🫤 Great school all around but what lowers it so much is they're financial aid staff. They are hands down the most uncaring idiotic and incompetent group of workers I have ever seen. They don't answer your questions helpfully they are so smug. I wasn't able to get a loan because they lost my high schoo... People often mention school, students,

Great school all around but what lowers it so much is they're financial aid staff. They are hands down the most uncaring idiotic and incompetent group of workers I have ever seen. They don't answer your questions helpfully they are so smug. I wasn't able to get a loan because they lost my high school transcript so my account can't get awarded. Then they tell me they have it but don't take it off my to do list. I don't know if they don't care about theur jobs or they're just stupid but if you need financial aid either go elsewhere or make sure you you let them know you will not be dealing with their incompetence.

One of ICC's biggest downfalls would have to be their financial aid staff! They are very inconsiderate. The 5 times I've been in the office I have yet to see anyone there with a welcoming, "I'm ready to assist you attitude." You can complete everything correct on your part and they will still screw you over at the end and give you attitude as if it's not their problem. Everyone there should be retrained with an emphasis on EMPATHY! The teachers are satisfactory. Not great, not well, just satisfactory.

This school should receive a F for failure to accommodate dyslexic students. It is unbelievable that an educational institution has absolutely no understanding of what it takes for students with learning disabilities. Those disabilities could be any type of dyslexia's such as dysphonetic, dysgraphic, or dyseidetic. Dyslexia is typically co-morbid which can include but not limited to ADHD/ADD, CAPD, memory disorder, oculomotor, etc. I am a Dyslexic Specialist and a mother of a dyslexic and I researched and toured Illinois colleges and found that most colleges will do what it takes for a student to succeed. A mother of one of my previous students recently reached out and shared her experience with Illinois Central College and I was mortified to hear that after 2 years of completing an associate level and entering into her PTA program they will absolutely not give her some needed accommodations. This student has various types of dyslexia as well as executive function weakness and CAPD and the mom was advocating for word banks during test taking due to word retrieval difficulties and the schools response was, "no, there aren't any word banks in the real world. " You have got to be kidding me. Have you ever heard of Google. We have a word banks at our fingertips at all times. In the real world we learn through experiences and repetition. Standardized testing is archaic. This is no thoughtfulness to give Standardized tests. It is not representative of who we are as a whole person. Please send a message to this college that excluding 20% of our dyslexic population is unacceptable.

This school is awful. Most of the instructors are not supportive, they are short, they don't help, and it's like they try to set you up for failure. And if you sign up for online classes, the instructors barely help and/or don't even respond to emails. Most of the staff here acts like you're an inconvenience. They are extremely rude. I don't know how this school is still running. Staff, instructors, the school as a whole is a terrible example of an organization. This place is a f#@%ing disaster.

IT Dept has some really good people that care about students. The IT Dept is great. The enrollment office, admissions office, and other academic support staff often couldn't care less and are just mostly downright rude and/or incapable. One gets the feeling that the enrollment office is tired of dealing with college-age youth... but then if that's the case, and if they can's support the mission, they need to leave their line of work. If you need to get an associate's in technology field, though, the curriculum is good to go and the professors willing to help motivated students.

They have amazing Photography and Graphic Design programs that are their best kept secret, with new high-end studios and mac computers. I took ALL photo and design classes I could while I was there. I have transferred to a four year school now, but I miss ICC so much! The teachers at ICC were the nicest people, unlike at my current university... I wish ICC offered Bachelor's.

Racist School, I don't recommend! I took a class that had one other african american guy in it. We both fail. Everyone in the class was over 5 minutes late every single day except for me. I got intouch with the HR Department and waited for a response because I was looking to get some of my tuition reimbursed back to me because one of their instructors was teaching way too many classes. Someone from HR Department called me in A fast food drive thru while ordering food, and said she's busy and will call me back. I never heard from that school again. Scam for profit school!

Amazing professors and a quality administration. It made my time here fly by. Not to mention how much they help their students succeed. Highly recommend.

Great faculty at reasonable tuition. Working on a cert or 4-year degree, makes sense to go to ICC.

It is still quiet- for now. Very good educational standards. Great & friendly staff. There is one dean in particular who is spineless, but the rest of the administration is top notch.

Can't say one way or the other, since I was just driving across the campus to get to the performing arts theater.

this school is very nice. good-> they have free tutors to help you, I passed chemistry and english because of them ->awesome library (but the students can be trashy and noisy, ITS A LIBRARY FOR GOODNESS SAKE) ->if you want a nice experience on your learning, ask peers about good professors, look at Rate My Professor and read EVERYTHING no kidding because most of them are true, but take it with a grain of salt ->VERY cold campus, we arent penguins please take note of that needs improvement-> their organizations, the school is just too boring to me, where are the organizations at?! -> some rooms kinda smell like old carpet, its an odd smell -> the cafeteria is MAD expensive, I never buy stuff there, they serve good wholesome foods but, come on, its general knowledge that college students are broke, why offer a meal for 4 bucks
