This burial cave is a protected monument (open air) and the location and surrounding is clean and tidy. Little bit far from main highway ,still worthfull to watch. Entry is free..and open for 24 hrs. Located on the side of road. You can reach by car or mini buses. Heavy vehicle may face difficult to reach here because nearest road is not broad enough. Nearest landmark is kovilan Smruthi Mandapam, kandanaissery. Location:2km south of Ariyannur, Near Choondal-Guruvayoor road. Other nearest famous landmarks are Sreekrishna College and ariyannoor Bhagawathi temple. Archeological site. Centuries old. Burial pits as it is told at the ASI board. Kovilan's house is at the neighbouring plot. His memorial also is seen there. You can reach with the help of Google maps

These were the remainings of burial house back from 1000 bc . Place under central government surveillance. Not much attractive like a tourist destination but for the history seekers its a great place. Many of remainings recovered from ariyannor from the great stone age.

Open from 10 to 5 pm. Good to visit if you like history

It's a small archeological site to visit. Pretty approachable to people who are located near Guruvayoor or can visit there once you plan visit Guruvayoor Temple.

Visited this place out of excitement but unfortunately the entrance was locked, also found no officials around whom we could enquire regarding the entry, but as per google timing this was visiting time. Took a glance from outside the premises but truly missed for not entering and have a look of the ancient remains.

Discribing the history is not well organised.Detailed display board is there, but mentioning the time back to 3000 BC cannot be explained.

It's a megalithic burial site. A place of archeological importance. The visit to the place is free.
