Bellesguard Tower Casa Figueras, better known as Torre Bellesguard, was designed by the modernist architect Antoni Gaudí and built between 1900 and 1909. It is located at the foot of the Collserola mountain range. In the land where the house was built, there was a castle in medieval times erected by Martin I the Human, the last king of Aragon belonging to the House of Barcelona. It was this monarch who baptized the place as Bellesguard ("beautiful view"), for its magnificent panoramic view of the Barcelona plain.

Tower designed by Gaudi. You can visit gardens and part of the house. There is no furniture.

Amazing visit during Covid-19 times with a guide, only 10 euros well worth it. We were almost the first group in the day and it was a great experience, and the lighting was beautiful at 11 AM. Gaudí never fails!

A less known (visited by tourists) work by Gaudi. No less beautiful than the others. Check the opening hours before your visit. A bit far from the center but worth it. I RECOMMEND !!!

This place is beaufitul. It has very nice and well kept gardens and a beautiful little-known building designed by Antoni Gaudi. We attended a lovely event with food trucks and a concert, and I have to say we had a great experience. This place offers the greatest atmosphere. Sadly, we did not have the opportunity to do the tour, however I will write it down for the next time.

An interesting work of Gaudi in recreating a medieval castle. As with all his other work, noticing the details is half the fun. Definitely worth a visit even though it’s not in a touristy area

A fantastic hidden Gaudi gem ! The place is quiet and hard to reach, so less touristy, which is enjoyable. It's a fascinating place with surprising history. The genius of Gaudi is there without a doubt. It's a pure peace haven. The audio guide is perfect, with one minute commentaries you can speed up. Amazing all in all!

This place was awesome. The grounds outside were beautiful. The history of the place was fascinating and it was not overrun with tourists in August! The tour of the inside of the house is spectacular and the views from the roof are the best I've seen of Barcelona all the way down to the sea. In typical Gaudi style the outside is busy and ornate while the inside is understated and elegant.

If you're traveling in Barcelona, you have to go there. It is just a work of art and ultimately a church. Simply beautiful inside and out. You should take your time and visit.

Nice place, very quiet and with few visitors, unlike the other Gaudì buildings. Amazing panoramic view from the rooftop of the building.

Audio guide is no longer available due to COVID-19. Guided tour (10€) is mandatory and the guide couldn’t explain well in English although she made her best efforts. I had to pick up words that she couldn’t speak out.... it was worth visiting though. The view from the rooftop is amazing. Personally I would visit Bellesguard than visiting other scenic observatories in the city as it appears to be one of the highest spots you can see the entire view of Barcelona. Plus there are other places around it where you can see Gaudi’s touch.

Beautiful place with interesting history. Very helpful staff who have provided us with some unknown facts. Worth trip despite it’s quite far from tourist centre. From the top of the building there’s a “view to kill”.

One of the odder Gaudi creations and definitely off the beaten tourist path. When we began our midmorning tour we were joined by a grand total of four other people. And were the only ones in the house at the time. Stylistically different from Gaudi's city center buildings Bellesguard was a cool departure from the other architecture we had seen downtown. It's also less expensive to visit and you truly get solitude. Without giving up the detailed work and of course height. The tour goes up the main tower and through several rooms plus of course the roof. It may not be top of list for architecture itineraries but slot it in if you can.

We bought audio guide (it will be on your phone, do take headphones) and pretty content. To listen and walk i recommend to come for 1h 20 min better, though we did in 1 hour, but I would prefer more

Just amazing architecture & views from the top! Very impressive Gaudi peace of work. Not very well known as it’s a little out of the way.

The small group in front of us rushed through, so we had this place to ourselves. And it was stunning.

A wonderful monument to Gaudi's creative vision, and Barcelona's wealth of history. Lost a star due to the impersonal audio tour.

Hidden gem in Barcelona! It’s a bit out of the way so it’s less touristy. The audio guide was very informative. My 9 year old son and I were immersed and educated. We had fun checking out the genius acoustics of the bench. And seeing the “face of the dragon” at the very top of the tower.

It’s a very nice place to visit. Lots of history here and very well organized guided audio tour. This is a bit out of the touristy areas but it’s a quiet place to explore another piece of Barcelona history.

Warm welcome, friendly explanation of grounds (with map), but the interior of the manner house is not to be missed, the views are beautiful and your tour guide is amazing!

Nice place to visit and isn’t too busy, they have an audio guide for 2 euros more then standard entry which tells you alot.

Beautiful place away from the crowd. Tickets must be purchased beforehand, there are guided tours and audioguide tours. Interesting building with gorgeous details, nice view and a pleasant garden to enjoy some peace.

Semi-guided tour. Good views of the city from the top of the tower. The interior architecture has some nice details but is largely barren. Only the tower is included in the tour, most of the building is not. Thus the entry fee seems a bit high (9 euro) for what the tour offers, compared to, say, Palau Guel. Still okay for a short stop.

Beautiful and kind castle far from noisy city center, with interesting architecture style, cool small park around and amazing views from rooftop and few small terraces. Now there is a limitations if you want to visit it, but it’s still possible))

This should be top of the list to do in Barcelona. The compound is beatiful and screams of Gaudi inside and out. The audio tour was fantastic and the staff were very pleasant. History, beautiful architecture, and gorgeous view of Barcelona. And all for 9 euros?!?!

It’s interesting building to see. Also you can enter the building and go on its rooftop with the guide. The price is around 10 euro.

Surrounded by a wall so it’s not really visible from the street, and it looked like you had to be a customer of the restaurant to go in (even late at night). I didn’t ask or try, though. There were some cool arches on the other side of the street I looked at instead.

We were very fortunate and grateful to be given an English” private tour” because we were the only ones there at 2pm. It was supposed to be a Spanish tour. Beautiful place and amazing view!

Great visit l, currently the first noble floors are under renovation so only a visit of the staircases and roof terraces is allowed. But more than great already. Audioguide on personal phone.

Really nice building and area. We had an interesting guided tour and we like it a lot. The views from the top are really good. Maybe it is not as popular as other buildings because it is not in the center but if you have some time, visit it.

Stunning gaudi work off the beaten path. Worth the visit, feel like a local and discover a unique masterpiece. Great views!

Exceptional hidden gem of the modernism in Barcelona. Really worth a visit which is well explained with the audioguide. Incredible architecture by Gaudi and not really touristic place. Exceptional view from the top of it. Really worth a visit.

Very curious and unknown building by Gaudí. Although less magnificent than the rest in Barcelona, it has the special mark of its genial creator.

I recommend this highly. not a typical tourist spot. More for locals.
