I
have
insurance
now
and
was
looking
to
develop
a
relationship
with
a
dentist
and
get
an
x-ray
and
a
clean
which
is
covered
100%
by
my
insurance
as
it
is
viewed
as
preventative.
After
x-rays
and
a
discussion
about
my
teeth
the
office
manager
came
in
to
discuss
"my
dental
plan
for
the
future".
That
has
never
happened
before
I
should
have
seen
it
coming.
They
were
suggesting
a
clean
that
would
be
$800
of
which
I
would
be
$400
responsible
for
and
had
to
get
done
in
two
sessions
cuz
they
could
only
do
one
side
at
a
time
in
order
for
the
insurance
to
accept
it.
I
said
I
just
wanted
a
regular
old
clean
whose
dollar
value
is
$143
of
which
is
free
for
me.
I
was
told
it
was
not
in
"my
best
interest"
to
get
that
because
if
I
receive
the
general
clean
Ins.
would
not
cover
the
clean
they
were
suggesting.
When
I
said
I
didn't
want
that
clean
I
was
told
it
was
in
"my
best
interest"
to
get
it
because
it
was
not
the
best
clean
for
my
teeth
and
if
I
got
the
general
clean
the
insurance
would
probably
reject
this
one
in
the
future
because
of
the
X
ray
&
information
they
said
I
needed
and
provided.
I
left
the
office
angry
and
disappointed..
I
felt
like
I
was
in
a
used
car
lot
being
up
sold
for
"my
better
interest".
I'm
the
patient
if
I
just
wanted
a
general
clean
I
should
not
have
had
to
argue
for
it.
Regardless
of
whether
they
believe
that
was
in
my
best
interest
I
had
explained
to
the
dentist
and
hygienist
that
I
was
under
financial
duress
due
to
recent
illnesses
that
left
me
with
large
medical
bills,
I
had
other
work
that
needed
to
be
done
and
I
had
explained
snd
planned
to
do
in
the
future
as
I
was
able
to
afford
it
and
it
was
not
immediate.I
also
took
off
work
early,
cutting
my
workday
and
pay,
was
in
the
office
for
50
minutes
and
they
would
not
give
me
what
I
requested.
A
general
clean
wasn't
going
to
hurt
things
if
that
is
all
I
could
afford.
No
consideration
to
the
idea
that
they
did
not
have
to
give
me
this
expensive
clean
at
this
moment
as
more
than
one
is
allowed
per
year.
It
seems
that
in
view
of
future
work
they
lost
me
This
was
a
waste
of
my
time
and
money.
I
will
be
fair
the
dentist
and
the
hygienist
were
upbeat,
interactive
and
nice.
