We visited this place late at night because obviously our train got late and there was no other option to have indian food. This place serves quite a good range of indian food and the quantity justifies the price. Service is average. The overall ambience is nice and a very nice place to have food under railway premises. We ordered Dal makhni-Rice bowl and tawa rotis with mattar paneer. It was delicious.

Only Clean Place. All for show. No stuffing in both Veg and Non-veg Sandwich. Charges done through the roof. No complaint register. No Ginger/Sugar in Tea. When asked for complaint register , got handed loose A4 to write complaint.

The food is good but price is high. We took chole - bhature and idli-sambar. Both were good qualities.

Visited this place while we were waiting for our train and had proper south indian dosa and idli. We were happy. This place is also clean compared to the rest of the railway station and provides relief at a very reasonable price.

This is a swanky cafe style food joint inside the new building of Howrah station. I am giving them one star for food and service each, but giving them five star for atmosphere. Because that's what they have... ATMOSPHERE. If you want to eat atmosphere, you must visit this place, if you want food for which you are paying money, you should be somewhere else. We were in a hurry to catch train from platform no. 18, so needed to pack something to eat in train. As my wife loves biriyani, I packed chicken biriyani for her, and I paid total Rs. 329. If you are in Kolkata, Rs. 329 for a plate of Chicken biriyani, is a premium price. Standard restaurants charge over Rs. 300 in Kolkata for chicken biriyani, and provide a good portion and pretty good taste. So, after paying that amount, I expected the same. My experience came as a shock when I opened my parcel in train. They provided a very mini bucket, that looks a lot like KFC small buckets of chicken wings, and there was maximum 2 scoops of rice, that tastes dry and other stuff like aloo, chicken piece and egg. Total food was not enough for one single person, and right now my wife is eating biscuits after paying for one plate of biriyani. Feeling like going back to Howrah station and legally suing them for this scam. Hope my review helps other travellers to opt for better options.
