Updated review.. tried the club sandwich and chili soup. Both were excellent choices. Tried a cranberry granola bar as well and it was surprisingly good too! Spencer's is a great space to grab a coffee, sit with your laptop, eat, fellowship or just look out the window. I enjoyed my meal and the vibe of the place. My lunch sandwich was pretty good and the Thai lentil soup was fantastic. Lots of pastries to choose from of which I got a chocolate chip cookie that I found kind of dense but was edible. Overall a very nice experience that I recommend giving a try!

It is a great coffee cafe full of charming characteristics inside and out. The perfect place to meet up with others or do some college homework while enjoying some of their delicious lattes or other treats.

My husband and I drove through town on our way back to Nashville and were SO thrilled to find Spencer’s! We love finding new craft coffee shops on our road trips and this is a new regular spot for us when driving north!! I had the blackberry rosemary latte and it was stellar! So delicious! I also had the big salad which was amazing- their balsamic dressing is fantastic. Lots of room to sit and talk/read/work & the staff is SO friendly. Highly highly recommend this beautiful place!

Spencer's is a great place to go! The avocado toast was excellent and the coffee exceptional! A very comfortable atmosphere. Busy, but not too busy, friendly staff and prices very reasonable. Several unique shops nearby within walking distance. We will definitely be back.

TBH. Took this “off the beaten path” stop on the way from Louisville to San Antonio. It was a perfect mid morning stop for a beverage boost along with some great samiches before continuing our drive to Texas. My cool iced Matcha was earthy and mildly sweet. My chorizo breakfast burrito was delish. My wife and momma enjoyed their croissant’s lightly toasted and filled with thick Country bacon and eggs. So much beyond a road side “instant latte”. Support local and give them a try!

The coffee and food are both fantastic! The lavender flavor is super nice. There is plenty of seating inside and the park right outside. The prices are very affordable! They have cute shirt designs and popsicles for sale as well! They have great vegetarian options and meats can be substituted on the other sandwiches.

We are visiting Bowling Green and we must have gone to 4-5 different coffee shops in our short stay, this is the best one. The store is warm and welcoming, love the old brick building and the quaint ambience. I had my go to Breve Latte, it’s smooth and creamy and delicious. Hubby had the vanilla latte and it doesn’t have the usual chemical after taste that you would get with commercial syrup. Best cup of coffee in Bowling Green!

There aren’t many true coffee shops left where you can spread out and eat good food with delicious coffee. Surprised that the small town shop had such delicious and fresh food. And the regular coffee was delicious too!

Loved this coffee shop! Great selection or coffee and baked goods, awesome cold brew, beautiful latte art and excellent customer service. This shop has okay parking since it’s downtown but it’s easy to find and has a lot of seating. Staff is very knowledgeable and they have a lot of nitro cold brew options.

Absolutely love this place! Best coffee shop in town. Don't be discouraged by the super long line, they're super fast to get you through it & get your order to you. I personally recommend the Vanilla Frappe & the Italian cream soda with coconut 🤤 Unfortunately, they don't offer the Italian cream sodas at their other location. But, they're still highly recommended by me!

Ok the latte mocha was great. But only one person out of 4 was happy or even smiled. The rest looked like their dog got hit. And not one place to sit because the younger people think a table for four is ment for a jacket and bag counting as two. Good greif learn some manners. But other than that I'd highly recommend their coffees!

Local coffee shop right downtown. Tried the green goddess sandwich today for the first time and it was super fresh and tasty. The canned sparkling teas from the fridge are also surprisingly good. Never have had an interaction with staff here that was less than friendly :)

I usually get hot chocolate here (made with half and half) because the coffee I drink isn't in ANY stores around. Excellent hot chocolate. Also I've had several of their menu items....ALL are excellent !!! I just had the vegetarian sandwich, called the Ocarina....I NEVER would have ordered it, ever...because I'm not a Vegetarian (at all) but I got the sandwich by mistake...and it too was exceptional ‼️. So good that I want it next time too ! Can't really go wrong with anything on their menu. 🤍 If only every place in B.G. had the same professionalism, friendliness and consistent quality. 👏🏻

Great coffee and very nice atmosphere. My wife enjoyed her latte and I liked my drip coffee. If we are in Bowling Green again we would definitely visit.

I'm not typically a coffee drinker, but I LOVE Spencer's coffee and food. I love the atmosphere and the people as well. Both locations are always a nice place to relax in. But my favorite place for doing some work is the one on the square, because it has bigger tables and places to plug in.

I spend more time at Spencer’s than I do my own home. The employees are wonderful, always greeting me with a smile, calling me by name, and making me feel welcomed. The coffee and food is consistently well-made. I truly cannot say enough good things about Spencer’s. I’m immensely grateful for their presence in bowling green.

Very good drinks! I wish I had tried their food but I was too full. The cinnamon rolls looked amazing! My wife and I got the Kentucky Fog - iced peach black tea sweetened with vanilla and lavender with oat milk. It was absolutely delicious! Our friend ordered the ginger latte and finished it before we even got home! 100% recommend. Vegan and vegetarian options available.

I just visited for the first time today. WOW! The atmosphere is wonderful there The guy who waited on me was a great CSR, super friendly and informative. I got something called the fall breeze (something like that) and its honestly one of the best coffees I've ever had, maybe in my life. Each sip is layers with different flavors as it's smooth velvety taste wraps your tounge in awesomeness. Coconut, marshmallow, nutmeg, high quality coffee and healthy almond milk. This is my new go to, and it wasn't to pricey A++++++

Absalutly amazing! I had the Cubano and my wife had the latte. Finding a coffee shop that has cubanos on the menu is hard enough. But finding one that does it well is almost impossible outside of Florida. This place nailed it! Prices were really good. And the quality is amazing!! All the workers are very nice. The facilities are extremely clean and we'll kept. Definitely a bit of a student hang out but it is fairly quite even with the people. If I lived here I would come daily!

Surprisingly really delicious coffee, I mean I love and drink coffee mostly all day and there's quite a few places that just have no good coffee, but this outdid McDonald's, Wendy's, actually gave Starbucks a run for its money. I definitely will go back! If you haven't tried you need too!

Delicious! I got their spiced apple latte, and it was wonderful. Good stuff 👍

Great coffee, really nice ambiance with exposed brick and cool vintage vibe furniture. Near the university, so a lot of students studying. I would recommend the iced mocha.

Hands down the best coffee shop in BG! They have extraordinary staff who truly care about their customers and want to connect with their community. The food, drinks, and coffee are all super delicious- they even have rotating seasonal offers! The perfect place to relax, study, and more. This local coffee shop won't disappoint.

Lovely little place. Nice people making coffee beverages. Wanna across the street is a sweet little park. Perfect spot to pick up a pick-me-up on your way to a show.

My favorite spot it downtown BG! Was my favorite spot all throughout college and is a must-have every time I come back in town! Best mocha in town!
