This is the worst Ohio State campground we have ever visited. Upon arriving for a holiday weekend we found our site overgrown and muddy. The mud I can understand, no excuse for the tall grass. I had to set my camper up in 12" to 16" tall grass. There were clumps of rotting grass throughout the entire site. 3 minutes with a weed eater and 5 minutes with a rake would of greatly improved the site. There are 8" deep ruts right outside our door that are completely filled from the rain yesterday. The shower house and restrooms are just OK. For $100 spent, very disappointing. We will never come back. Avoid site 119 like the plague. The camp store is nice.

Amazing view kinda noisey but it is a public campground

We stopped in to check out the campgrounds while visiting Pymatuning State Park and we were amazed at how large the lake and campgrounds were. The sites were nice size and level with paved roads. Many sited were right on the water. The campgrounds, restroom and shower facilities were clean and well maintained. The camp office / store staff were very friendly and accommodating and we loved our visit to the nature center...a must see.

Another nice Ohio campgrounds. This campground is big, many sites and 3 separate areas. Potable water is directly to the left after camp check in office, access is on the left as well. Plan accordingly or you will drive around aimlessly saying...."where's the water". Some sites are close but offer space for personal enjoyment. Kids can rides scooters and bikes because the roads are paved with very slight slopes. We stayed lot 37, minimal front downward slope. Close access to restroom, playground and shower area if needed. We shall return, passing through on the way to PA. Happy trails.

We love camping at Pymatuning State Park. Easy in easy out, clean restroom, fishing, decent campsites.

This camp ground is hugh. We asked for a map & they didn't have any. We drove atound for like 45 minutes looking for our camp site. When we finally found it it was for a camper, wasn't on the water front. We then had to go back to the office they was being ignorant to my husband. He then had to drive around to look @ 5 different campsites. Finally found one campsite 164 that we liked. Too much hassle for 2 days 3 night.

Nice...very beautiful...it seems and smells like they use pesticides though...so if you have allergies be wary. We only camped and got rained out. The restrooms were clean the first day and the showers were ok.

I only went into one of their bathrooms and it appeared clean. It isn't-bad-, it's just -boring-. The beach is hilariously small and so unkempt there were gnats everywhere in the sand. Couldn't even utilize the entire swimming area because it was overrun with seaweed and you get tangled in it. The playgrounds are sad...a swing set is not a playground. 2/5 of my kids went home early because they were bored, and a third wishes they did. Good for people that just want to sit and stare at nature.
