Nice clean Railway station. Seating arrangement made at platform for passengers. Good number of important train pass through here. Outside the station, good number of taxis, sharing autos available

The floor is clean and the room is large enough. Usually the queue is long but before 7.00 am in morning I found it short every time. The booking clerk was very helpful, sophisticated and also very quick.

Wide hall area for passengers, few counters are working at a time, now lift installation alongside foot overbridge ongoing. Overall clean platforms.

This station is situated in the khargapur to adra line of the SER division of the Indian railway. You can easily get trains for khargapur as well as adra, bhaga, bhojudih, gomoh, mahuda, bishnupur etc from here. There are small food vendors on platform no 1 . The food options available are somewhat good. Though I shall push you towards packaged food options here. Drinking water facility is ample here. Railfanning and seating options are ample here. You van easily get bus for durgapur asansol, shimlapal, bishnupur, arambagh from just out side the station.

It has changed a lot. Now lifts are there in platform no.1 and near the entrance of the station. One thing is necessary to be added is the display board for the coch position for the convenience of the passengers as few express trains stop for 2min only.

It is situated at Lalbazar, Bankura town in Bankura district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Numerous express trains stop here. Bankura Junction This is really so big station. I went there last Sunday 🌅 🌅 🌅. I saw many trains in different junction. The atmosphere is pleasant but there are some garbage beside the tracks. Although I like this station for a pleasant journey. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

One of the best stations I ever seen. Good housekeeping. Cleaned , pleasure place to board train. Very systematic in all functions of this railway station. New elevator will install soon

Bankura is my home town.. Bankura rail station is not a very big station.. It's ok... evening is good...but night time railway coch indicator r not working..

The station is notably spacious, and the ticket counter exhibits a substantial size as well.

Nice stations all over clean but I have no idea why platform fen is not working, some people are feeling bad because platform fan is not working, and train time is very bad me come to 11.30am to going to machada station but any local train is not available unfortunately one local train time 4pm😫 i no idea why begist time table gafe.

Good station. Escalator, Elevator still not available (Under construction). Waiting lounges are clean and staffs well behaved.

Bankura Junction. What I tell about it. It is totally same from beginning when it started, atleast from when I saw. No improvement about customer services. Infact there are nothing to help customers know which compartment is coming which place of platform. But yes now day's in Bankura Junction have Lift but that's not sufficient for customer. They have a lot of things to improve.

I love stations. But this class B station is beautiful and well decorated. You can find first class, second class waiting rooms, public toilets, tea stalls, gift stalls. You can easily cover your waiting time by walking around in the station. Currently more advancements are going on. Hope it turns out prettier.

Clean platforms, adequate seating arrangements, functional announcement systems and giant screens. And yeah restrooms are much better than other category B stations..

A neat and clean station, and also it's getting renovated. Lifts are also getting installed for public convenience. Overall a good and nice experience.

Nice ,the counter is small but clean and peacefull . you can park your car on the front side of counter.two wheeler or four wheeler.3 platforms are here.

So, I have been; in a way a regular visitor to this place. so giving a short glimpse of it . 1. It's decent enough if we talk about hygiene believe me i have been to many stations of North and Central India and in comparison to those I am drawing this conclusion. 2. You are informed about train, it's platform no. arriving or cancellation status regularly so in that way also it's good. 3. Food courts are available in case you are hungry :) So, Wish you happy journey guys !

A famous tour spot in West Bengal is Bankura. Tourist from here goes to Bishnupur teracotta villages and temple. Jor Bangla Mandir. Purulia Shusuniya Hill and Maithon Dam also.

Beautiful and clean station and adjoining area, but the frequency of the train is too lower.

Just a usual railway station adorned with terracotta sculpture...Has atm, elevator, and all other facilities anyone would normally require in a station.

To be honest, the station is very calming and chilled. The Railway staff and officers do their jobs very well and the Public toilet is quite clean. The lift facility is under construction.

This area is very clean and stuffs are so polite. Three platforms are here. But the ticket counter's man not always available at Night. You can use the ATM machine.

Nothing unusual than other stations which should be mentioned specifically. Just the location is a bit far from main town(as this is my hometown). Other than that all necessary facilities are available including free Wifi.

I experienced Bankura Railway station very nicely because outside there was an old engine statue it was the middle of parking lot there were 3 platforms. I explored all the three platforms. First platform I saw that so many goods were loading on gondola. Next in second platform I saw all memu were going and a in third platform also. I saw in platform 3 there was a track maintanence which so many people were working on the maintanence I enjoyed it nicely.

the place where the station situated is very conguested and there is not good transportation system and the bus stand is very far away, main station should be shipped to newly made Katjuridanga Station which is near to bus stand and Bankura Sammilani Medical College And hospital.

The station is very beautiful and neat and clean.

Very bad infrastructure. No lift , no escalator for aged or physically challenged persons. The stepping of stairs are high. The side handels of stairs are not good like other stations. Toilet in no 1 platform is very dirty.

Every other things are ok but the Announcement system is pathetic. Authority should take a note...

Important and beautiful railway Station in Bankura district

Display board for coach position removed for unknown reason.however they are announcing just before the train enters the station.on 29th sep2022 they announced that ckp howrah passenger will come after 35 min late but actually the train came after 90 min late.but there was not single word about this late.just like passengers are negligible object to them.horrible for passengers.

Kharagpur–Bankura–Adra line was opened in 1901. This railway track including Bankura Junction railway station was electrified in 1997–98. Old narrow-gauge Bankura–Damodar Railway (also called as Bankura Damodar River Railway) connecting Bankura and Rainagar in Bankura and Bardhaman districts was opened to traffic in sections between 1916 and 1917. In 2005, the 118 kilometer-long railway section known as Bankura Mosagram  was converted to 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in) broad gauge.The whole track was electrified in 2018–19

Nothing special. But the staircase is horrible. There is urgent need for Escalator or Lift. Shed is missing at many places, it creates inconvenience during rain. Display also not available due to this which is a big issue if you are catching a long route train.

Station compound is neat and clean. There is an upper class waiting room. Only hurdle very less number of passenger trains available pass by this location.

Strange and disgusting... It's now 11pm but inside the station there is not a single shop open. Not even you will get a water bottle. It's crowded now.. all are waiting for the train here now. I am surprised with no basic facilities.
