A beautiful place to spend an evening. The beauty from top is really good and the preferred time to visit in the evening as the day time will be really difficult under the direct sun. You can either climb the rock or you can drive your car or any vehicle from one side. On the top there are few caves called muniyara and a pond with lot of small fish. You will get a free fish spa if you want😜. You will get ice cream and there is no restaurants near by. The worst part is parking. Even though there's a parking its not sufficient and people will park their cars on the road and that makes a traffic jam all the time Cost - 0(no entry fee) Note - evenings will be really crowded and there will be some vehicles on top and its a noisy place since people will be bringing Bluetooth speakers and playing music

Cheppara Rock Garden. At last the tourism department have taken over the place and we can see some developments. Remaining Dolmens (muniyara) are now sperated with barriers. Sadly one or two dolmens are preserved, other dolmens are completely damaged. Place is blessed with Natural beauty and suitable for all to spend some quality time here. Its so sad that the authorities were too late to open eyes towards this precious place.

It's a beautiful place. You can enjoy the surrounding nature beauty from here. Best place to hangout with friends and family. The tourist department can convert this place to next level by providing basic things like a children park, garden, toilet facilities, rain shelters etc. A police aid post is compulsory for helping the tourist.

Nice outcrop of bare rock. Great view from the top. I was disappointed that visitors are throwing empty water bottles into the pond on the top. Not expected at a green site, especially in socially aware Kerala.

Is this place is Thrissur district...!! We can't imagine a one like this here... WoW!! We missed it... Awesome experience while visiting there.. It was drizzling when we visited there.. Evenings with sunset would have been superb... Next tym vil plan and go there...ASAP!! Vehicles were on top of the mountain.... It is crowded in evenings... No steps to climb up.. Just a handrail.. Should be a bit careful when climbing up nd coming down..

Chepara Rock Garder is a popular tourist destination of Thrissur. This place is a rock spread over acres. On top of this, the caves where the sages used to perform penance still exist. It has a side road and a forest on the other side. It is beautiful to see the sunset from above. Nearby are two dams of natural beauty, one on the Poomala Dam and the other on the Pathayakund Dam.

This beautiful place is situated about 4 km from poomala dam. No steps are available to climb to the top. You have to use the hand rail to reach to the top. Once you reach the top the views are amazing. The best time to visit the place is after evening 5'O clock. Only road side parking is available and parking or entry fees is not available. In rainy season you have to be careful as the rocks will be slippery and no safty guards/rails are available

Its a must visit spot in thrissur. The view from the top is just mind blowing. It will be slippery in rainy season. But there will be fog in the mornings during monsoon. So it will be better to visit in the mornings

An area with big rock, top of the rock flat region , visit early morning or evening only , otherwise very hot. SUNSET view is very beautiful. Road is narrow but vehicles are very less, so no traffic block usually

A beautiful place to spend the evening. The place is very crowded. We have to climb up the rock hill where we can spot some muniyaras. As I know there is no bathroom facility.

It was an amazing experience. The way to there is a little steep height, but you will not regret when you reached at the top. A beautiful must visit place for mind relaxation. Definitely we can enjoy the beauty of nature from here.. This is simply amazing😍 , You can enter there without any fee or ticket, -Entry fee: Entry for the cheppara cave is free and there is direct access from the road. -Parking: There is no special space for parking car. However I have parked my car in a hotel parking space. Most of the space was available to park -Shops: 3 shops can be found near to the cheppara cave, 1 is proper hotel for lunch etc and other two are mainly for snacks etc. It's not sure about the lunch in the other two shops.

Amazing rock top tourist spot. Small hike on rock (be careful in Monsoon & look out for slippery parts). Can drive to the top from the other side. Amazing view. Lot of hideouts. Seating available. Can spot some β€˜Muniyara’s.
