Took normal Non AC room , during guruvayur temple visit. It is very close to west nada of the temple, very convenient , only walking distance. Reasonable price . There is amble space for parking. People in the reception are helpful. Non AC rooms are just normal ,like rooms in average lodges, but its kept neat and clen, toilets were also clean. Heater was there in toilet , we took two rooms , in both of them heater was not working, old box type small television kept at each room , not sure if its working. Then most negative thing according to me is that , no Lift available, and stairs are steep , difficult for aged people, saw few people struggling. At the ground floor , there is restaurant.

Rooms, Hospitality, Service are not up to the mark for the money we pay. The AC deluxe room cost 2300 per night but the rooms are actually worth for maximum of 1300 per night. Rooms are very untidy, Bathroom was stinking. This hotel was not like this few years back. When I went for a stay a day before I was shocked to see the stay facilities and run across all the available rooms to find out a better one for me but all the rooms are maintained very badly and we don't even feel to touch on floors and walls beocz of untidiness. The Only comfortable is it's very near to temple and beocz of this they take advantage of looting more money from customers. On the positive front I would appreciate the cook at their restaurant, beocz whatever he/ she cooked was delicious and clean. I request the hotel management to atleast take initiative to maintain the rooms to minimum standard for the cost you charge on us else you will end up with no customers. Dear visitors, kindly enquire about the hotel before you plan a stay there. Don't depend on images available on Google/ other booking sites beocz all those are taken years back when hotel was maintained well. Now everything is upside down. Thank you.

Location is excellent. ample parking space and in house restaurant (we didt try though). We walked in and checked the rooms before we booked. The staff were friendly, and they have good space for kids. very close to west nada of guruvayur temple.

I recently stayed at Rajavalsam Hotel, located near West Nada, Guruvayoor. This is an old hotel with a lot of history and character, and my experience there was quite memorable. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. One of the standout features of this hotel was the restaurant. The food was delicious and the restaurant was tidy and well maintained. The location of the hotel was also quite convenient, with easy access to the Guruvayoor temple. I was able to easily explore the town and surrounding areas from this central location. Overall, I had a wonderful experience staying at Rajavalsam Hotel. While it may not be the most modern or luxurious hotel in the area. If you're looking for an affordable and comfortable stay in Guruvayoor, I highly recommend giving this old hotel a try.

Thor was working with his hammer from 11PM to 2AM (maintenance work). Seriously? When people are sleeping? What kind of idiots run this hotel?! Charged 850/- for a night and couldn't sleep at all. Felt like I could have slept in the car with A/C on and it wouldn't cost as much. Bathroom flush was leaking and there was no hot water. In short, spent 850 to store our 2 pieces of luggage for a night and to lie down in the bed awake. And no bedsheet or blanket. Pathetic accommodation.

I recently had a stay at this hotel and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The bathroom had an unpleasant odor, and there was a leak from the AC that spread water all over the room. The towels provided were very old and poor quality and it clearly indicates that how Rajavalsam treat their guests. These issues significantly impacted the quality of my stay. All these shows, they management does not want to improve the quality instead of money making. I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving the overall experience for their guests.

Too expensive for such cheap quality room. Do not expect anything fancy. But very very near to the temple. Good option if u just want a couple of hours sleep after a long journey and visit temple the next morning.

We stayed in a standard non AC room. Room shows on websites are different from the original. The appearance of the room is not that much good and could have been maintained better. Real Advantage is hotel located near the temple.

Only AC rooms has lift facility.. Positive is very close to temple.

Overall that place is good for stay. Service is worse 😕. Room is good💫. Its good vibe place overall around.. Its so close to guruvayur temple. Just have to walk.. A/C room is expensive but its so better💯.. In all way.. Just this services available is pulling back there value.

The hotel is just next door to the temple and the location just helps a lot. The hotel is a large one with many rooms. Then Non AC rooms are not that good, so AC rooms are advisable. The rate is very good as it has a marriage hall which can accommodate a good party. The restaurant at the hotel also is n advantage. Overall a good place to stay in the temple town.

This is a very old hotel in the temple town of Guruvayur. Formerly this was known as Guruvayur Lodgings, was renovated and added an A/c marriage hall with attached dining hall. The marriage hall is spacious and can accomodate around 800-1000 persons.

Had a non AC room for 9K. Small room with okay space but neat toilet. For Hot Water, we have to rely to pipe outside our room n we mist carry hot water to our rooms in an aluminium bucket. Advise only to people with limited budget.

Pathetic hotel!very dirty rooms and stinking bathrooms. Tiles are very old and it’s very slippery as they don’t care about cleaning. Rooms stink the moment you get inside. Can’t open the window also as they have a special drainage right outside the window which is broken!! Don’t book rooms checking the Looks of hotel! There are tons of other rooms available in Guruvayur.

Was there during guruvayoor temple visit. Prime location and can easily reach there without any doubts . It is located in West nada of temple, 5min walk from room to temple. The negative part is the foul smell in the toilets and through the manholes outside the premise. They should take proper action to remove the mosquitos inside the room with pleasent odour floor cleaners. Thanks!!!

Stayed here for a night. This hotel is right near the Guruvayoor West Nada entrance. The rooms were clean and hygenic, professional and friendly staff. Overall a great experience and would recommend it.

No hot water was available in washroom. Room telephone was completely dead. Hence I was not able to contact to reception or room service. Every time I had run down to contact reception. The situation was very bad in other rooms where my fellow travelers were staying.

Located three minutes walk from the guruvayur temple. Marriage hall is on the third floor is spacious and airy. There are elevators. Dining hall below is quite large. Food both snacks and meals are well prepared and served hot.

Rates are high compared to the services they provide. The location is the main advantage of this place. The west entrace to the temple is at a walkable distance. At room they did not provide any blanket or toiletries. Other facilities were ok.

Matter of prime importance is water from washbasin inside bathroom is very offensive,Foul smelling like that of decayed smell and ugly taste..Just washed my mouth once, i vomited. Even my hands were smelling that of decayed water. I bought Mineral water to wash my mouth Very poor room service, TVwas not working. I stayed there on August23 night 2022

The room was Clean and good but the cost is little bit high they have inbuilt restaurant the food was good cost was average and the hotel was very near to temple..

If you are in Guruvayoor for an overnight Temple Darshan (like reaching here in the evening and having a quick Darshan and then, having the divine Darshan at 3am in the morning) then Hotel Rajavalsam in the West Nada is a good place. I normally take a non-AC room here and it's good and affordable. Guruvayoor Temple is a 2 min walk from here. They have a Restaurant/AC-Rooms/ATM as well.
