Great Irish bar in a great location in Budapest, drinks are very reasonably priced, and the bartenders are super friendly. Wether it's the quizzes during the week, or the live music on the weekends, you are sure to have a good time.

Love this place! Great pub with a homey atmosphere, but it is also very lively when the games are on or live Music is playing. The staff is always great, the Guinness is always on point and they offer a great whiskey portfolio. It is a bit pricey, but compared to the rest of the Irish pubs, it is perhaps the cheapest and there are affordable options for those with a tighter budget. One of my favourite places in the city, certainly the best Irish pub in Budapest.

Lovely place to grab a pint of Guinness or a Magners. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home. Update… Stop in for the new Irish Pub menu. The Bangers and Mash with Caramelized Onions was spot on. The burgers are a big improvement over those we had on our first trip there. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the breakfast and dinner offerings.

Nice little Irish pub in a city with so little. Bar staff are sound. Prices are a little higher than other pubs but most likely down to the price of importing Irish beer and guiness which is completely understandable. The only place that was home away from home in Budapest!

Originally I gave it 4 stars, because it's not exactly mind blowing or anything. You shouldn't visit Budapest to eat or drink here. But then I was thinking to myself: Budapest would be a much better place if I could name 10-20 places like this, but I really can't. I can name places where the food is better, the restroom is shinier, but not a lot where you'll feel like it's an honest, decent place, by people like you for people like you. In many Western cities, this would be good, solid or just decent. In Budapest it's rather unique. An island of the West, Ireland to be specific.

Honestly one of the best; if not THE BEST Irish pub in the Budapest. This is the only location to grab yourself a fresh pint of Guinness like it’s straight from the taps of Ireland... or if you’re looking for a chill evening while enjoying a good ‘ol Soproni, you’ll get that too. Prices are reasonable, beer is cold, staff are exceptional. You seriously can’t ask for more.

Great pub, great staff, great atmosphere. A fun and relaxing place to have a drink or two. Back in action after a long lockdown, come down and enjoy a pint of Guinness the patio is open and the atmosphere is great.

Really nice bar in Budapest, with lovely staff. Me and a few friends are travelling and visited here on a Sunday evening, it was very nice and very cheap. I highly recommend.

If you’re an expat, you need to check out Davy’s. This is a great hangout spot for English speakers and a fun vibe for watching sports games or enjoying trivia! Food is great! Beers are a little pricey but not outrageous

Had a lovely afternoon watching the Celtic match yesterday. Bar staff very friendly and helpful, a must visit bar for any Celtic-minded person when in Budapest.. or any other football team for that matter. Cheers 🍻

Don’t know about anything else, but the Guinness is the best I’ve had outside Ireland. I’m from England and it beats any I’ve had there.

Watched the World Cup Final as a tourist here yesterday, it was an amazing experience as the pub was very welcome to any rugby entheusiast. The guiness was poured to perfection as well.

One of the best pints of Guinness I've had outside of the UK and Ireland. Great atmosphere with the rugby on tv and plenty of folk enjoying themselves. A big shout out to Owen (apologies if spelt wrong) for taking pride in the quality of the Guinness and looking after customers 👌

Very good irish beer and cider! The staff was soo friendly and nice! We loved the place so we went there every night of our trip. The vibe was just right. Would definitely recommend it!

Friendly service and the food was great. Sunday afternoon after a long day of travelling; the Irish Breakfast burger was outstanding. Fancy a game of pool or darts, they're here.

The ambiance and overall look and feel of the pub was okay and not so great. I attended a pub quiz at this place and found that the pricing was on a bit expensive side, both drinks and food. Also keep in mind that there are less options for vegan or vegetarian when it comes to food or snacks.

A friendly Irish pub. Staff speaks English well. Went for the FA cup final and was not disappointed, the game was showing on the big screen. Had some chicken wings and they were very delicious. Beers were a little bit more expensive than other pubs.

What can I say about this pub? The atmosphere for all the European championship games was absolutely electric! I've been in for non football nights such as the open mic nights and the weekly quiz and you'll never feel more at home as you will in Davy Byrnes. Brian and Tim will make you feel at home every night of the week no matter what the occasion. If you're in the mood for a bit of food too then you will be looked after with some great pub grub. Hands down one of the finest spots in Budapest 👌

Number one priority for an Irish pub is to offer a decent pint of Guinness and this place does not disappoint - a lovely pint. It's a very friendly place with a large display for watching TV sports. Could do with some ventilation though, it's just below ground level and the windows cannot be opened for air.

This is a great Irish bar run by really friendly guys. Very good Guinness and the best option I found for watching sport during my time in Budapest (I passed a couple of other Irish bars and they weren't showing the Premier League for example)

The go-to Irish local in town. Maybe not the coziest decor, but don't let that put you off, it's really a community that meets here. Awesome music and pub quiz, a bit of home away from home. Try the Timco brews!

Playing Wimbledon instead of the all Ireland semi final?! Definitely not an “Irish” bar so. Just in response for the below, two screens in the main bar showing Wimbledon including a projector, bar half empty. Sauna of a back room showing all Ireland with people standing as they’re not enough seats of space. Not prioritising all Ireland therefor not an Irish bar.

Just visited the place with my family some hours ago, we have not been to Ireland yet, but the place is cosy, extremely helpful and friendly staff, really enjoyed ourselves, worth to visit!

Easily the best pint of Guinness in Budapest! It is a bit pricy in comparison to other places, though they make up for it with excellent service, friendly staff and that feeling of being at "home" when you walk in. Also the live music and the quiz nights are really great! Keep it up guys!

Had a great time casually chatting with the bartender and some of the regulars. Excellent beer and even better whiskey. I will definetly come back to this place when visiting Budapest.

Awesome authentic place! Live Music every weekend and a perfect place to party or just to crab a Irish car bomb (if you don’t know what it is, try it!) during the day.

Nice little bar, good priced drinks

Cellar bar. Quite dark. Extremely limited range of beer on tap and bottle. One projector screen and one TV showing matches in the bar area and a pool table somewhere in a back room. A warmer welcome and a bit of banter from staff would be nice too (it wasn't busy). Our group left after one drink. You can find a better Irish pub experience elsewhere in Budapest.

My favorite Irish pub in Budapest. The staff is very friendly. They have some nice beers on tap like Guinness and TimCo craft beers. If you hungry you need to try the bar food too. They have a great selection of Irish food and also burgers.
