    First time going here. Absolute horrible customer service. Waited 15 minutes to order. Once I got to speaker to order a shake the lady rudely told me they can't make shakes because too many people ordered them and now their "runny". Sounds like pure laziness to me. This place needs a turnover in management according to the amount of horrible reviews. Attitude reflects leadership.

    I usually avoid this location because of past experiences never being good anyways, and wish I'd followed my policy of driving further to the one on van dyke and 16 mile tonight too. I ordered a medium Oreo blast with cookie dough pieces, caramel, and hot fudge thru the app mere minutes before pickup(ordered from Kroger parking lot on 16 mile before heading straight there). Usually I don't make a big deal of things if one maybe two things are wrong. But what I received was unapologetically wrong, pretty much an insult; a random small Oreo shake with caramel(could only tell it had caramel because there was some on the side) that I firmly believe the staff found on the counter. Possibly an order through a food delivery app because it still had the sonic app sticker on the lid. I didn't realize it was wrong order until arriving at home because I was sharing with my toddler. She enjoyed it I guess, just know I gotta go elsewhere for quality ice cream, either different location or franchise.

    Well!... I only came out here because I kept seeing those commercials. 😋 But it was definitely not commercial worthy. Lol We pulled up to the Drive-thru and the employee taking our order was dry, we placed our order and we got the food before we got our drinks. So I knew the food was going to be a bust. We parked and opened our meals, I was right... 😑 The chicken tenders was heat lamp temperature and not enjoyable, the burger was meh. BUT!!! The best part was the slushies, and the tots weren't that bad either. When you go to spots like this make sure you take someone you can laugh with. It won't make the meal a complete bust.

    This Sonic location is AWFUL. My husband and I have come here twice, and it was bad both times. The last time we went, the woman taking orders sounded very bored, and was unable to understand my order despite my best efforts to speak clearly. When we received our Coke and Dr. Pepper, they were both EXPIRED. The drinks literally tasted like sour milk/throw-up. I doubt we were the only ones to order Coca-Cola and Dr. Pepper from this location, and I am surprised there are not more reviews about this issue. We love Sonic, but this location needs help.

    I visited Sonic drive-thru on Sunday Sept 4th. The customer service was phenomenal. I had my grandkids in the car and they had 'special' orders😉, the lady was very patient. Our order totaled $31.07. I got to the window and my order was delivered with a smile. They even offered to give our dog ice cream. MY ORDER WAS CORRECT. MY GRAND CHILDREN WERE HAPPY, AND IT WAS THEIR FIRST TIME EATING SONIC. The food was good!!!...I wish I could say this about other fast food establishments👍👏

    Absolutely the worst service I've ever had in my entire life. . After speaking with every employee in the place through the box and hearing g them laugh because they couldn't understand anyone in the car, we pulled to the window .received a completely wrong order and when we tried to tell the manager Krystal. She was rude and unwilling to correct the order for over 10 minutes . 15 minutes later we get 90% of the order and didn't have time to continue to wait . I've been here several times during the night without incident . But the managerial skills on this woman Krystal are by far the worst I've ever seen or heard of . Do better sonic

    If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered the Crispy Tenders meal and was given these very flat pieces of chicken with bread crumbs along with a normal piece of sandwich bread barley toasted. I took one bite of the chicken and it was terrible, I ended up through my meal away. (I was on my lunch break and didn't have time to go back). When I called they said this is the correct chicken. They do not serve the food products at this location that other locations serve but they have the pictures up on their drive through sign. They didn't even offer to refund my money or give me a gift card for another time. Would never go to the Sonic on 14 Mile & John R again!

    Tried picking up my online order at the window and they still forced me to get into the line wrapped around the building. The app wouldn't let me cancel for a refund, so 17 minutes out of a 30 minute lunch break later, I got rude service and nasty food. You should have the stalls and little lobby torn out and not take app orders if you're a drive thru only joint. I want my money back and you can have this garbage food no one could eat.

    I don't know why they call this place a restaurant. The food is barely edible and the service is blah. Do yourself a favor and just go to Culvers - 3 mins away. The burger was dry AF! They gave me 4 onion rings that barely filled the bag. Then once I tasted them, I regretted asking for the full bag of onion rings. The only good thing that came out of this experience is that I was able to help feed some homeless people.

    We had multiple people in our car and the stalls were closed and at first they said they couldn’t do 3 orders when he found out we were going to have to come around a few times he said he didnt mind completing the order. Very thankful for the service at this location!

    Saw people in the store with no hair net on when you have dreads hanging over peoples food it's quite disgusting. No gloves being used when making food/drinks. The frozen blizzards did not have much toppings in it. As it had less than a half of scoop. Still can't get over that workers with long hair especially dreads that looked not well maintained are not put in a hair net. This place has fallen since the last time I was here.

    Great service even in pouring rain. Awesome thick shakes. Only problem is car was in front of outside grease trap. So dirty it needs to be cleaned. Not a pleasant thing to look at as you eat.

    I was having a fun night with my niece and nephew while running end-of-a-long-day errands. I didn’t have a lot to spend since I am in between work opportunities and in an apprenticeship program. I was gifted a coupon card for my birthday and had not used it since didn’t think it would be excepted. To my pleasant surprise, the manager and the shift leader, walked out to my vehicle through the drive-through and review the information and called the general manager for the store to verify that the coupons were valid and could be used at this location. For me, that is above and beyond service! It was amazing! I was able to get all the food that the children and I wanted, we were able to pull up into a drive-in space to enjoy our meal. It was nice to eat and not have to drive and manage the children with their food. To the shift lead Fadi…THANK YOU! Your attention to detail made all the difference. Thank you for your kindness in honoring the coupons and giving us an extra lemonade. The kids were so happy and I was glad they had full tummies before bed.

    This location deserves more than 5 stars! Every single team member have been nothing but wonderful. Crystal (one of the managers) is nothing short of AMAZING! She’s friendly, accommodating, her personality is AWESOME! I could go on & on but i just want to say thank you to Crystal, Fadi + every other team member who don’t only make me feel welcome but also treat me like FAMILY! Oh & they also know me by name & know my order by heart which is an extra personal and amazing feeling!

    I never give 5 stars. You have to be amazing to get that 5th star. Exceptional in fact. On Thursday, November 30th 2023 @ 3:00pm. They were Exceptional. I ordered the cheese burger #1🍔. IT WAS AMAZING. IT WAS PICTURE PERFECT. IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER PREPARED. Additionally, the young lady (if we didn't live in such a racially sensitive country, I could describe her so management could award her) with the best attitude ive seen in years from a fast food worker. Quick, courteous, and professional with a smile that brightened my day. She was great ! 👍 Now my disclaimer. If you don't like Sonic burgers, then this won't matter to you, but if you do, this location made me the best version of a sonic burger that could ever be made.

    So I am a doordasher but also a customer. I pulled up to sonic to order a shake but was told that they are not serving ice cream products as of right now just for me to get doordash orders for shakes and they made them so that was very disappointed. Also to see them giving shake orders to other customers at that.

    Should be ZERO stars! Worst fast food experience of my life. Waited over an hour for our food that was given to the wrong vehicle. Susan, who took our order, was rude and impatient and does not care about customer satisfaction. No reimbursement or extra food to help make up for the obvious error on her and her teams part. Never coming again. Not worth your time go to McDonalds!

    Insane! They don't want customers. I checked in, 15 minutes later still no order. I buzz in, they say oh we didn't see it. Yes it is a long time to wait! I've recently been relocated to MI and I don't have a Sonic close to my residence. Since I'd finished my day in the office I thought I'd pop over for the Rt 44 Dr Pepper. Then I was like, let's just get some food as well. While it was a long wait, the food definitely didn't disappoint, it was like my Sonic in MO, KS & TX.

    Manager is rude. Location is cheap. You can’t tell customers you’re opting out of company wide coupon codes when it’s right there on the app and texts saying it’s currently running, in app and in person. You can’t start yelling at a customers. I went to university in Oklahoma and worked at those locations. They frequently tested things out at our location before implementing it nationwide. I don’t know when management at this location changed but it’s not what it used to be. Poor employees

    I usually love sonic, but this experience was horrible and made me never wanna go to one again. I asked for extra ranch and marinara for my tater tots that were cold and my cheese sticks also that were cold, both I had to put in the microwave, but I didn’t get any ranch or marinara, my shake I paid extra for does not have banana or chocolate, or even the fudge, once again my experience was horrible and that’s not even mentioning the mean lady who wouldn’t take my order at the drive ups, made me pull around to the drive threw and when the nice young man took my order he only gave me napkins when I asked for extra ranch or marinara, he said it was in the bag , wish people would stay away from here you could make anything better yourself, wouldn’t feed my dog these tater tot’s the cheese is so nasty

    Not the best, not the worse. Nothing like the commercials. Onion rings were soggy, tots could have been cooked a couple minutes longer. IF we would have driven home with the food, it definitely would have been cold.

    The workers are EVIL !!!!!! Snatched my money and cursed me out. I’m a rather small female and I took my children to this establishment for eats & treats. Just to be dogged out by employee AND MANAGER !!!!!!!! I have social anxiety so the way I was treated while ordering didn’t allow me to order correctly! Couldn’t even ask questions about items I ordered. I’m allergic to lettuce and I was scared to even ask to have it taken off. Definitely traumatized. Don’t eat here !!!!!

    There is always something wrong when I order. Unfortunately its the only one near me. Do want ketchup with your fries? Do want a spoon with your shake? Even after I tell them in drive-thru, 90% I have walk to the window and request agian for selected items or have them remake my burger because they forgot to leave mayo out. Great burgers and shakes though.

    Very Very rude cashier. I couldn't even place my order at the drive thru speaker. We literally just pulled off. She was on the speaker talking to another employee using profane language. We waited. Then she proceeded to take my order . She greeted... How can I help you .. No problem. Then she just kept asking in a rude tone... Anything else, I told her I had several things but she just kept saying the same thing...Anything Else. When we pulled up she was cussing about people pulling off. We did the same. I understand why now. I'm sure we just won't return. Very Poor Service.

    The service at Sonic is the best thing about them. The food is terrible. My wife has gotten their shakes and they have a bad taste to them. And their burgers just tastes awful. I'm not sure how anybody can actually eat this. But the service is good so I'll give the two stars for the service

    The drive in bays are still closed not sure if it's from covid or the employee shortage. Drive thru window is open for all orders, our order was large and correct and delicious and hot. We love the packaging making it easy to feed the children.

    I keep giving this place chances on something simple as a drink, but I keep getting met with issues such as complete attitudes before I even speak to what I believe are crossed or contaminated soda lines mixing my drinks. How many times will I go to order something as simple as a Diet Coke and receive a Dr Pepper, or ordering a Diet Dr Pepper and receiving a root beer? And getting met with attitude instead of just fixing it or checking the line connections. And please, some of the employees’ attitude are the worst. How did you just open and you already have an attitude before I even say hello? I don’t know if this place has been under new management in the past few years, but I know 2014 Sonic @ John R is very different than 2020-2022 Sonic @ John R.
