The lions children park is also great for kids with lots of activities like swings, activity area etc. There is also place for adult workouts and specialty areas like acupuncture walk zone. Great for a morning or evening walk.

A calm and peaceful place to enjoy the nature. It provides a beautiful view and sunsets are the best. The lake garden is divided into two parts one is smaller in size in comparison to the other so don't forget to visit both parts. It opens from 3pm - 6pm (time may vary). One thing that I don't like about this place is you'll get disturbed by eunuchs, asking for money. And don't carry any plastic bottles or plastic bags because you'll have to throw it outside before entering the lake garden, for keeping the garden clean. So go there and enjoy the day 😇.

The lake was especially beautiful, the clear blue waters shimmering in the sunlight, and the sound of birds singing echoed through the area. Groups of people scattered across the lake, doing yoga or playing games, and the atmosphere was one of pure joy and relaxation. After taking in the sights, smells, and sounds of the lake, there was plenty of delicious food to be found in the nearby food stalls. It was truly a magical experience and one that will stay with me for a long time.

Info - fb Courtesy: Sandip Bandhyopadhyay (Original) গতকাল গিয়েছিলাম রবীন্দ্র সরোবর।উদ্দেশ্য প্রকৃতি নিরীক্ষণ ও পাখির ছবি তোলা।আমি গিয়েছিলাম সকাল সাড়ে ছ'টার সময় আর ছিলাম বেলা সাড়ে বারোটা পর্যন্ত।এখন রবীন্দ্র সরোবর খোলা থাকে সকাল সাড়ে পাঁচটা থেকে সন্ধ্যে ছ'টা পর্যন্ত।আর এরমধ্যে সাফারি পার্ক খোলা থাকে সকালে ৫:৩০ থেকে ৯:৩০ ও বিকেলে ৪টে থেকে ৬টা পর্যন্ত। দক্ষিণ কলকাতার রবীন্দ্র সরোবর হল কলকাতার একটা জনপ্রিয় বিনোদন ক্ষেত্র।১৯২ একর নিয়ে তৈরি এই এলাকায় জলাশয় আছে ৭৩ একর।বাকি অংশে আছে গাছপালা ও অনান্য বিল্ডিং।এই এলাকায় আছে Bengal Rowing Club,Calcutta Sports Association,ক্রিকেট কোচিং ক্যাম্প,ফুটবল কোচিং সেন্টার,Art Gallery,নজরুল মঞ্চ,মুক্ত মঞ্চ, Pavilion Hall,সাফারি পার্ক ইত্যাদি।প্রাতঃভ্রমণকারী ও প্রকৃতিপ্রেমী মানুষজনদের জন্য রবীন্দ্র সরোবর এক অসাধারণ জায়গা।এখানে প্রচুর সবুজ আছে।শুধুমাত্র গাছের প্রজাতির সংখ্যা অন্তত পঞ্চাশটা।এই কারণে এখানে প্রচুর পাখি দেখা যায়। eBird এর পরিসংখ্যান অনুযায়ী এখানে বিভিন্ন সময়ে স্থায়ী ও পরিযায়ী পাখি মিলে ১৯৩ টি প্রজাতির পাখির দেখা পাওয়া গেছে।এর মধ্যে ভারী চমৎকার কিছু পাখির নাম হল Black-naped Monarch,Indian Paradise Flycatcher,Verditer Flycatcher,Indian Pitta,Oriental White-eye ইত্যাদি। Info - fb Courtesy: Sandip Bandhyopadhyay
