The food was stellar! The chips could use a little more salt, but that's nothing a salt shaker can't fix. The salsa was absolutely delicious, so much so I would buy it to take home. Dinner was out very timely, the waitress was very polite and attentive, and the presentation of the food and restaurant were excellent.

Definitely a must try! I ordered their tofu walnut enchilada and substituted one of their salsa with mango salsa. Loved it! Went there again and ordered the same. It's rare that I go to a place and order the same thing again. The toasted walnut and mango salsa was too good! You get decent vegetarian options here. We ordered sopapillas for dessert. It did not come as I expected but tasted good nevertheless. We also got mango guacamole which is a must try! Would go here again! Friday dinner, expect a wait time.

Wow. Blue Agave’s food is excellent! It is definitely on my top 10 favorites for restaurants in Fort Collins. The mango fish tacos are delicious and I definitely recommend them. The mango along with the crispy fish and sauces make it one of a kind. If you are looking for a place to eat, I really recommend coming here.

One of the worst managements I've ever experienced at Fort Collins. Asked for a beer but couldn't get it because my European driving licence wasn't accepted as a proof of ID, even if my birth date is clearly seen. UNBELIEVABLE! All my friends are getting drinks but me... Never comeback! I leave you here with my cup of water!

Amazing time here at the blue AGAVE grill. I had the steak enchiladas and the meat was very tender and the enchiladas were some of the best I have ever had. Server was over the top helpful with details on the menu and suggestions. It was very appreciated and a nice change from from the normal politely take you order and run. We had a large group they seemed to handle with ease. Food was great service was great. Even on a Tuesday night was very full and very busy. Parking is NOT easy (but that could just be because I am not familiar with the area)

The waiting service is incredible. For appetizers- we ordered coconut shrimp 🍤 and black - white nachos. Loved it. The taste and sauce is very unique. For entrée we got enchiladas and fish agave tacos. 🌮so so good. Overall I love this place. Little bit on the pricey but worth the taste.

Are you hungry for Mexican inspired food? Thirsty for Margarita’s? Want to eat on a dog friendly patio with beautiful atmosphere? lol no further and has to Blue Agave Grill. Delicious food, happy friendly servers, wonderful atmosphere. Oh! And did I mention I forgot my purse there and when I returned hours later not only did they have my purse but everything was in it as it was. Lovely place, yummy food, great staff, highly recommend and would return when in town again.

OMG 6/5 stars! Delicious food, fun atmosphere, and great staff! Also an awesome variety of vegan and vegetarian options that are filling and not just your sad standard “here’s some lettuce,” recipe. The tofu walnut enchiladas were simply *chef’s kiss.* perfectly level of heat!

Blue Agave has such a cute, relaxing atmosphere. The enchiladas I had were on special that night, and were delicious. Drinks were good & our server was absolutely amazing! Thanks for the experience, I'll definitely be back when in CO again.

Ate outside and even though it was cold the fire tables kept us warm enough. The salsa and drinks were great. The queso was tasty though more like fondue cheese than what I think of queso. We left out the goat cheese though. We had the fish tacos and blue corn enchiladas and both were very good. Two of the three tacos was enough to feel full.

I've been in twice since I moved to Fort Collins. I came once alone and again in Sept while my mother visited me for my birthday and both times were nothing short of amazing! I was happy to show it to my mama! I'm blind and usually out by myself and the staff there has been super nice and friendly and made me feel like less of a mutant for eating by myself. If you haven't had fish tacos here you haven't had fish tacos and surf and turf overall is amazing here! Highly recommend!

Drinks were amazing! Appetizers were good. I loved that the food came out when it was ready rather than wait. Hot food that comes quickly is excellent to keep hungry teenagers at bay.

The menu was well thought out and featured thoughtful vegetarian choices including a fantastic tofu walnut enchilada. The Blondie was excellent. Our server was fantastic and provided solid suggestions- thanks Haven!

We enjoyed another wonderful meal at one of our favorite restaurants tonight. In addition to the fabulous food we sampled flights of Mezcal. Their selection is excellent and we really had fun tasting and comparing them all! Highly recommended - it is really hard to go wrong here! Food, drinks, staff and atmosphere are all top notch!

The food is good. The waiter was quite cheeky when I asked if he can bring a mobile credit card reader to the table. He asked snappily if I didn't trust him and if I wanted to follow him into the kitchen. Mobile credit card readers that the waiters bring to the table have been the standard in most other western countries for many years. Why - again - is the US so behind, I wonder. I have had my cc info stolen in restaurants twice! I don't enjoy cancelling my credit card and getting a new one every time. I don't want to leave my cc in the hands of strangers and should not have to justify my reasons for that.

In order to miss the crowds on Cinco de Mayo, we opted to go out for Mexican food the previous evening. A local friend recommended this place, and we are happy she did. The menu was varied, and the food was well prepared. I had the carnitas, and the serving was generous and tasty. I don't usually order margaritas because often they are a disappointment, but these were good. If I was looking for a Mexican restaurant in Fort Collins, I would definitely recommend checking out the Blue Agave.

Our waiter Alex was super friendly. Im a huge fan of scallops and the darkened scallops they serve were one of the most creative and delicious (fresh too) I ever had.

2nd time here, first time reviewer. Menu is very diverse with a lot of great options. Happy hour looks like a must, that's on the list! Ordered the teriyaki salmon because I saw it go by and had to order it. Requested medium rare, came out perfect, sprouts were delicious and not soaked in oil and butter, perfect crisp. Will be back for the coconut shrimp and a few of their tacos and the sangria swirl. Rachel and Ryan were great bartenders.

This is one of my favorite places in Fort Collins. Food is great, margaritas are delicious and the service has always been excellent. I go every time I’m in town and I make sure to hit Tuesday’s all-night happy hour. I recommend the tacos and the sangria swirl on a summer night.

Wonderful Latin American food with a quirky twist. Spot on drinks, wonderful service. The prices are not budget, but if you want some of the best food of this fare in this town Blue Agave is the spot. Also, I've got to say, some of the most hands down interesting selections of tequila I've seen in town

*Coconut Shrimp Taco Plate* Waitress was friendly, I came for a quick late lunch and was happy with how fast food came out. Everything was tasty and for me it was the sauce that really elevated the dish. Pineapple margarita with sugar on the rim was the perfect addition. Wasn't pushed to sit at the bar because it was just me, this is often something I find annoying as a person who occasionally goes out solo and would prefer a table.

Had a wonderful birthday lunch! The espresso pumpkin soup was amazing! High recommend the taco appetizer. They made me a alcohol free cucumber margarita that was out of this world. Oh and I got the yummiest brownies as dessert!!! Great server too 🙏🏼🧡 my photos do no justice by the way

This was a fantastic Mexican restaurant. The place has modern colorful paintings with nice booths and great outside patio. Our server River was very nice. We both had chicken platters that were delicious and the price was reasonable. Right on College Avenue and it was mid afternoon and place was filled.

I try not to give a lot of 5 star reviews unless a restaurant deserves it, but Blue Agave deserves it. This seriously was some of the best food I've had. the salmon with rice and fresh ingredients was delicious every single bit, and the margaritas were so tasty (I personally had the frozen strawberry one). The staff was super friendly and I love the outdoor patio they created, super relaxing. Great place to eat and the price really wasn't that outrageous considering the food and atmosphere. Definitely would recommend!

Unusual and intriguing taste combinations of Mexican origin. Waited on by a very cool dude. Decor worth exploring and documenting. Located in the basement of an historical building.

I have been lucky enough to eat at some amazing restaurants around the world and to have this gem right in Fort Collins is fabulous. Every single person I interacted with was polite, respectful and helpful. From the hostess to the servers to the bar staff to the manager. The food is FANTASTIC - you can taste the excellent quality in every dish - they are a scratch kitchen so if you have any dietary restrictions they can manage those! We are so very fortunate to have this quality of restaurant right in our hometown. The manager Jasmin truly cares about everyone's experience and she is so nice. I truly can't recommend Blue Agave more - I wish I could eat there every day! Well Done Blue Agave!
