9-11-2021 Popped in here for afternoon drinks & appetizer. Great laid back Irish atmosphere. Cheese curds & mushroom appetizers did not disappoint!

Fantastic Irish tavern with great food and cold drinks. Authentic decor and a true cozy feel. Always a favorite and a good recommendation to eat or just stop in for a beer.

Irish pub that's been at that location since the 1930's. I stopped in for lunch and sat in the bar, friendly bar tender, but slightly sleepy on the Saturday, but seemed to be more lively on the patio. Ok, now for the important news, probably the best Rueben I have ever had, they absolutely nailed it

Always a good time. Staff was attentive, drinks were great and reasonably priced. We'll be back!

Had to have a pork tenderloin while in Davenport and wanted to try a new spot and not only did they have a lot of good items on the menu they were very well priced. The pork tenderloin was so good from the pork to the fry to the seasoned breading. Def a nice place to stop for a drink or a meal, bartender was very personable too.

This is a nice tavern with great food. Looks like original woodwork and floors. Restrooms are clean too. Servers and bartenders are nice and funny. It’s a great place to relax and get together. They have great food and don’t get in a hurry. Sit long, talk much, and laugh often.

Got to love the mac and cheeseburger plate. We got the Macs mac and cheese to go its the best around......good music, full bar and plenty of tvs.....there also is a covered smokers patio that you can take your drink out with you.....A+

Mac’s is a great little Irish pub that has been around for over 80 years. I would say that it has stood the test of time! It’s a laid back atmosphere. They have Mac’s themed different types of mac&cheeses and a full menu that included some super flavorful wings, burgers and traditional foods like Irish stew and bangers and mash. I had a bacon and Gouda stuffed burger with whiskey battered onion rings, along with a Clock House hazy IPA. I would 100% get that again. The cook brought our food out to the table hot and fresh. Our waitress was friendly and considered that a party of 5 walked in right after us (just two), so she made sure to get our order in first. Look forward to our next visit to Mac’s.

Went on a Wednesday night. Good crowd but mostly college age. Drink prices are good. Four of us dropped in for my son's birthday and the owner gave him a shot. I will stop back in.

Divey, in a good way. Not a lot of natural light, so it's easy to lose track of time. The music playing over the sound system seemed more to match the bartender's taste than the customers' vibe. Everyone we've talked to raves about their food. We just had their fries, and they were hot, crisp, and tasty.

Recommended for having the best wings in town and I agree. Also serve top notch burgers. The bartender took great care of us. He suggested the chorizo queso and it was amazing.

Wings and fries were top notch! Very tender meat and the fries had the perfect amount of crunch. Mac and Cheese was good. Nothing to special though.

Second time I have visited this place while on a little trip. These people are just fabulous. It is an old fashioned place. Laid back. I love it

One of the beat burgers and mac in cheese in the quad cities. The mac and cheese was ooey and gooey with great flavor. The burger patties are BIG and some of the best quality in the quad cities. The bun was grilled with tons of cheese added. What an amazing meal. 10000% recommend for anyone wanting good food. The place has a hole in the wall feel but who cares when you get food and service this great.

What a great place for a bowl of hearty soup, a filling salad, and a tasty burger. Of course, there is a great selection of drinks too. Our server was helpful, prompt, and appropriately entertaining and conversational. The high ceiling and large bar make for a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended for food and drink.

Voted best Spin-Dip, Mac & Cheese, and Wings in the QC. By Me. Honestly, it is hard to run a wing special week in and week out while still putting out quality food.. But Mac's does it. Every. Single. Time. I strongly suggest the Jamaican Jerk or Ragin Cajun Wings. Great Drink menu and prices. Hardworking and friendly staff! Check em out!

Happened to randomly find this place this past Wednesday and came to found out it was Wing Wednesday and all wings were 85 cents. Tried the raspberry honey mustard sauce and the garlic parmesan AND let’s just say I’m not even one to order wings at a restaurant but these were delicious and I left thinking about the next sauces I’ll try next. It was about 6pm when we went and we ended up taking the last seat… it got packed quickly so just a heads up. Our waitress was super welcoming too.

First time traveling through Davenport and was in search of a good place to eat. I loved the atmosphere of the place and our waiter was very attentive and kind and was great with recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back in the future and will definitely recommend this place to others!

Absolutely above board. Great environment. People friendly. Great food and drinks. I highly recommend for in town or outta town folks. A Davenport must see and do.

The service here was incredible, honestly the best bartender I've ever had. He was so attentive and knew what we needed before we even asked. The food here is always so good, even the leftovers were good! Cheap beers, good times, great service, what more could you ask for ?

Historic local pub with above average food. The Reuben and the chicken wings are some of the best in the Quad Cities. Quick service with dirt cheap prices.

Awesome bartender, great atmosphere. Loved having the space in the back room for a private birthday party.
