This was our very 1st visit and we were quite impressed we sat outside on a wonderful Saturday evening had great drinks and food so we will be returning the service was also very good

This was my second time coming here. My first time was during a trip to Colorado. We stopped here for lunch, I chose to eat a burger, usually a safe choice at a new restaurant. It was the best burger I've ever had. This is the second time I've eaten there now, and I made a 5 hour trip just to go there (yes the burger was that delicious) I chose to get a pork chop this time, to see how they do with other foods. Every bit of my taste buds were in heaven when eating this pork chop. The gravy made it savory and juicy, the pork chop was just the right amount of spice, it made the gravy taste even better, and then to top it off the side was mashed sweet potatoes, adding in that sweet taste. What's even more surprising about this place is that the price is fair. I would've paid 10 dollars more for my pork chop and been happy with it. Because of this it gives me a better ability to give a high tip . If you are in the vicinity of this place it's almost a must go to restaurant.

I love this place. Service was great and attentive. Mia wanted us there and to have a great experience. The Sweet Corn Dip (Seasonal Special) was rich, perfect cool dip to get us started. I love the Satay Sampler. Think Hibachi Grill. Shrimp, chicken and beef done to perfection. The wasabi mix was perfect under the meat. The Nay’s Pasta was rich and creamy. Excellent. Well done

The food was good. The sirloin I ordered was an unusual cut, but it was well seasoned and cooked correctly. Everyone in my group of 10 enjoyed the food and the service was very good. The parking lot is small. So don't let the overflow parking on the street deter you from going inside.

The food here is Amazing! It’s the most perfect atmosphere if you want to relax and watch a game without the chaos and fast pace of a Buffalo Wild Wings or if you simply want to have a fine date it suits you well for that too! Servers are wonderful but it can be a significant wait at times! I would still recommend for any and all!

My family and I have been a big fan of BlackStone for years, but our most recent experience was more than disappointing in several ways. We ordered carry out and I got the bratwurst burger which is a favorite of mine. When I got home with the food and took my first bite of the burger was cold, and not just cold because it was carry out but frigid cold. Took one look and the bratwurst Pattie’s were entirely raw inside. As you can imagine that was the end of my meal there. The next day I decided to email BlackStone to let them know about the experience and sent them the same images I will use on this review. My main concern is that they need to address this to their kitchen staff to make sure it doesn’t happen again. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for over a decade and realize these things happen, and just wanted the issue addressed. I wasn’t expecting a refund but it would have been nice considering I didn’t get to eat my rather expensive food. But the worst part of the whole experience in its entirety, was the fact that I received no response. It’s been almost 2 months since the initial email with a follow up about 3 weeks ago. No response. Nothing. So I’ll never be giving them my business ever again, and plan on actively informing anyone I know potentially considering eating there, to maybe consider other options. Really a shame.

Food was good. I had the bratwurst burger, it was delicious. We also ordered the saganaki, which was good but having had this at authentic Greek restaurants didn't quite live up to my expectations. Needed some fresh herb, lemon or pita

Food & service was excellent. The brat burger and chicken sandwich were a great option for my son and me.

The food is amazing, well worth the price, had appetizers, soup large meals and dessert and took home enough for another meal. Very pleased with the staff and the atmosphere was very calming, romantic and classy. The strawberry cocktail was delicious!

Really neat place, food came out fast and very good. Only had appetizers. Server was prompt until we wanted the tab. Overpriced menu IMO.

We stopped for lunch. I had the special corn chowder and fish tacos. Everything was amazing I ate it before I realized I hadn't taken any pics of anything. Next time for sure. My son got the half sandwich half soup, soup being chicken tortilla. Portion size was perfect for me being a large individual, fat guy, but your average lunch diner will struggle I'm sure of it. Bottom line: little pricey but was worth it cause we knew going in it was higher end grub!

Amazing food and drinks! Food is really well seasoned and drinks are top notch! Our server Gracie was very sweet too. Definitely coming back here and highly recommend!

Food was really good we had been putting off going and regret not trying sooner. There are very few options on this side of Iowa City . Even better that it's not a restaurant chain

Best service, we had a party of about 15-20 people, kids and adults very overwhelming group. We where celebrating our small wedding. Waiter was amazing, she was friendly, fast, helpful , patient, respectful I can’t say enough. Drinks where on point food delicious. She literally made us feel like home. Best dining experience. Black stone made or wedding day special. We are so grateful for the wonderful.

I enjoyed the French onion soup, it was delicious! It was good with football and beer! Our server was very nice, Grace, I think.

Adam was super helpful and great service. Food was amazing. I had pork-chop, and it was huge and seasoned amazing. Mashed potatoes was so good. My kids loved the old faithful burger and the clam chowder.

I've never been here or heard of it before, but 10 out of 10 will be coming back!! The food was absolutely amazing, you can tell they put a lot of care into the dishes they make. So. Much. Flavor! Everything was fresh and homemade, and the cocktails were great too! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed - wonderful service too.

Food and service were amazing, both 5/5. Their chef curates specials every month and the pineapple upside down cake literally made me tear up. I wasn’t very hungry when we entered but I finished everything because it was so good. They definitely know what they’re doing.

Hadn't been here for a couple years. Still a great place, with a great atmosphere. Our waiter was superb. The Rasberry Lemon Drop Martini was on point. Personally, I like the dinner menu better than the brunch, I think it's the first time I've ever been there early enough for the latter. My daughter loved the mac n cheese.
