You will find horse carriages to take trips around the city and sculptures made by famous Nicaraguan artist. During the night, although it looks slightly scary, don't worry, police is always near by so don't worry about walking there at night, you will be safe. I truly enjoy being near.

A beautiful central park, treed shade, manicured, clean with gazebos & open aired eateries and WiFi. As a foreigner I felt comfortable chillin on a park bench, you feel that it is a protected space.

The park has a potential but it is dirty. And to get there you need to cross the most dangerous streets I have ever seen. No traffic lights, no pedestrian walkways, the whole city is a mess when it comes to merging traffic with pedestrian tourism. Also the city has an awful driving culture. No car stops for pedestrians.
