👍 Delicious flavorful food! The raisin bread was incredible. Friendly staff. Seems many “regulars” dine here. Parking is difficult; street parking only. Cute downtown area with mom and pop shops. Similar to downtown Stillwater minus the crowds. People often mention breakfast, good, coffee, service, eggs, friendly,

I came here since the coffee shop near by was closed but I’m glad it was because Cobblestone did not disappoint. Wonderful coffee. Oatmeal was great. I’ll have to try this place again sometime. One minus star because it could use a good cleaning/update.

Great small town feel Cafe. Food was great, and servers were kind. If you want a good home cooked style breakfast this is your place. Will be back again.

Fantastic service! Very friendly staff. The biscuits were small and hard but tasted okay gravy was okay. Hash browns were fantastic! I probably wouldn't get the biscuits and gravy again. Very busy. Good service good atmosphere. Outside seating available when it's nice I will come try the place again

Vegans: order the Hash Browns with Veggies. They also have a PBJ but the jam is High Fructose. Super friendly service!

First, I want to say that the service was great. We had a very friendly waitress who was really working hard. That being said, I have to say something about the building and the food. I'm really worried about the foundation - we walked in and you could see that the booths against the walls were slanted down towards the center of the room. Everything is very worn, but the tables were wobbly and just about broken. It's definitely old and in need of an overhaul. We ordered a classic breakfast that had 2 scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage links, and toast. When it arrived, it looked like everything was coated in oil. I'm used to classic American diner breakfasts but this was something else. It was practically swimming in oil - not even butter - actual oil. It wasn't seasoned AT ALL. Ordered hashbrowns extra crispy and they were barely done. Eggs were actually dry somehow given the oil surrounding them. I ate a few bites, couldn't finish, and even that sat heavily in my stomach until it finally rebelled. I cannot stress how disappointed we were given the amount of good reviews on the food. It was really, really bad. I hate writing bad reviews but I don't want others to have the same experience.

We’ve been enjoying breakfast at Cobblestone Cafe for decades! Pat’s favorite is the Raspberry French Toast. It’s delicious. In my thinner youth I loved the skillets. But in my fatter 7th decade I recommend their omelets or eggs Benedict!

We had a nice lunch in a noisy Cafe that had a lot of 1950 ambiance with every square inch occupied by tables or booths. They have a nice outdoor eating area too.

Reasonably priced, really well made breakfast. I have been looking for a legit place doing proper classic American and this is my new favorite. Had to ask for a water refill but other than that all was fantastic...it's a Monday.

Great food however the place is dirty and falling apart. Uncomfortable seating, unstable tables, coffee is slightly better than a gas station. At $44 for breakfast for two I would expect a lot better. Food tasted fresh but hardly makes up for the shortcomings.

Great food. Even better service. Location is in need of a facelift, but it is a great local option for breakfast or lunch. Our go-to place for family breakfast, and can feed a family of 6 without breaking the bank.

We popped in on a Saturday at 10am, it was busy, but we were able to find a seat. We had incredibly friendly service! I ordered the iced caramel macchiato (you can skip and just get an iced coffee, it tastes the same), and the Belgian waffle with strawberries and cream. It was delicious! My partner ordered a ham and cheese omelet, and it was soooo good. Highly recommend for a comfort-food setup in a homey, warm space. :)

What a hidden gem! As far as I'm concerned, I just had a perfect breakfast. Simple meal; basted eggs (done perfectly), diced potatoes (lightly fried and crispy), fat sausage links, and perfect toast (not overly toasted), and one giant pancake. You'd be surprised how badly someone can screw up an order as simple as this. I'd been to Denny's in North Branch and ordered the same meal. It was so bad after I'd asked several times to have the eggs remade, I finally got so frustrated by the low quality of my meal, and walked out. This breakfast at Cobblestone Cafe more than made up for my experience the morning before. Thank you so much for the fantastic meal! The waitress was so friendly and nice!

This place is the best diner in the greater twin cities area, hands down! We had the biscuits and gravy (the biscuits were perfectly fluffy on the inside with a crispy exterior, topped with scrambled eggs and the best traditional peppered sausage gravy I’ve had in MN), the eggs benedict (perfectly cooked runny yolk eggs, deliciously savory ham, and hollandaise so good you’ll want to lick the plate clean!!), and a huge cinnamon roll (served warm with the most delectable icing on top- the perfect thing to pair with a hot cup of coffee). The whole breakfast was the best we’ve had in years, and the hot coffee carafe just for us truly warmed the soul just as much as the food and friendly faces did!

I've been going to this cozy cafe in White Bear for the last 9 years. Very friendly staff and a fantastic place. Good breakfast / brunch menu. I've tried many things on the menu, however, my favorite is southern skillet and bottomless coffee. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is good which is usually late spring, summer and early fall.

The food was pretty good. The only thing that was bad was the place was dirty. The booths had left over food in the seams of the seats, on the sides of the booths in between the walls and the floors were very dirty.

I try not to be over objective but this time was so needed. It’s breakfast food. I understand short staffed. I understand the 50 minute wait for food. I can’t deal with the way things are now. But again it’s breakfast food. Pancakes. My theory is if you can’t Cook a pancake. Close the fn doors. It’s breakfast. Eggs pancakes and bacon are the foundation. It’s why you have a business. The pancakes were so inedible im not even sure if an animal would of ate them in the alley. The bottoms. Not cooked. The top was so overcooked that you couldn’t cut them with a fork. Literally we had to attempt to eat them like a steak. The taste. It tasted like straight baking powder. I can’t even describe how bad they were. Bacon. I dont particularly like well done bacon. But every place is different. What i DONT like is over cooked bacon that had been sitting out so long that the fat content had resoaked into the bacon. So fatty Crispy as cold as you can possibly get bacon. The florentine Benedict’s. First off whoever cut the tomatoes should try not using a butter knife to cut. The tomatoes looked more brutalized then the Vikings losses in the nfc championship Games. The food was however on the hotter side compared to everything else. The sauce was However completely broken. Why it was served us beyond me. It takes moments to fix a broken sauce. I’m not certain how. Considering how bad everything was. But the chef nailed the poached eggs. They were perfect. I’m guessing luck? We paid and finished. We walked around the block. When we walked back around the block we noticed every plate with uneaten pancakes. It’s breakfast. It’s really hard to screw up breakfast food. And considering the markup is like 1000 percent you would think there would be some sort of quality control or An owner of a place that clearly seems to have “given up” on what’s being served in their place. I don’t only feel like I should of had my whole meal comped. (Just the pancake , or whatever they want to call that) I feel like I deserve money back for 2.5 hours of wasted time that I could of went to any of the other breakfast spots within the block. Im sorry. But man this place was hands down the worst breakfast spot I’ve ever been to in my life.

Enjoyed a very good breakfast at the Cobblestone cafe. Generous portions, took some home, hash browns and kielbasa sausage were very tasty. The raisin cinnamon toast is a winner. When you're thinking of breakfast or lunch, support a long-time local business.

Great breakfast, the hash browns are fabulous but to make them even better, ask to have onions added!!! Mmm good, but all their food is fabulous! It's a small place so get their early!

We had a nice breakfast outside on the sidewalk. The menu offers a large selection. The prices are reasonable. The food is well prepared and delicious, and the service was very good.

So pleasantly surprised! The coffee was great, and I had the loaded hashbrowns with kielbasa and it was delicious… very filling. And also loved the raisin bread. So glad I came here to support a local business rather than one of the other breakfast chains.

This is a decent little cafe out in White Bear. The food selection is very diner-esque and cafe like the coffee is okay and the service is light mainly because of staffing shortages. I assume There is generally one waitress who can help manage tables both inside and out. The outdoor tables are decent and not too loud and you get shaded space for most of the morning due to the height of the buildings and the trees. So if you're looking for more sunlight you may have to sit closer to the street and look at around 11:00. Parking is ample with parking right in front. That fills up quickly but there is street parking all around the building. The prices are decent for the type of restaurant and the location.
