What an amazing place to come. So many things to learn here about our country. Salt, gypsum, grain to be exported. Plus history to be learnt.

History displays at Pinky Point are very interesting. I enjoyed the lookout with telescope for looking at the local seabirds. Note that the telescope mounting does not suit people shorter than 160cm for looking at the close islets. I suggest bring your own binoculars. The Encounter Coastal trail is an easy ( i.e. flat) walk but it is exposed so it can be hot or cold or windy.

Great little spot for a quick stop. Thereโ€™s a telescope for you to view out and onto the jetty. Next to a salt plant so was interesting to see and the history info displayed.

Beautifully presented Mosaic lighthouse. So well done by the Community. The area is very nice to lookout over both Ceduna and the Bay, and also the Thevanard shipping wharf. Recommend a visit.

Great spot to view Murat Bay and the Port of Thevenard. Plenty of info about the area and in particular the wreck of the Eleni K ship.

Unique Mosaic lighthouse. You could also use the telescope to see the water views and seabirds. Very windy that time, I think I won't picnic there.

I am here from Sydney for work, so didnt look beforehand to see what was here. Well what a surprise when i saw this place. The view is great. About 270 degrees of view. The view to the loading dock was a real surprise. There is a very large carpark, with spots suitable for large campervans. There is a viewing deck that has a telescope to view around the place.
