It took me a while to write this review, and I am writing it with a lot of hard feelings. Cru Uncorked was our first choice for special occasions in the past (until the last visit). I will start with the worst: THE FOOD. the food was awful! It was presented beautifully but was not good at any other aspect! Taste was industrial, portion size was unsatisfying and shaming the value of the money that was paid for it, some ingredients felt not fresh and had vinigary aroma to them, desert was a total disappointment and though it was wonderfully served (visually), it was unedible and.. well.. just bad! THE SERVICE was not as expected and remembered from past visits. Bread and drinks were served late, and the overall attendance to the table was lacking. THE ATMOSPHERE was very good, music wasn't too loud, dining area felt spacious and it was relaxing and comfortable to sit at the table. I don't know the reason for the tremendous decline in quality of both food and service. I would definitely not visit there again unless chef and pastry chef will improve their performances and service will get a refresher. Overall it was a huge disappointment and made our guests (and ourselves) feel awkward.

We dined at Cru for Mothers Day weekend and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The interior of Cru is beautiful and I loved that it wasn’t overpacked with seating. Our waiter, Al, was so knowledgeable about the menu. We ended up trying all of the appetizers on their spring menu. Everything was prepared to perfection. I got the Char for my entree and I may have found my new favorite fish dish! Thank you Cru for a wonderful night out! I can’t wait to return.

On this visit, I got to sit on the covered patio, and it was a wonderful experience! The scent of the live flowers and plants was intoxicating. As always, the level of attentiveness by our server, Jersey, and managers was superb! We ordered several appetizers, and lamb tartar was my favorite! There were three of us, and we ordered rack of lamb, the veal chop and scallops, and they were all cooked to perfection and loaded with flavor. Of course, we could not go to Cru and not have dessert. The chocolate stone is always a favorite, and we also ordered a lemon custard dessert and the pistachio tart. Pastry Chef Lauren is a culinary genius! ❤️ I’m sharing some pictures of some of the flowers in the garden that I took in the dark. So beautiful! Highly recommend this place. Request Marc! He was absolutely phenomenal , he explained every dish to us; the food was amazing and even better, the service!! My duck was overcooked but it was fixed right away and it turned out incredible. We will be back !!! Thank you Marc for your expertise and marvelous service 😇

Great place for an elegant dinner. The service was excellent and the drinks were good. The menu is a bit limited, but our party enjoyed their food.

The servers are exceptional and talk about the food with a passion that gets you excited. I wish the dessert options were as exceptional as the food.

We celebrated our anniversary at Cru Uncorked. Very fancy, elegant, and overall amazing. The staff are very professional. We tried some cocktails. They were out of this world; very smooth, and let me say, sexy! I recommend violet lights, paper moon, and cannon smoke. We got cru Halibut and the filet mignon and both were amazingly delicious 👏We had a great and memorable night!

Absolutely delightful experience here. We had a table of 10 for a birthday dinner. The service was lovely. From the time you pull into the parking lot until you leave, they make sure you are fully taken care of. Server was very knowledgeable and offered tons of information on drinks and dishes, as well as answering all of our questions. The pastry chef made a delightful dessert that we will all be dreaming of for years to come.

Me and wife had dinner on Dec-30th. Space itself is grand with multiple dining areas. Tables have good distance in between so you can enjoy a conversation without overhearing much. We started with drinks and appetizers. Steak tartare and octopus were great. Probably the best cooked octopus I ever had, knowing how hard it is to cook it perfectly. We had chicken and duck as mains, which were pretty decent, not as mind blowing as appetizers though. Desserts were also pretty good. Service and platting was great, which you expect at a place like this. Couple of things that could have been better. Butter served with bread was a little too hard and didn’t have the spread like consistency that you can easily put on the bread. Had to apply force and it crumbled. Also, the spätzle with the duck was bland and not seasoned at all. Other components of the dish saved it though. Great experience overall though and we will be back.

Unbelievable from start to finish. Impeccable service. Every dish from appetizer to dessert melted in your mouth with an explosion of flavor and decadence. Cocktails were perfectly concocted. Every special event in your life you should experience at Cru

Had a great time here. The atmosphere is very upscale, drinks were fantastic, and food was divine. We got the Comte Potato Agnolotti and the Halibut entree, and an espresso with crème brûlée for desert. But I’m guessing you can’t go wrong. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. We came here just for a nice dinner but I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion.

I rarely write reviews, but our experience at Cru Uncorked for my wife’s birthday last night was simply sensational and required a recap! Our server Alban(Al) treated us like VIPs with a guided tour, snapping photos of us, and wonderful food and beverage recommendations. I didn’t get the server assistant’s name, but he was phenomenal as well, reinforcing our decisions and coming in clutch with the peanut butter s’mores dessert recommendation. The Steak Tartare was brilliant, and I ordered the Rack of Lamb for my entree, which was one of the most well composed entrees I have ever eaten. Each component of the dish added the perfect flavor to complement the previous or following flavors, I highly recommend it! The dinner was excellent from A to Z but the service from Al and the rest of the team was extraordinary. It was our first time of what I am sure will be many at Cru Uncorked!

My wife and I are working our way through Cleveland's best restaurants as a monthly date night. Not only was the atmosphere elegant, but the food was also excellent. We decided to try a French wine and were referred to Janine the sommelier who offered a selection that was delicious and did not exceed the budget we chose. The service was in line with the price, which is always nice. From valet to dessert, we recommend this restaurant. We will be back.
