I have visited this museum many times but it never gets old to me. The best part is how they display the life journey of Ramkrishna Paramahansa, Maa Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, Rani Rashmoni, Sister Nivedita and other spiritual leaders. Details are very accurate. It is also well maintained.

This is a very interesting museum. Contains the life history of Shri Ramakrishna Prabhu, Sarada Devi, Shri Vivekanad ji and their disciples. When you enter you will see the replica of houses, maths, places these people went, their contribution to the society. The journey of Swami Vivekanad really mesmerized me. You can see both his wealthy lifestyle and then the saint lifestyle. You can see mockups of buildings where Vivekanad ji gave speeches, the articles/things he used during his stay in Chicago, New York, England etc. There is a very beautiful artificial banyan tree in the middle of the museum and I was told it took 7 years to make. The ticket cost only ₹5/- per person.

বেলুড় মঠ is the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, founded by Swami Vivekananda, the chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. It is located on the west bank of Hooghly River, Belur, West Bengal, India and is one of the significant institutions in Kolkata. This temple is the heart of the Ramakrishna Movement. The temple is notable for its architecture that fuses Hindu, Christian and Islamic motifs as a symbol of unity of all religions. In 2007 Belurmath railway station was also inaugurated which is dedicated to Belurmath temple.ain building of Belur Moth. Evening aarti is wonderful here.

Visited on 13.03.2020.I felt nostalgic to be here in this fascinating museum for the second time in my life alongwith my seven year old son as my first visit here was during my own schooldays ! This museum has attracted one and all to the various facets of science and technology through all these years. It will continue to captivate students in particular and also other visitors in the years ahead. With all safety measures in place and much to our elation, our favourite science museum has reopened on 10.11.2020 after remaining closed for months due to the pandemic.Hence my last visit here on 11.11.2020 was also special.👍

Awesome place to visit for people of all age. Science is taught in a very interactive manner, coupled with the touch of magic. The bubble show and science magic should were especially entertaining. It's suitable for children as small as those of class 1 to class 12. It has a canteen with reasonable rates and good arrangements. Must visit with family

Very good place for kids, but the main attractions; the coal mine and planetarium closed and many other exhibits closed due to Covid restrictions. ₹75 package not available now. Visit after few days when these restrictions end and return to normal.
