define a fast food service. If you aren't at least able to show a good service then be able to make your food correctly. Some of the workers I was referring to are in the third picture.

This by far the worst one I’ve been to. CF is much better. I still go here every now and then because I like the food but it’s about a 50/50 shot that they have all the ingredients that you want. Well today was it for me. They didn’t bother mixing the ingredients with the tool they’re provided with. They just used the wrapping to move it around a bit. I get home and about 3/4 the way through my burrito I have a 3/4 inch bone jammed in the roof of my mouth. I will never go back to that location and will discourage everyone I see from going there as well.

My first time coming to Pancheros left a lot to be desired. On a positive note, the size of the burrito was great, it is inexpensive, and they have a wide selection of toppings to choose from. Unfortunately, the burrito was only warm at best. The staff also looked completely out of it and nobody seemed excited to work there.

My family of 5 was there October 28th 2023 at 630 pm and all the lights were off except the kitchen lights and the air was on. It was already very cold that night and we were dining in along with several other tables there being sat at. We ate almost our entire meal with no lights on and wearing our winter coats and about 10 minutes before we left one of the workers came and turned on a couple lights, not all of them. They clearly were trying to appear closed and attempting to get nobody to dine in if they did manage to come in. There was no ice and no lids for the cups. Its hit or miss if cedar falls or Waterloo is gonna be the better choice. They get worse and worse every time we go there.

Ordered & paid online, was quoted 15 min. Arrived to be told my 2 items would be a 45+ min wait. No rice, chicken, carnitas, or guacamole prepared. I got about 2 bites of the last remaining steak on an order I paid for double meat. Restaurant was nearly empty and dirty, and staff had long beautiful hair hanging over my food while preparing it. Refunds or honest online ordering wait times were not an option.

Came to this particular location while on vacation. I ordered online 10 minutes in advance. Upon arrival, my order had not been started yet, defeating the purpose of ordering online. Several other people were also waiting for food. After waiting another 10 minutes, we got our food. Sides of rice were not filled- I asked if they could fill more and they did. Also out of guacamole (main reason I came, bummer) but subbed out for beans. We decided to eat in restaurant since we were starved and had to wait so long. Employees were nice, but were all young and very immature. Looked stoned and out of it. They were running in and out of restaurant and to the establishment next door while we were eating. Talking on the phone behind the food counter. Food tasted good though, no complaints on that. Wish we would have went elsewhere. Had I known, I would not have ordered online, but was stuck since I already paid. Would not recommend coming to this location at all. Looks like other reviewers had similar experience.

Some of the workers were polite, but my burrito tasted like bong water. I double and triple checked to make sure I wasn't just smelling one of the workers. I threw it in the trash after one bite and went to Applebee's. Grossest food experience I've had to date.

I ordered a chicken quesadilla and this is what it looked like. They burnt the tortilla and hardly put any cheese in it. *update* (after a handful of bites, I found a long hair in my food which obviously ruined my appetite.) I also got a burrito which also had a burnt tortilla. They were low and almost out of all the toppings and instead of getting more, they barely put anything on my burrito. The guacamole looked like it had been sitting out for days. I can see from other reviews that this has been an issue for quite some time but there has not been anything done about it. Sad to see one of my favorite places going down the drain.

Both managers apparently are off by like 4, leaving the night employees to pretty much do whatever they want. And whatever they want is to stop making any new ingredients give hours before closing which constantly leaves them out of popular ingredients, sometimes out of several ingredients. Employees are inattentive, and don't care. I was showing one employee the order on my phone and before I had pulled it up, he just walked away from me. It took me three days to get a refund for an online order because the managers are only there for the first half of the day. Don't recommend. Used to be my favorite place but has rapidly gone downhill in quality the past few months. Don't online order, don't even go here, go to the one in Cedar Falls if you want Pancheros.

Went to the store at 7:20ish on 09/10/23, they were out of steak, the chicken and every other ingredients looked extremely old and were cold, the night "manager" started putting ingredients on without asking, they didn't mix up the ingredients at all. The Night "manager" said they were preping and closing but the store does not close until 11pm. The staff was rude and before they even put the dough for the burritos down one guy looked at the manager and said "im not serving that" and went and got different dough because the dough they had out was bad. Worst 28 dollars ever spent, do not go to this store unless you want rude, inconsiderate service and cold, old food. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with food poisoning.
