Our daughter was not latching well to the breast and was not gaining weight. Besides, it hurt me a lot. The pediatrician told us that it looked like he had type 4 submucous frenum that had gone unnoticed at the hospital and recommended that we go to the Marès Riera Institute. What a success! Cristina Marès is an up-to-date professional, trained in breastfeeding and very pleasant to deal with both us and the little girl. He informed us of everything before doing the frenectomy but also told us that it does not always solve breastfeeding problems. He explained to us how to do the recovery exercises - there are places where they don't even make you do them - and scheduled two follow-up visits, at two weeks and at two months. We had our last visit yesterday and our daughter has been supplement free for three weeks now so we are very happy! Thanks!

Cristina Mares is a great professional and you can see her great experience in the sector. Our baby had a frenulum problem that no pediatrician had detected (everyone said they saw it well since it was a submucosa that was difficult to determine), which caused enormous injuries to the mother and a lot of pain. After a tiring month with a finger and syringe and breast pump (to try to relate later), Cristina saw it clearly after a study and performed a frenectomy, after explaining to us in great detail what it consisted of, and what it could entail. The change has been drastic, and in less than a week the baby is already breastfeeding 100% at the breast without problem. We also took the opportunity to make the earrings with Gemma Riera, and although we were afraid that they might not be centered, you can tell that she has been making them all her life, we couldn't be happier with the final result. We highly recommend Cristina and the clinic if you have any suspicion of a possible limiting frenulum.

Super happy with this center, especially with Dr. Serra and the respiratory physio Mireia for being a sweetheart to my 4-month-old baby and being the only ones to help him heal from endless bronchitis that there was no way to cure!
