Posto meraviglioso . Pranzo pasquale e festa di una splendida 80enne . Il menù eccezionale . Una bellissima scoperta. Assolutamente consigliato.

Struttura che già all'accoglienza propone umanità e completa disposizione, ambiente incontaminato e aria pura uniti a panorama unico nel genere rendono il tutto un sogno. Cibo naturale e ideale per chiunque, uno staff davvero professionale nonchè amico, la soddisfazione di vedersi accontentati anche su richieste extra e il silenzio permettono di staccare totalmente dalla routine della frenesia quotidiana. Non da meno la pulizia e l'ordine delle camere e della struttura tutta dinnanzi all'imponenza del castello che sormonta la collina sovrastante. Il contesto è meraviglioso e vicinissimo a musei, palazzi e servizi in una città di suo ben collocata e ben tenuta. Ci tornerò sicuramente e consiglio a tutti di vivere questi magnifici momenti.

The Villa Petrinum was my favorite accommodation on my travels down the eastern coast of Italy. This beautifully renovated historic villa was extremely comfortable, clean, and tastefully furnished. Simona made sure I had a wonderful stay, recommending sites to see, restaurants, and preparing a delicious breakfast. Unfortunately I visited during the week when the restaurant was closed so I will have to return.

Wow, what a stunning experience. Villa Petrinum is a rare gem. You’ll be staying (or eating, if you only go for dinner) at an actual Roman villa from the second century C.E. The building has been completely revitalized, with all the modern amenities but retaining the ancient charm. The views are incredible—you can feel why the Romans built a villa on this magical spot. The restaurant (open on weekends) offers first class dining and a memorable atmosphere, with the main dining room a restored hall from the villa. Best of all, the owners are a wonderfully warm, caring, dedicated family who have worked hard to make this a one-of-a-kind experience. From having your own table (with your name on it!) at the sumptuous breakfast (featuring figs from the property) to taking care of your every need, this place has it all. Highly, highly recommended and can’t wait to come back. Grazie Salvatore!

Esperienza davvero fantastica, cibo ricercato e professionalità dello staff fanno da cornice ad una location che tra arte e storia è in grado di regalare emozioni uniche.

Siamo stati benissimo. Appena arrivati abbiamo avuto una straordinaria guida storico-artistica che ci ha illuminati sulla parte di Mondragone che non conoscevamo. Siamo rimasti sorpresi dalla eccezionale ospitalità e dalla raffinatezza dei piatti. Un ristorante consigliato vivamente a tutti coloro che vogliono passare una serata immersi nella storia di Mondragone e viziati da una cucina locale e tradizionale.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Sobald wir ankamen, hatten wir einen außergewöhnlichen historisch-künstlerischen Führer, der uns von Seiten von Mondragone aufklärte, die wir nicht kannten. Wir waren überrascht von der außergewöhnlichen Gastfreundschaft und der Raffinesse der Speisen. Ein Restaurant, das allen empfohlen wird, die einen Abend in der Geschichte von Mondragone verbringen und sich von der lokalen und traditionellen Küche verwöhnen lassen möchten. Wir danken Euch für den wunderbaren Abend und für das excelente Essen. Unser siebenjähriger Sohn ist ebenso begeistert wie wir !

Stayed for 2 nights in June ,beautiful small hotel, very quiet and peaceful, and room was lovely really comfortable bed ,, and fully equipped big bathroom, we stopped for a meal in 2022 and it was fantastic,unfortunately this year we stayed in the week and restaurant was closed , breakfast was really delicious everything you could want fresh local pastries cereals and fresh local fruits, the lady Simone was such a kind and caring person,she couldn’t do enough for us ,we will certainly be staying there next year on our travels

Ho mangiato questa sera con i miei amici, un posto magico, immersi nel verde. Menù spettacolare, piatti realizzati con prodotti del territorio, tutto ottimo, pesce fresco. Servizio impeccabile, il cameriere che ci ha serviti è stato molto dettagliato nel spiegarci i piatti e ci ha fatto passare una bellissima serata. Tornerò sicuramente.

Bellissima, accogliente raffinata. Auguro ai proprietari davvero di riuscire a rompere la cortina di ferro dei Mondragonesi. Perché la cucina è ottima e il posto incantevole.

Qui ci si immerge nella storia romana e medioevale condita da sapori unici che sembrano stati creati apposta per noi.
