The
Tasting
Room
(TR)
blended
the
tradition
of
a
private
cigar
lounge
with
the
accessibility
and
approachability
of
a
public
'All
are
welcome'
cigar
lounge.
Between
the
sleek
rustic
modern
interior
with
many
different
gathering
nooks
to
the
spacious
outdoor
patio
The
Tasting
Room
had
all
the
amenities
a
cigar
fan
would
want.
TR
had
a
large,
well
organized
and
well
humidified
humidor.
I
had
the
pleasure
of
working
with
Bob,
a
fellow
Chicago
native,
as
we
talked
through
the
different
tasting
notes
and
style
of
cigar
I
was
looking
for
that
evening.
To
which
Bob
recommended
the
E.P.
Carrillo
Pledge,
which
has
been
named
the
#1
Cigar
of
2020
and
the
#11
Cigar
of
2022.
Fantastic
Smoke.
Not
only
did
the
TR
have
great
customer
service
but
their
ventilation
systems
were
top
of
the
line.
Not
once
was
I
concerned
that
my
dress
attire
was
going
to
be
overly
pungent
with
the
smell
of
smoke.
As
a
individual
who
seeks
out
the
best
cigar
lounges
to
enjoy
a
cigar
in
the
midst
of
a
brutal
Midwest
winter,
TR
impressed
me
in
all
that
it
had
to
offer.
TR
felt
like
a
higher
end
private
club
without
the
stuffy
atmosphere.
If
you're
a
cigar
fan
and
looking
for
a
great
place
to
come
have
a
stick
I
would
highly
recommend
adding
TR
to
your
list.
One
thing
is
for
certain,
I
will
be
a
repeat
customer
when
in
town.
