A la carte menu has very limited choices and a long wait. Buffet is expensive, especially if you stay here - since there aren't other options. Spread is good, and mostly quite tasty.

Actually I wanted to give 3.5 Star but there was no option so couldn't give. Overall the place is very neat and clean. Well maintained gardens. Good walk area inside. Overall pleasant. Staff behaviour is very good. There are nice flowers. However couple of points which I felt a bit different. One the price is too high compared to my overall experience and facilities. I had to spend more than 30 K for 3 nights , which I felt was very high compared to it's overall experience I had though it had included two times food. Food was good. The lake is not close to the resort anymore. So there is not awesome view of lake from the room. From some places it is visible but it's little far. Few more small points are also there but just skipping. That is why I felt it is 3.5 out of 5 in my personal feelings.

Stay was good but the attitude of room service people was lack lustre and casual. Less space in dining hall with inadequate service. In the evening at 8.30 pm some food items were exhausted and no one bothered to take care of that. Food was cold and not good to eat. When they know the number of people booked they should know amount of food required for themThey push for combined package for dinner and breakfast and don’t have adequate amount of food . I asked for roti and it did not come till I left the place. They come in 5 star catagory but don’t care and don’t look like a 5 star. They take money and their job is done They need to pull up their socks especially on weekends

Horrible service. Took more than one hour to serve the food. Food also was not worth waiting so long. I do not recommend dining here.

Food is having ordinary taste with higher price and normal serve portion.Service is not good and they keep you wait longer time and recommend soup as a starter.Even you spending a lot wouldn't satisfy your crave.I don't recommend for dining here.

Enjoyed the change and different views from Sterling Valley. Food was great. Rooms could be a tad bigger but loved the colour scheme and decor of the room. Please raise up the toilet paper dispenser. Gets drenched.

Nearly the perfect place to stay in Kodaikanal. The room, service, and food were all very very good. Breakfast was expansive, as was lunch and dinner. They also packed superb sandwiches for our return train journey. One of the best experiences we had everyday was to get up at 0530, make a cup of tea, and sit outside to watch the sun rise. There was a lone bird that would sit on a post, and dive every now and then to grab a worm. In addition, there were a bunch of Mynahs that would chatter and chase worms on the lawn. To top it all was the lake becoming visible, and gentle mists rolling across the mountains. What more can one ask for?

Really good place to enjoy the climate

The food was very good compared to outside restaurants in Kodaikanal. We opted for breakfast and dinner package (Veg and Non-Veg). Breakfast is the best, and it's typical South indian dishes along with continental breakfast. Dinner is again a mix of South indian, North indian and desserts. There are many options for both breakfast and dinner. So it's worth trying the buffet here. I really appreciate Manager hariharan, who is very helpful and keen on taking feedback from many customers. He considers our personal requests as well to make any adjustments to food or prepare any additional dishes. Overall, it's a pleasant location and warm service and it's worth dining here !!! There is DJ at night along with Bonfire in the terrace.

Worst buffet,worst restaurant ever. Food is tasteless,saltless. Third class buffet and that too,quite expensive. Deeply regret having gone to the restaurant for dinner during our stay in the hotel. It was a total waste of money,would have been better to sleep empty stomach rather than spend so much money at such a bogus dinner buffet.
