The parking lot can be used to park in around the clock. There is loitering all over the parking lot! My car was broken into through the window. The whole thing ransacked! I will also mention that indoors people are just mischievously walking around, and clearly not there to work out, shower, or swim. Also, whatever happened to the Tennis Court because it looked either destroyed or under construction, however that adds to the chaotic like nature of the facility. I talked to a man earlier that day who had his wallet stollen after setting it down for a moment. People bring their stuff here and trust. The shifty trolls are in the majority. Best of Luck!!! On the flip side if your side Gig is Sniping this is a perfect facility for the job and enjoy your Free Range tactical skills, because it's wide open. I just wish safety was Still First .. and people believed in the 10 commandments!

The gym floor desperately needs to aquire more equipment. -Loaded plate machines, back, chest, legs -Barbell Shoulder press -Decline bench press -T bar row -More cages Well managed, cleaned, friendly staff. Gave 3 stars because doesn't have enough power equipment. Will give it 5 once they add that.

I came to the building to cancel my membership in person sometime back in early August, waited 20 minutes for a manager to come help me at the front desk because the two person there do not know how to cancel my membership. Didn't mind it. That manager looked up my information and said my membership is cancelled. I confirmed it with her that I won't be billed anymore and she said I would not be billed. Today (1 month later & after I am going to a different gym), I was billed again. I called in to their billing office and was told that I still have an active membership, and that they could not reimburse me or do anything about it except to cancel my membership, because 'I did not have any record of coming in to cancel my membership'. Apparently to them I never came in to cancel my membership even though I was there in person and talked with 3 different employees. Such BS. My experience with other gyms with much lower prices gave me much better experience. Keep my money for this month, because that's the last that you guys will be seeing from my friends, family, and I.

I think for the size, this shouldn't be an Onyx membership.. Lifetime changed their pricing/structuring of their pricing, and it seems like this gym is more of a gold.. It's small, and can often be hard to find machines for working out. I always admired the friendly staff and how clean it was.. BUT I have since moved to the Woodbury location.. Much more to offer, and wayyy bigger.

We have been members for a month now, and it has been the best club we have ever been a part of. We have two young kids, a 5 and 7 year old, and they love going there. They have classes for the kids to go to as well for them to burn off some energy, and the trainers that work with them all seem awesome (so much better than any of the previous clubs like LA Fitness). Steam Room, Sauna, and Hot Tubs are also a great add to relax the body after a great workout. I do like how there is a Cafe, Spa service, Clinic, and a few other amenities that you wouldn't get at other clubs. However, you're definitely paying more for the extras and the cleanest club I have ever been at, but it's so worth it.

This was my first visit today after meeting and getting signed up with ease because of Sydney. I’m highly impressed with the customer service from the very start, and quality of care that each staff member showed towards my individual needs. I was amazed at the current members expressing their joy of their health club experience during the walk through too! Today… we decided to “make a goal,” help my chronic conditions-by planning visits weekly. Next pack a bag…Meaning the worst nightmare For a lady During the “off season,” and that had not planned on swimming for months! BUT I embraced the challenge and had a “swimming suit try on moment” this morning. It was driven by just a possibility that I could have pain relief anywhere at the end of the experience. So it made me overcome the challenges to just get out of my home. Thank god for the amazing locker room ladies that were coming and going! I couldn’t have made it without their help! (Because my “care provider” my hubby couldn’t be there in the ladies locker room to help me.) I was genuinely supported each time I encountered a challenge and without having to even ask anyone. You can tell how happy everyone from staff to customers felt and all are happy and fortunate to be with such great people at this location in Wbl… Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

Great facility with a saltwater pool and lots of amenities. The pool temperature is perfect for lap swimming and the facility is super clean thanks to the hard working staff. All of the managers are phenomenal and will help you whenever! The facility’s equipment is dated with machines regularly breaking or finding broken plastic. The owners really need to invest into this club. There’s a lot of potential for excellence but there’s only so much the employees can do to improve the member experience when upper management would prefer to invest into the tennis courts than anything else.

Rude, arrogant people working here. Seems they have too many costumers to be helpful in any way. Unbelievably pretentious when asked about the tennis department and membership rates. Not hard to at least give a decent response. You can keep your facility... After walking back our car it's probably a gift anyway by looking at all the unsavory types looking threw car windows.

I have been a member of the WBL club since 2017. They have done a great job maintaining a high level of service throughout the pandemic. This location is very nice. It is smaller than some other clubs but has many great offerings. Plus the quaintness of it is desirable for those not wanting to be overrun by too many people. There is a good mix of ages and abilities in the members.

Recently moved in the area and started visiting this Lifetime as a previous regular at Woodbury Lifetime and then Plymouth Lifetime and I've gotta say, I was completely underwhelmed. I didn't get LifeTime vibes at all. Feels more like a community center or a low-tier YMCA. They should create a "Bronze" tier to categorize this location under. I haven't had any encounters with staff yet so no comment on them but the facility itself is so tiny. You will find yourself waiting for machines very regularly. I am an early bird when it comes to lifting in order to avoid traffic as much as possible but won't be as effective here it seems. For example, there's only 3 flat bench press stations and 3/4 free weight benches... The low ceiling and seemingly poor ventilation(feels hot and damp at times) is also a buzz kill to your workout. Will probably look for a cheaper place strictly for lifting because this one definitely isn't worth the price tag unless you're here for tennis or cardio.

I enjoyed my time going to this gym. If you were planning on going at peak times it can be difficult to find parking. I really enjoyed the variety of classes. Some of the cardio equipment was older and it was a smaller weight area. I usually could always find a machine I wanted though. Very expensive.

I gave my 5* rating for three reasons -one, the place truly is a classy (extremely clean) athletic club with first class amenities (LifeCafe) second, first class facilities, trainers, and staff, third … I ordered my first ever hamburger there since I needed some healthy calories and being a foodie I was amazed at how good it was -especially with the special spicy secret sauce they put on it. A special shout out to Nora & Lauren who gave me Great Service & for the burger - antibiotic free and grass fed - with over the top attention to Quality, Taste and Presentation ! I’ll b back ! (To work off those healthy calories)

Fitness side was good; however, would not recommend swim lessons and the summer kid’s program - no water bottles allowed. We ended up pulling our kiddo out of the program a month early due to dehydration issues. Poor/inconsistent communication (parents of campers talk, info. is not consistent). Swim Lessons: Not as good as FOSS. Our kiddos did not learn much during the couple months they were there. We ended up going back to FOSS where you can see drastic changes. Bottom line, membership is not worth it.

My family and I where looking for a gym in the local area today. Stopped at this facility today and was turned away for a tour of the gym. It was a complete waste of my time to stop into this futility today. Places that had no problem with showing me around there facilities today and would recommend over this facility. Shoreview community center. Roughly $90/monthly for a family Forest Lake YMCA Roughly $123/monthly for a family Shoreview YMCA Roughly $123/monthly for a family Rookery (Lino Lakes) Roughly 100/monthly for a family All of these establishments assuming are half the price of Lifetime with exceptionally better customer service.

WBL is my favorite Life Time in the area. It’s not over crowded and the staff is very friendly. Work out area and locker rooms are really clean

The pickleball courts at the LT WBL are cushy. The PB coordinators are fantastic and the Advanced Open Play sessions on Wednesday evening are not to be missed.

Currently under construction. Healthy environment. Welcoming people. Can bring your kids and have them in the kids academy while you swim, workout, go to the spa, etc. Each location does vary though.

Great place for tennis instruction for kids and young adults. Our daughter has been taking individual and group lessons over the past five years and absolutely loves it.

White Bear Lake is a city with strong personality. Our Life Time is extremely charming with 10 perfect indoors tennis courts.

😠 Female Staff member, older that works evenings. Is extremely rude to clients that walk in. Tonight I asked for a stand up bed and she gave me a lay down. 👍👍 As far as small box fitness gyms go this is definitely one of the best around. Same equipment you will find anywhere else just not the same staff.
