I thought a place like Ahare Bangali will be perfect place for a family lunch. It was the worst one..... Even after waiting for 1and half hour I got no food.... The ones who came after us got food... There are many more better restaurants in the locality.... & also the price was more than anything..... Should not go to this place. Staff behavior was also very bad. Food was not ready no ane was prepared for anything.. Please do not go.. 😡🤬Should have rated it 0 star if there was option.

I am a probasi bangali. And during my short visit to Kolkata, I have my first experience of dinning in a restaurant serving genuine Bengali cusine. We have ordered two veg thali and two chicken combos. The food was great.In veg thali they provided dal, alu bhaja, alu posto and chutney. In chicken combo basanti pulao was served with chicken curry. If time permits I will visit again.
