It's a 1km short hike to Basilica and you can also opt for a mini train which costs around 2-3€ per person. We visited during the weekend and it was not overcrowded instead we explored the whole place very peacefully. During the trek, you will come across the whole city view and it's beautiful. Entry ticket price:- 5€ for regular visitor and 2€ for students with valid ID card. Overall it was a great experience studying the history of this place along with seeing the paintings and old artifacts.

Get ready to feel lost… the beauty of this church amazed me, like the majority of those vowed to the Virgin Mary. There is no centimetre of the church that has not been decorated, embellished or have and intarsia. Breathtaking!
