Lovely cafe centre with shop and garden centre. A very nice garden walk next to it. Well maintained. We had a special family event and staff went over and above to accommodate us in the Mezzanine area, including Linda who was a new waitress. I recommend their home-made cakes!

What a lovely place in stunning countryside. Had a super lunch in coffee shop/bistro with good vegan/vegetarian options. Walked around the colourful herb gardens, plenty of other plants and shrubs too. Finished off with a country stroll around the nature trail. Take your dog and a good pair of walking shoes as terrain is hills and meadow affording far reaching views. A little gem of a place.

Always a pleasure to visit. Lovely restaurant serving freshly prepared lunches and delicious cakes. Great walks for family and dogs. Plenty of plants to choose from and, although I haven't taken part, there seems to be lots of holiday activities for children. It's a great place to visit and in wonderful countryside.

6 out of 5 we say! Lovely, for an informative wander. Good meals, good service, good plants and such a grand collection. Loved it. Point of interest - disabled toilet IS available but in the kitchen showroom but one doesn't find this out until after negotiating a huge step and fighting with a self-closing door to the toilet where the info is inside!

I'm not going to tell you about the amazing value and high quality herbs, plants and trees available here and the coffee is good as well. Only downside is dogs not under controll. Bad selfish owners.

Excellent place, they have good long opening hours at the café and serve actual hot food. The garden centre is good, they have a posh indoor garden centre and a more commercial outdoor area and outdoor kiosk as well it is easy to pay as you walk past and you have room to move or push a wheelbarrow through if you buy a big tree. Cafe is similar, you have indoor and outdoor areas and upstairs and down so you can be people if you want or hide around the corner if you want peace. Car park is good as well, you have a proper tarmac area with lines on the floor or a hard dirt area in the woods if you want to go for a walk around the fields or garden. This is a good, free to do as you want place, you can just have a sarny or you can buy loads of stuff like nice trees l etc.... No one bothers you. The staff are really cool and easy going, nothing bothers them and they helped my friend there when he was ill, they helped carry him and offered to call an Ambulance for us. The long opening hours and food serving times are a great help when most other places are closed we know that this one will serve us.

Great place with a good menu but as I am on a Keto diet the eggs royal seemed to be the only thing hot meal suitable ........ And today was the day they weren't cooking it . Shame really as I really enjoyed the place.

Had an hour to waste before an appointment today so we called in to see what was there as we had passed so many times. Great place for a coffee and cake. Great selection of different varieties of Christmas trees, plants and general garden centre. Will call again for more coffee and cake sometime, and a better look round when the weather's better.

Fantastic place. We took our dog not sure what to expect but the nature trail is delightful and Max dog had a fab time. We had lunch there in the outdoor area and it was superb and value for money. The nursery is well laid out with some unusual plants/herbs. It's also free to get in. Loads of parking.

A fantastic shop. A large variety of plants and garden supplies and decorations. Had to buy a few things. Very reasonably priced with great service. The cafe has quite a selection of baked goods and super coffee. ☕️ ☕️ I will definitely be back.

Fascinated me for a while. Didn't realise there was a bistro. Good value! Outside seating. Lots of herbs, plants and garden accessories. Gift shop. Plenty of parking. Amazing views of the countryside.

Lovely place, lots of selection. Staff were friendly and Em was particularly helpful in assisting me with finding a large amount of rosemary that we can use at our wedding later this year and advising me on how to look after it. Would definitely recommend

We were terribly disappointed in the National Herb Centre. We thought we had found somewhere worth knowing about for the future, interesting with plenty to do and see. The centre is in a beautiful area with fantastic views but is certainly not worth travelling 30 minutes for unless you just want to purchase herbs or similar which you can purchase in other places anyway. We weren't sure where the laid-out herb gardens were unless they were the weedy overgrown patches on the way to the play area. The play area is totally unkept. The maze is so sweet and ideal for children but is overgrown and got stinging nettles across the paths. The grass was long and littered. We enjoy browsing garden centre gift shops but these were not like that. Just a couple of run-down barns or sheds, the first had expensive items just dotted around on tables or the floor, not giving the impression of quality. The second was a little better but neither gave us any stimulation to purchase. Altogether it was not a place I would rush back to.

We love it here! The cafe is great and offers a good range of food including cake and snacks, we've also had the Sunday roast and that was delicious. Lovely selection of plants, pots, planters and some furniture plus a little shop. There are some walks you can go on, plus a small playground with slide and swings...perfect for my almost 2 year old. We're lucky to live locally and like to pop by for a walk and a coffee regularly.

Lovely café, helpful (very) staff and great plants (lots of varieties of each herp too). Dog friendly and some nice walks. If you want herbs, just go. The bacon and egg cob is another reason to visit, though.

I love it here! We came for some herbs and "accidentally" ended up eating lunch, which was lush. A lovely adventure walk for the toddler, a truly great place for all!

Lovley garden centre with an excellent selection of herbs, fruit trees/plants, wildflowers, and other herbaceous plants. Lots of pots and other garden decor too. Theres a lovley little play area for younger children, some garden examples planted out and a nature walk too! Along with the cafe which serves lovely tasty home cooked food, this place 8s a little gem and its very easy to spend a couple of hours here Highly recommended to anyone in the area. Its not local for us about 45mins away) but we will definitely be visiting again

A return visit - although it must have been pre-pandemic when I was last there. A bit of a re-organisation of the site: the till is now in a hut! As always, a marvellous selection of herbs but also a good selection of compost and general garden plants, and I at last managed to find myself a hat! We only had a cold drink and cake in the courtyard beside the café (the cakes were delicious) so can't comment on the rest of the food. We didn't have time to follow their nature trail today, will have to come back again!

We very much enjoyed our visits, sitting at the outside tables with our dog, eating lunch and admiring the view. The food was very good with some delicious vegan options and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. If we were local we'd visit all the time!

Good place to go meet friends for a quick bite. Service was good, fast and the food itself was not bad. The centre itself was bursting with herbs I had heard of and many I had not. Who knew that there are so many types of thyme? There is a good space out back to walk into the valley should you wish.

Delightful find on our travels south. Not far from Banbury. Excellent cafe, good range of foods and drinks. Lovely garden centre, well priced shrubs and herbs Recommended
