Although the hostel provides nice breakfast and provides 3 free drinks I still cannot really recommend this hostel. The pool has an abundance of chlorine so it’s not nice to swim in at all and the tours are absolutely overpriced and very underwhelming unfortunately. Additionally, I had a problem in my room where I stepped in glass from a broken bottle that someone in my room had (i believe) thrown across the room and not cleaned up. There was glass in my bed and on the floor next to it. Although I understand that this is not the hostels fault, they did in no way offer by themselves to fix this problem for me and I had to repeatedly come back to ask them to clean it better and eventually to change the room as it’s absolutely ridiculous that I am paying for a bed/space with glass everywhere. In no way did anyone offer to make up for this in any way which was very disappointing. I even mentioned this at the reception how it really affected the stay but did not get a response to this either, so therefore I am writing this review..

Rooms were hot and our toilet was leaking, also our friend got his wallet stolen on the first night of our stay by a volunteer (we were able to review cctv cameras for proof). The hostel was unable to provide any compensation for over $100 US that was taken out of the wallet. Overall disappointing stay.

I have to agree a little with other hosts who also wrote reviews that the pool was a little over-floured, the trips were also slightly overpriced, but nothing that would prevent us from a trip to Masaya. Our room was right next to the restroom, so at night and in the morning we were woken up by others banging on the door and having fun by the washroom. Nice hostel with good ambiance but still quiet at night because the bar stops selling alcohol at 10pm. 3 free drinks for every guest between 6 and 7 pm. The pool is clean and the restaurant is delicious. The free breakfasts are a bit basic though. Overall highly recommend.

We were planning to stay for one week and stayed 3! This hostel is the best. Incredible atmosphere, common areas, activities every day, amazing tours and parties (but never at the hostel so you can always sleep well). They organice stuff daily, like beer pon competitions, salsa nights, visits to volcanoes, trivia, booze cruises, sunset boats, trips to Laguna de Apoyo... Honestly, every day is a new adventure and fun. Also ideal if you want to chill by the pool or in the lobby. The kitchen is awesome. The rooms are comfortable and big. We stayed in double private and in dorms, and we didn't have a single complaint. Especial mention to LESTHER, night shift. He looked after us like a friend. He made our stay perfect and we will miss him so much! Also to JULY at reception. The most helpful and friendly. If you need anything, she will get it! And special mention to LEO at the bar! Stayed there for 10 amazing days. I didn't want to leave. The staff and volunteers were realy nice. The hostel is so clean you can eat from the floor. And the activities every night are very fun.

They have *Amazing* pancake in the morning and also coffee. A great kitchen, a nice Pool, and a nice billiard table. This might be the best hostel we stayed at in our whole trip. The best thing about this place is that its super quiet in the evening, and it doesn’t have that whole “dumb-loud-people-wannaparty-shittymusic” vibes. Is quiet and people are just chill and polite and respect each others space and quiet. And the kitchen is really useful. This place is realy fantastic, I highly Recommend. Don’t miss their amazing rooftop area, its super chill and always empty.

If your a bit of a loner then this isn't the hostel for you. Very cool spot with heaps going on day & night. The actual hostel itself is beautifully set out, clean & has a kinda beachy feel to it. The swimming pool helps with that. We had an absolute blast staying here. Met a lot of people & had some crazy times. The breakfast in the morning is tasty as & some mornings really needed with some strong coffee. It's close to everything in town so easy enough to get around. The staff were friendly & always happy to help with our questions.

Great but HUGE hostel. The vibe is nice and the free drinks is a nice way to meet new people. Because it is so big though, groups form fast. The is no vegan breakfast option. The staff was always helpful, even if you wanted to do something on your own though they had a tour version. The kitchen was well organised and cleaned often. We had a private room and it was hard to cool off in the evenings, we also lay awake all 3 nights due to a lot of noise from neighbours. During the day the pool is really nice to cool down in :)

This hostel was really fairly priced, and came with good perks. couldn’t give it a 5 start though due to just some weird vibes from staff & the room was EXTREMELY hot. It did have a fan but it was tbh the worst fan (loud, barely worked, kept me up all night). Paid about 20$ for a private and shared bathroom, there was filtered water for free, 3 free drinks included every night from 6-7 (which seemed pretty quick, but loved that they encouraged the social aspect). the pool was VERY chemically, and freezing but i love a cold plunge so couldn’t complain too much. overall good experience and always had something going on. i’m not a social person and am traveling not to party with people so if that’s your vibe it’s a good choice. very central, good location.

Not a bad Hostel, great for people without responsibilities yet. Oasis is good Hostel resort for cheugy energy, frills, and staying on the backpacking cycle. As an adult, I did feel babysat when it was Friday night at 10:55 and was told to go to my room. After working all week, I wanted to sit on the roof terrace and listen to music quietly.

I spent one month at this hostel and absolutely loved it. The staff is amazing, the location is perfect and they have free drinks and breakfast. I would definitely recommend !
