BE CAREFUL with your belongings in the lockers. After some days of leaving my things inside the lockers, I realized everyday after I was missing some cash. They’re so “smart” that just take some notes so you don’t realize. The last day I leave it on I way I would realize if they put their hand inside my bag and they did. Disgusting. They touched and moved all my things looking for money. When I complained, the owner became extremely aggressive, at a point I got scared and just left. I talked about this situation to some people also renting there and they realized they were doing the same with them. Not honest scary people.

Had a great time. Price is good 350k IDR and includes surfboard, 2 hours lesson with max. 2 students per teacher, acryl shirt, sun protection, drinking water and shower. The teacher was good and explained things very well. Had a lot of fun in the water!

I had a couple of amazing days with Komang who was an amazing teacher. Really patient, safe and hilarious! Most importantly he got me surfing more waves than I ever have in the past! Looking forward to coming back here soon

Don't rent a board here if you can surf. Unfortunately, I tried renting a longboard here twice for cruising on the smaller days. Both felt like surfing a door. You can't expect an excellent board from a rental, but every other longboard I've rented in the area has been super fun, turned well etc. I came back after 15 minutes to switch to my own shortboard because the longboard I had rented was a joke. I asked for some of the money back, they told me no refund, it's my fault that I've changed my mind. Big difference from the super nice guys in the shops at Batu bolong parking.

Great place to learn surfing. Long left and lazy right, just like John John sad. ❤️ Name of the place is so accurate, becouse russians over took this place and now you can see all kinds here, starting from Kooks, to not so local surf instructors. Fun wave with some 7footers. Yiuuu 🤙🏾

Good long left and lazy right when it's pumping. Full of Russian Kooks when the waves are small. They will drop in on anybody who manage to catch an unbroken wave.

My wife and I had our first ever surf lessons here. They were upfront with the price (350k each - competitive in the area) for a 1-on-1 lesson each. Much needed with out lack of skills! The instructors were brilliant, patient, informative and pushing us when required. Would highly recommend!

After hearing from some local surfers they recommend these guys to learn surfing, I had my first surf lesson here and it was a great experience. They teached me so much not only about how to stand on your board, but how to read the waves, ocean and how to respond in which situations. I really recommend this place to learn how to surf, and also to recognize when and where it's safe to surf after you had your first lesson(s).

Prices are same as Batu Bolong beach: 50k for 2-hr rental, 100k for rental full day (I think), and 350k for 1-day lessons. They have rash guards, if you forget to bring 👍🏼 They have fresh water tap for your to rinse off; they have hooks for you to hang your bags; and they have motorbike parking too. A couple guys were helpful and patient with me — in picking out a board and letting me know what time is best to surf 👍🏼 You can talk to them about reserving a board that you like (they’ll do it if they remember lol). They’ve got different sizes, both hard and soft tops. Four-years ago, there was one guy running this shack, now there seems to be 2-4 new guys doing it and they’ve got an actual shop... How things have changed!!!

Did a private lesson with Sam, what an amazing, compassionate and competent teacher!

My boyfriend and I did two days of two hour lessons with Sam and Anwar, and loved our experience! They were amazing teachers, and we loved how positive they were which helped build up our confidence. Additionally, Sam also went above and beyond and provided us guidance on how to progress past the beginner surfboards in future lessons. As a rental shop, everyone was helpful and friendly, prices were competitive, and there were bins for us to store our belongings in. Would highly recommend!
